The airport was opened in 1962 and continues to operate as a general aviation facility serving the Kankakee area and South Chicago. It is 60 miles (97 km) south of Chicago and 75 miles (121 km) north of Champaign, Illinois. It is the largest Airport between the Chicago Midway Airport and the Champaign Airport. It is located in the southwesternmost part of the island, near the town of Canaan, and 11 km (6.8 mi) from the capital, Scarborough. The airport is one of two international airports serving the twin isle republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The other airport is located on the island of Trinidad, Piarco International Airport. Crown Point International Airport has two terminals. The International Terminal was once both the regional and international passenger terminal for the airport but has been renovated to serve as an all-international terminal. Additional Fuel Trucks, Airport Vehicle roads, plus many other Airport scenery and features have been added and brought up to the year 2008. For those that use ADE Ver 1.20 or later can also edit the Airport.

EGKH Headcorn/Lashenden

File Description:
This package adds the apron & Hangars & the local road has been added to allow road access to the airfield. I have also included the village/town of nearby Headcorn It also provides lots of parking spots using FSX Panner and ATC interaction along with some AI traffic. All additional Buildings were placed using default objects. AI traffic uses default aircraft which was scheduled by hand using the TrafficDatabaseBuilder from the SDK tools provided by FSX Deluxe. Any additional roads and modified Landclass & water features were created using FSX-KML.
