| Yamamoto Shootdown by Lockheed P-38G with AI Aircraft and Scenery |

File Description:
Re-Upload. This package provides a new P-38G modified specifically for recreating the mission that resulted in the interception and shootdown of Admiral Yamamoto over Bougainville Island in 1943 in accord with available documentation (links provided). The panel, mixture controls, capacity of the external tanks and the flight dynamics have been tailored to provide accurate power settings and performance to closely match the historical flight. Included are detailed documentation of the new aircraft, and the P-38 fuel settings used by the Army Air Corps before Charles Lindbergh suggested a "correction" in 1944 which greatly improved cruise fuel efficiency. To add to the realism, also included are AI aircraft (Zeros, Bettys, SBDs and C-47s) from CFS2.
New airports, scenery, and extensive scenario documentation to help the simulator pilot successfully "intercept" and "shoot down" the Admiral's Mitsubishi G4M 'Betty' are provided by experienced real world fighter pilot and Adversary Instructor Jim Daigneau, who also provided overall technical support and mission testing.
David C. Copley's outstanding P-38G has been modified as described above and is included, with his permission.

This is a Modification of the excellent D18S by Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas and Andre Folkers comprising a new 2D panel and flight dynamics for a 1943 US Navy JRB-4. It features the 1943 vintage "Navy Pilot's Manual" based layout and gauges. Included are the appropriate original D18S model and textures for a complete aircraft installation, with permission by Shupe, Thomas, and Folkers. The Pilots Manual was used as the source for flight planning instructions, panel design, Sperry autopilot, ADF and other gauges, fuel tank locations and selection levers, and electrical system. Also included are pop-up sextant and drift meters. A special thank you to Milton Shupe who generously provided me with a great amount of technical help with this project.

1942 USAAF C-46A. This is a further modification of the mod by Terry Jones (ga_c46_tj.zip) of the original aircraft by Libardo Guzman, Tom Gibson and Greg Pepper (c46ga.zip). It features a new photo-based panel design, a new design Radio Range Gauge, AutoRich/AutoLean mixture controls, Controls to automatically raise (and prevent lowering) the flaps based on speed, Improved flight dynamics, Panel switches for the doors, Separate cabin and cockpit lights switches, and Fuel quantity gauges for the rear wing tanks. Included are the appropriate models and textures for a complete FS9 aircraft installation.

| FSX/P3D Quick ILS Utility Ver 3.1.5 **UPDATE ** |

This utility was written to simplify the process of finding the ILS frequency when ATC assigns an ILS approach. Operation is simple. Enter the ICAO, click the Search button and a list of all runways, runway lengths and runway ILS frequencies for that ICAO are displayed. Here's the quick part... Just double click on a runway and the ILS frequency will instantly be set in the Nav1 radio. You can also start Flight Simulator, load a flightplan and then start Quick ILS. It will automatically read the flightplan and then display the destination airport's runway data. Again, just double click on the assigned runway to set the Nav1 radio for the ILS approach. ILS data aside, General Aviation fans may want to use Quick ILS to get information about possible destination airports. Enter an ICAO and you can quickly view the runways available, their length, the surface (ie grass, gravel, paved...) and the runway headings. Version 3.1.5 adds the ILS ID to the display. This is an AI traffic package for Eastern Air Lines for the summer of 1965. Includes all repaints needed to cover the entire fleet, AI schedules, a scan of the June, 1965 Eastern timetable that I used to create the schedules, scans of a few of my slides from the era and a couple of other odds & ends. This was the changeover period from the Golden Falcon to the new hockey stick motif, so both color schemes are included - 20 in all. All AI models are included in the download.
