Sharara Oil Field, is an oil field located in the Murzuq Desert, Libya. It was discovered in 1980 and developed by Petrom. The field is operated and owned by the Spanish company Repsol.
The airfield located 2km south of the oil field. There are active flights between other oil fields and Tripoli.

TerraModels Scenery Development System by Allen Kriesman was used to create the scenery for Grand Marais/Cook County Airport (KCKC), Minnesota. Biber Salsa models were also used to create this scenery. The taxiways were added using the program by Peter Jacobson. No custom models were created for this scenery.
