Airbus A318 FD Special Version V3 - Complete Pack Download

File Description:
This is the new version of my Airbus A318 with the Panel in V3 opened on the A321. I remind you that this aircraft is based on the Project Airbis A318, with an ehanced panel based on the work of stefan Liebe.

This latest development can see the more realistic Airbus available as freeware. With a new version of the panel, the aircraft has a 100% cold & dark Status at the start of a flight, a real fuel system management with all valves, piumps and crossfeed work, the complete Bleed circuit with X-bleed, a real engines manual startup procedure like the real aircraft. I have also ehanced the navigation display with TCAS function in ARC and NAV mode; There is also the engines failure procedure to work (fire, oil leaks....) and many improved function that I cannot describe here. The aircraft comes with user manual in English and in French, and it is essantial to read it before you fly.

All the functions of the V2 have been kept and improved, like the vertical navigation gauge, the terrain radar map on the navigation display, the autolanding function, the SFCC. Aircraft comes with 6 liveries (Air France and 5 Frontier liveries realized by Project Airbus Team). This version is only in CFm engines, but with real engine data (CFM56-5B9). Now, the Fly By wire works in 2 modes: "Normal Law" and "Direct Law". I put 300 hours into the development of this panel and I hope that you will like it. In the coming weeks, I will adapt this panel to the A319 V2 and A320 V2, that are the these are the last aircrafts that I must update with this new panel. Please, note that this panel is the v3.05 version, witch fixes the bugs of the first version that came with the A321 (there is an update panel for the A321). Francois Dore

Yakolev 52 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Re-upload following Avsim hack. Quoting from Wikipedia: "The Yakovlev Yak-52 is a Soviet primary trainer aircraft. It first flew in 1976 and is still being produced in Romania, by Aerostar, they gained manufacturing rights under agreement within COMECON socialist trade organisation now defunct. The Yak-52 was designed originally as an aerobatic trainer for students in the Soviet DOSAAF training organisation. That organisation trained both civilian sport pilots and military pilots. Since the early 1990s and the fall of the Soviet Union, many Yak 52s have been exported to the west. Of the approximately 1,800 produced to date, most now fly in the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia and other western countries. A descendant of the single-seat competition aerobatic Yakovlev Yak-50, the all-metal Yak-52 is powered by a 360 hp, 9-cylinder radial engine, the Vedeneyev M14P. The aircraft has inverted fuel and oil systems permitting inverted flight for as long as two minutes. The engine drives a two-bladed counter-clockwise rotating, constant-speed, wood and fiberglass laminate propeller. The tricycle landing gear is fully retractable, but it remains partially-exposed in the retracted position, affording both a useful level of drag in down manoeuvres and a measure of protection should the plane be forced to land "wheels up." Curiously the main wheels retract forward into the slipstream." It has has been constructed using Gmax v1.2. The aircraft is constructed with as few polygons as possible and with a single texture file to ensure the absolute minimum impact on your framerates. The model has six LODs. As usual, I have made three different textures for the aircraft. These are accurate textures which also includes the actual registration number of the aircraft as this seems to be what many desire to have. It is designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population and to use with the marvellous GA-Traffic programme by Markus Brunner . It is also very flyable as a normal aircraft.

Project Opensky Boeing 747-100v4 Native Conversion Base package for FSX/P3D Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Project Opensky Boeing 747100V4 Native Conversion for FSX/P3D is the first of the initial release of the POSKY 747V4 Classic Series, and it is a new conversion of the old top-hit freeware add-on aircraft series that is known to the Flight Simulation Community since FS2002, FS2004, and onwards to FSX and has been loved by thousands of Flight-simmers across the world because of its simple-but-great model, and completely free of charge. But with newer flight simulators on the line under the ESP Flight Simulator Type such as Lockheed Martin Prepar3DV4 and V5, the Project Opensky Boeing 747V4 Classic Series (which was only made for FS9) were slowly falling behind and couldn’t keep up with the current flight simulators today. And now, for the first time in 2020; this conversion has surfaced to the public and in the eyes of the flight simulation community. Destined to fly in the current flight simulators of today like FSX, FSX: Steam Edition, Prepar3D V1 to V4 and Prepar3D V5, this classic freeware had continued to live on into the new era, bringing nostalgia not only just to those who flown it before in FS2004, but also for a new generation who can relive classic scenes of the Jumbo Jet’s illustrious history through this iconic freeware add-on aircraft series in today’s flight simulator platforms. And the permission to convert the models was acquired from the developer who was the mind of the POSKY 747V4 Classic Series: Hiroshi Igami. And he gave our conversion team the green light to do so. Leading to this conversion to surface in the public for the first time. Follow the instructions in the Readme txt file. And read the documentation for more info and the credits on this base package. PAKN - King Salmon - Alaska, US V1 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is the final version, complete in itself and incorporating the two modifications posted separately. King Salmon is a town with a population of just under 400, on the north bank of the Naknek River and 15 miles from the sea. The airport is adjacent to the town and was originally an airforce base; the military hangars on the airport are still usable. The airport, with its long runway (11-29 and 8,500 feet with an ILS, and a second runway 18-36 and 4,000 feet) is a transportation hub for the area in general and in particular for the salmon industry. Along the Naknek River there are numerous canneries and there are also fishing lodges on the river and nearby lakes; to speed up transportation to the lodges there are float bases on the river to the south of the airport. King Salmon has three tiers of scheduled flights: Alaska Air direct from Anchorage in a 737 (passengers and cargo), PenAir (Saab turboprop) as part of their flights up and down the peninsula, and Grant Air serving nearby small towns. There are also PenAir flights, both scheduled and unscheduled, in smaller aircraft (Piper Navajo for instance) to smaller airports for the fishing season, plus cargo flights in larger aircraft by the lowest bidder (Everts and Northern). To complete the mix the AI includes a pair of F15s. The runways cross (see the airport diagram) so read the notes re long taxi routes. There is AI for PAKN, plus revised AI made for Dutch Harbor which includes flights by PenAir to King Salmon, plus revised parking for Dutch Harbor with new replacement bgls to cater for more flights. There is also AI for the float bases on the river; I have made two runways separated into two float bases for river AI, called King Salmon Floats and King Salmon River; more AI for these will be added when other scenery along the river is made. Just land according to the wind and taxi to whatever dock takes your fancy.

Bethel area airfields in southwest Alaska close to the Yukon River Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This presumes you have already installed my post of Bethel PABE. In the Yukon River area of Alaska there are a lot of small villages close together, which is unusual for Alaska. Almost all of them are on the coast or a river bank, and the local economies depend on fishing. Some are larger than others and have a fish processing plant, such as in Emmonak. This is the largest such plant and it exports prepared fish by cargo planes which fly in on a daily basis, using an extended runway. This post includes airfields to the south and west of PABE, 17 of them; some of them already included and now modified. There will be more airfields to the north and northwest of Bethel in a future post. There are revisions to Bethel to include parking spaces for Yute Air (newly included here) and extra spaces for Ryan Air. Both of these flew Cessna 205 planes into the smaller village strips from Bethel (past tense as Yute Air recently went bankrupt). The northwest area is served both from Bethel and also from St Mary's PASM, which is in the northwest and at a more economical range to the local airfields (100 miles closer than Bethel). These smaller airfields have few airfield buildings or any other creature comforts; featuring heavily are a new standard blue garage building (sometimes not yet installed) and a small and old terminal shed (that has sometimes collapsed and been removed). Go to "http://vfrmap.com/" for free vfr maps of the area, There is a pic of the local chart area included here. The screenshots are a random sample. Kipnuk PAKI is the one that appears to have a second and long grass runway; what it actually has is the ground prepared for a new and long gravel runway but which hasn't been started yet as it has taken 10 years just to prepare the ground. I have no idea why.

Dawson Creek CYDQ in British Columbia, Canada Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Dawson Creek is at 2,148 feet asl just east of the Rocky Mountains, less than 10 miles west of the BC/Alberta border. The Peace River, 25 miles north of Dawson Creek, links the two sides of the Rockies, winding through peaks that reach up almost to 8,000 feet. The population grew when the Northern Alberta Railway was extended to Dawsons Creek in 1932, and grew even more more when the Alaska Highway was built in 1942 and Dawsons Creek was where it started from. The airport is just to the east of the town. The runway is 5,000 feet of wide asphalt (150 feet) aligned 06/24, lit, and with PAPI and approach lights. There is a water runway to the north of the main runway with the same alignment, separately designated as Dawson Creek CBD3. The two operate as one; traffic for both use the mandatory frequency of 122.2 and talk to one controller in one control tower. However, in FS9 the ATC for two separately designated airfields operates as if they are nowhere near each other and near misses are the result. I have put them both in un-manned tower mode so you will announce your position and intentions and select your own parking spots etc. There is in reality a lack of apron markings but I have marked the positions of both gates. The apron is not large so there is only one other apron parking spot (see the traffic cone) and most parking is either next to one of the hangars or on the grass. The aprons vary from asphalt, to concrete, onwards to gravel, and then further onwards to some gravel amid the bare dirt; I have replicated this variation as far as FS9 permits. The buildings are bespoke from photos. The AI includes Central Mountain Air with two daily scheduled flights and Northern Cariboo as one of the airlines that occasionally runs charter flights in CYDQ. There are also private GA flights, and float plane flights into and out of CBD3.

PAEN, PAEX, 3AK4, 30AK, 52AK - Alaska, USA Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The town of Kenai is on the east coast of Cook Inlet, 60 miles southwest of Anchorage. The airport is in the northern part of the town, with a runway aligned 1-19, 7,550 feet long and 150 feet wide (with an ILS on 19). A second runway is gravel, 2,000 feet long and for winter use by ski planes. There is also a water runway, and all three are aligned the same and called "1 left-19 right" (the main runway) "1 right-19 left" (gravel) and "1 water-19 water". The taxiways are extensive and designed for a far larger traffic than the airport has today, though even now the airport is fairly busy. In FS9 a water runway for AI cannot work with an ATC control tower; the water part of PAEN has therefore been separated into another call sign PAEX which has ONLY the water runway; the tower will therefore direct the plane that makes contact to use the water runway. The PAEN airport runway has taxiway connections at each end and also two intermediates; at the northern end there are in fact two so a total of 5; B, C, D, E, and F; there is an airport diagram included. GA traffic goes to one of two parking aprons, both at the southern end, and at the far southern end there is the hangar for the Civil Air Patrol. The AI includes aircraft from my previous Alaska posts, as Kenai is where I sent them when they departed from, for instance, Palmer. Airlines and cargo companies that operate from and to Kenai are included in the AI: ERA (which has recently changed it's name), Grant Aviation, Air North, Wings of Alaska, North Star Air, and a small local company Air Supply Alaska, along with Fedex, UPS, Everts, and Northern Air Cargo. There is also GA and float AI. Nearby smaller airfields are included, partly because one of them was dramatically misaligned in FS9.

Douglas A-20C Boston Dutch Naval Air Service Download

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-20C by Milton Shupe and his team. It shows Douglas DB7 Boston D52 of the Royal Dutch East Indies Navy, Andir, 6 March 1942. In december 1941, the Dutch government ordered 32 Douglas Boostons for the defence of the Dutch Indies after the outbreak of war in the Pacific. These aircraft were destined for the MLD, or Dutch Naval Air Service. The aircraft were painted in RAF camouflage colors and received Dutch orange triangles on the fuselage and the underside of the wings, together with a serial consisting of a D with a number and the text KON.MARINE on the nose. The aircraft were crated and shipped to the Dutch East Indies, with the first six arriving in Java on the 27th of February 1942, just a day before the Japanese landings in Java. The crates were unloaded in Tjilatjap. It was decided to try and assemble a few aircraft on the spot, in the harbor of Tjilatjap, while three crates were sent to Andir by train. Despite Japanese bombing raids on the harbor, the MLD technicians managed to assemble two Bostons in the harbor, and on the morning of the 5th of March, Lt Burgerhout, a Catalina pilot, took of from an improvised runway withh D52 and flew to Tasikmalaja, where it was planned to fill the aircraft with fuel for the flight to Andir air base. However, no suitable fuel was found. Before the second Boston could be flown out, the 'runway' was destroyed by a second Japanese bomb raid, so the ground crew destroyed the aircraft. The aircraft at Tasikmalaja was destroyed on the 8th of Mmarch, just before the capitulation of the Dutch East Indies. Of the aircraft transported by train, one was assembled, and this fell intact into the hands of the Japanese, who later used it for flight evaluations. The other two aircraft were destroyed by their ground crews. The other 26 Bostons still underway were diverted to Australia, and these later flew with no 22 squadron of the RAAF. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by William Ellis.
