SIDSTARS Palm Springs Intl (KPSP)

File Description:
Procedures based on current cycle (0803 13Mar-10Apr) FAA Digital Aeronautical Information and Terminal Procedure Publications (Charts Included). Remember Sonny Bono (of Sonny and Cher)? He was mayor here before his hard landing with a tree on a ski slope and now there is the SBONO STAR and UBABE fix (You Got Me Babe). The airport at 477 ft is right next to a 10,834 ft mountain; hence, no ILS but two RNP approaches get Alaska Airlines 737-900's into here (but no 744's). I've included 13 NOATC departure routes for the commonly filed departures, and complete description of each procedure in the readme and the header of the kpsp.txt file. For PMDG Only

Beaverton CBV2 and Beaverton North fields near Lake Simcoe, Ontario, Canada

File Description:
The town of Beaverton is on the east shore of Lake Simcoe. Just a bit over three miles to the east of the town is Beaverton airfield CBV2, with a grass runway 12/30 that appears to be 2,100 feet long, rather than the listed 2,400 feet. The field is new enough to be omitted from FS9, and though there are plans to build hangars I don't know if anything has been built in the year since I last saw it, so the only buildings here are farm-related. The second field to the northwest is Beaverton North, which is privately owned. It has 2,000 feet or so of grass runway and a large hangar (or storage shed?) and that about sums up all I know about it. There are two airfield scenery folders, two landclass files to provide the grass airfield areas, and a third landclass folder that modifies the terrain around Beaverton CBV2.

KHIO - Hillsboro Oregon Airport - Oregon, USA

File Description:
Presenting Portland-Hillsboro airport (KHIO) in Oregon, for FSX. This is a stand-alone scenery for everyone, but if you have my Aurora scenery then this will be a nice addition, since the aircraft that fly out of Aurora head to Hillsboro and back.

There are two folders. Unzip this entire zip to a temp folder of your choice. The readme file is in the folder called 'additional files.... etc.'.

There are two installation instructions...very short, very easy to understand...depending on whether you have Aurora or not. Please note the custom rwy lights...the objects and the lights themselves which show at night, of course. (both rwys). Note also the tower transparent windows and the weather anemometer on the roof. I have chased AI from Aurora to Hillsboro... works fine. Fun to do. As always, if there are any problems please do not hesitate to contact me at my e-mail address which is in the readme file. Bob.

File Description: KGFL - Glens Falls, Floyd Bennett Memorial v3.0, located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY USA, this facility is owned by Warren County and run by RichAir. Although it has a 5000 ft main rwy, KGFL is a Non-controlled airfield catering to small engine a/c up to a few private jet daily traffic serving 'The Northcountry' New York. KGFL recently received several upgrades including 4 new GA hangars large enough to accommodate the needs of business jets. All Objects fully designed and completely redone in GMAX using high resolution custom photo-real textures. Complete rebuild from the ground up for FSX since v2.2 for Fs9. Also includes new ADE file, more accurate airport grounds perimeter, satellite photo-real grounds, custom taxiways, 3D taxi-signs and taxi lights, area roads, animated hangar doors, and near area landclass. No AI traffic tracks included with this release, but ADE designed to support several AI. FSX Acceleration required.

Radio Range for Vultee and DC3_RR fix

File Description:
When I modified the radio compass for my Vultee panel from the CD3_RR gauge (DC3_Radio_Compass_NH3.cab) I barrowed from the 1940 panel the in the original DC3 provided with the full radio range program I forgot to rename it and now my new gauge shows up in there 1940 panel...OOPs! Sorry guys. This is needed only if you installed my vultee panel and want the original two needle gauge back.

Texture fix for Alphas F-8 Crusader

File Description:
This is a texture fix for the Alphas F-8 Crusader in the Sundowners paintscheme with the red/white fin. It corrects the wrong aircraft number and type. The old textures has the number "147084" it should read "148684". It also includes a new nosecone texture with panellines. Just copy the updated textures into the corresponding texture folder and overwrite the old ones when asked.
