Pober Pixie Light Aircraft Download

File Description:
The Pober Pixie was a light aircraft designed in the United States in the early 1970s and marketed for homebuilding. It was a conventional parasol-wing monoplane with fixed tailwheel undercarriage and a single-seat, open cockpit. In response to the 1973 oil crisis, the EAA launched "Project Econoplane" to develop an aircraft with high fuel economy that would therefore be affordable for its members to operate. The Pober Pixie was the result, with fuel consumption of 3 to 3.5 US Gal (11 to 13 L) per hour. Plans were completed in January 1974 and the prototype flew in late July, in time for the EAA Annual Convention that year. After the convention, the prototype was returned to the shop for minor improvement work, including installation of a Limbach SL 1700 EA engine (60 hp @ 3550 rpm) and Rehm 5330 two-blade fixed-pitch propeller. The improvements were incorporated into the plans.

SpiceJet Airways Boeing 737-9GJER/WL (VT-SLC) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
SpiceJet Airlines (SG) Boeing 737-9GJER/W (VT-SLC) (Dual Livery Options). PMDG 737-800/900 needed FSX/P3D. Leased aircraft often have many different liveries through the course of their history. VT-SLC is no exception to this.
Delivered in 2008, the aircraft was sold to BBAM which then leased the aircraft to SpiceJet as the reg (VT-SGB). In 2014, Spicejet's lease terminated and Anadolu Jet took the aircraft. In August 07, 2015, SpiceJet took N462DC (her orig. registration) back, and re-registered her as VT-SLC. VT-SLC wears a hybrid livery to this day, but I opted to include the regular SpiceJet livery AND the hybrid livery as two different repaint options! You may choose either or, for which livery you wish to fly!
I did my best to include as many details as possible including: cockpit textures/decals, tail details, wing registration, independent fuse panel wearing, and many more! Expect the high level of detail Flightsimfx is known for!

Airbus A320 Family CFM56-5A and CFM56-5B Download

File Description:
SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our brand new Airbus A320 Family CFM56 sound pack for FSX! This add-on features configurations for both CFM56-5A and CFM56-5B sounds, along with three interior POV options such as cockpit, front cabin, and rear cabin. The read me provided in the zip file will direct you to what version to use for which airplane. FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. The A320 aircraft family's famous Pneumatic Transfer Unit 'barking' noise has been implemented in the start up sound, gear up sound, and engine shut down sound. Along with these features, SkyHigh Audio Simulations' usual touches have been added such as using audio recordings only from A320 CFM aircraft as source files to provide a fully authentic sound experience for the simmer. For more information regarding this sound and our many other sound releases please visit our website at: www.skyhighflightsim.webs.com!

Quebec CYQB Download

File Description:
All pilots have used or heard the word "Quebec" during their radio communication but not many pilots actually landed at Quebec International airport (CYQB). A great number of Head of States, VIPs, tourists came to Quebec City for summits, special occasions or to visit the city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. Quebec airport is also hosting a great airshow and this year in June, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Quebec City, five of the world best aerobatic squadrons will perform simultaneously over Quebec: the British "Red Arrows", the French "La Patrouille de France", the US Navy "Blue Angels", the USAF "Thunderbirds" and the Canadian "Snowbirds". It will be quite a sight. This very accurate scenery will give you the opportunity to visit CYQB with your simulator. Months of effort were devoted to make this scenery as real as possible. This package includes more that 25 highly detailed hangars and buildings all having night textures, some of them have windows with specular effect. Light poles provide aprons lighting. The adjacent mount Belair have communication towers with strobe lights visible for over 12nm which provides a good visual reference coming into the airport. Exceltech, a maintenance facility has static aircrafts parked in front. A second publication will include the new terminal which is presently under construction.

Air Canada Boeing 767-233 early 90's livery (C-GAUP) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
I was contacted some time back by some Canadian simmers looking for a rendition of an Air Canada Boeing 767-200 in the "Maple Leaf" 2 red cheat line livery of the early 1990's. I had been wanting a reason to repaint the Project Opensky Boeing 767 V4 model, so this was my chance. Sadly, Air Canada retired the last 767-200 from service in 2008. This particular airframe, the 5th 767 delivered to Air Canada, was retired around 2002.

This is a detailed repaint with custom textures. All windows are custom, hand-painted, 3D with window shades. The night textures are custom as well. The stewardess is a former Miss Canada, the interior exit signs are in French (SORTIE) and the pushback tug even bears the old Air Canada logos. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. I hope you enjoy flying this wonderful aircraft as much as I did creating it. A special thanks to Lorne Jordan who suggested this repaint and supported me on getting it 'just right.' This is a complete install and contains all Project Opensky provided files current to Version 2004.8.0. The sound is from the default B737. (This is a reupload of a work from April 2009 that was lost as a result of the AVSIM site compromise.)

The Guggenheim Robbery Download

File Description:
(Spanish and English version in the same download).Acceleration required.Music, lights, rewards...The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao has been robbed! Thieves are on the run. Police know that they are fleeing to Bayonne (France) aboard an aircraft. But French Police have no jurisdiction over them, so it is up to you to catch them if you can.Our mission is to reach Bayonne Airport before them, and then take them unawares as soon as they land.Be careful ! The range between the speed that you need to catch them and the Lear's overspeed is very narrow. And is dificult to maintein this range with lots of turbulences.

Hawker Typhoon JP975 RAF 609 Sqn PR-S Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Aerplane Heaven Hawker Typhoon in the colors of Typhoon JP975 as it may have looked on the 19th of August 1944, when it crashed near Saint-Maclou-la-Brière, a small village near Le Havre. JP975 was piloted by pilot Officer James Stellin RNZAF, who was flying with 609 squadron, based in Thorney Island airfield. On the 19th of August, 609 had been attacking the Falaise pocket when James Stellin was probably hit by flak while attacking ground targets. He tried to fly back to England, but was losing altitude and on realising he was probably going to crash in the middle of the village, managed to divert to crash at the last moment. He jumped from his aircraft, but was too low and his chute did not open. He was buried by the thankful civilians, who celebrated his sacrifice each year and have named the square in front of the church 'Place Stellin'. More on the last mission by Pilot Officer Stellin can be found here: https://nzhistory.govt.nz/page/kiwi-pilots-sacrifice-saves-french-village. It is not known what the aircraft code of JP975 was on the day of the crash, so I have opted for PR-S, for Stellin. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.

FTTN Am-Timan, Chad Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for Am-Timan (ICAO: FTTN, ICAO: ANC), also known as Am Timan, Am Timane, Am Timmane, Umm Timman - take your pick! It is a small airport serving a small city of the same name in South-Eastern Chad, almost exactly centred in the continent of Africa. The airport was upgraded in 1971 by the French Foreign Legion to allow military transport craft to land, but it still retains a sand/dirt strip. The airport is served today by a couple of flights a week using Fokker Fellowship jets of Toumai Air Tchad. The entire area is very dry and sandy but for some reason it is depicted in Flight Simulator as green and lush. Microsoft have only provided a runway at this airport and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport realistically. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress #43-97976 "A Bit o' Lace" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the accu-sim version of the A2A B-17G Flying Fortress. It represents #42-97976 "A Bit o' Lace", which was assigned to the 709th BS /447th BG. The nose art consisted of a cartoon by Milton Caniff. The co-pilot was Lt. John Bauman, a fraternity brother of Milton Caniff. He sent Caniff a detailed idea of the proposed artwork and the sketch was returned with Caniff's annotation: "A Bit-O-Lace for Lt. John H. Bauman, and the rest of the gang, with my best wishes - Milton Caniff NY, Oct. 1944". Nicholas Fingelly, an artist attached to the 709th BS, carried out the work and completed the painting in about six hours and gave Milton Caniff full credit for his his character. Her first crew flew 35 missions over Europe with no injuries, although returning with a good many holes, at times. The closest call was when a piece of shrapnel came up through Navigator's table and "Ike" Eisenhart's arms, but missed him. A surprise souvenir for Ike, which he still has. She flew more missions with different crews, until the april 4, 1945 flight. From the navigator, John Kirkwood: "Right over Kiel, and seconds before the bomb release, I heard the co-pilot say that "This airplane feels funny." Seconds later the tail gunner, who had regained his power of speech, blurted out something to the effect that part of "The tail was gone." A flak shell had gone right through the left horizontal tail, leaving only a partial surface, and completely removing the left elevator. We dropped out of the formation, and tried to drop the bombs, but the electrical system failed. We flew north a minute or so, the plane now in the hands of the pilot. The pilot did not want to drop over Denmark, so we turned out over sea, and dropped via screwdriver. Actually, we were over Schleswig-Holstein, according to my position, but it was close, and Tom did not want to chance killing danes. We flew on, at a reduced speed, far out to sea on a west-south-west course with occasional ETA's to the pilot. Several fighters joined us, and finally we got back to the base, and the runway was cleared for us. A decision had to be made by the pilot: To jump or ride her in.. Tom decided that he could land the plane, so we all congregated to the radio room, and that was that. I might add that none of us had any desire to jump. Most of the photos of 976 were taken after repairs, hence the dark colored rudder and left elevator. As you know, the color prior to the damage was silver. 976 flew one or two missions after that, but I never saw her again, other than in a color photo of the moth-balled fleet in Arizona." Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by A2A.
