This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-15-RE 42-75845 B4-J "The Madam". It was the assigned aircraft of Lieutenant John H. Fetzer, from Shreveport Louisiana, of the 387th FS/ 365th FG during D-Day. He was flying as wingman of Capt. Arlo Henry on 6 June 1944, D-Day, when they spotted a number of Tiger tanks trying to hide in a castle. Capt Henry blew up the castle with his bombs, while Lt Fetzer attacked a Tiger with his 1000 lb bombs. His first bomb exploded harmlessly in a field, but his second "my contribution to D-Day" exploded right behind the Tiger, flipping it over 3 times. As for 42-75845, she proved to be a very strong lady. It began its career with the initial start of operations of the 365h FG, with Lt. Fetzer as its original pilot. He named the aircraft after his future wife, Helen. It flew its 200th mission in March 1945, and continued right to the end of the war, as the only remaining original Thunderbolt of the 365th. She was shot up several times, had wings and engines replaced and countless holes patched, but its crew chief, Joe DiMaio remarked that as long as 'the Madam' came back, he would keep her flying, and he did. File Description: This scenery has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2. It
has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration , but compatibility is not
guaranteed by the author.
The scenery includes: Two carrier groups CVN68 and CVN69, ( carrier models from
Javier Fernandez ), two AI KC-135 tanker aircraft, AI F-18A aircraft approaching
the carrier, Navy destroyer and a Navy Cruiser as escort ships for the carrier,
a number of oil platforms and the ARS4 radar gauge which displays air targets
and boat targets.
The ARS4 radar gauge provides also a auto landing function for the carrier and a
auto tracking function for aircraft in order to support a A2A re-fueling. The
scenery package includes as well the program Arrcab, developed by Richard Hogan,
and the RCBCO gauge developed by Rob Barendregt. Arrcab or RCBCO are required to
support a catapult start from a carrier and the cable arrestor function for a
carrier landing.
This is not a load and fly package. Please take your time to read the included
documentation for the ARS4 gauge and the MECOPS scenery carefully. Do not skip
chapters because you may think, they are not important for you.
Do not start the installation of the scenery before you have finished the
reading of the documents.

Dear Flight Simulator Enthusiast, we thank you for flying with Flight Line Avionics, and are pleased to offer an example of our unique technology: True Display XP.
As you might have been aware off, we are currently designing the overall systems and avionics of the upcoming Flight1’s Piper Meridian. This extraordinary aircraft features an advanced cockpit panel, with Glass Cockpit Meggitt Avionics EADI, EHSI and EDU, coupled with a state of the art S-TEC Autopilot System and a full featured Garmin Radio Stack and Navigation System. Rest assured that our rendition of the Meridian avionics far above the standards of the Flight Line Avionics depth and accuracy, and even more!
To let you prefigure what our unique technology brings to the overall simulated experience, we have especially designed this 737 ADI Demo to showcase a small fraction of the overall design techniques and tools we have built: True Display XP.
True Display XP is meant to provide enough visual cues and precision, while not sacrificing the accuracy at any resolution. This is achieved with both a high refresh rate and a highly sophisticated rendering engine, while virtually having no impact to the FS2002 Frame Rate. With this technology in any aircraft product, you’ll be able to precisely hand fly any ILS approach to a level of precision you’ve never been used to with any other FS2002 add-on. Seeing is believing!
Unlike the other “vector gauges”, our unique technology not only resembles and feels like a real CRT/LCD, but is more elaborate than an Anti Aliasing Line Drawing system. This prevent any “jitter” in effectively rendering all the display at a sub pixel resolution.
We are glad to let you share our excitement for the Flight1’s Meridian with this demo which showcases our unique technology.

THIS IS MY FINAL AN-22 VERSION: Unveiled to the West in 1965, the Antonov An-22 was the world's largest aircraft, until the advent of the Lockheed C-5A Galaxy. Powered by 4 contra-rotating turboprops, the design remains the world's largest turboprop-powered airplane. The An-22 was originally built for the Soviet Air Force and Aeroflot, the state airline. A total of 68 aircraft were built during 1965-1975, from which 2 never flew, 19 have been preserved, and 33 removed from service. Currently only 7 are in service. Six of them are used by the Russian Air Force and one (UR-09307) belongs to Antonov Design Bureau, used for civil needs, and operates out of UKKM. The AN-22 is designed to carry heavy loads of 80 tonnes over a 3,000 nm range at high speed and moderate altitude. The civilian model is used for long and medium range flights with updated avionics and flight controls. The wing has a forward and rear sweep effect with a low taper ratio and moderate wing area for it's size. The tail includes twin vertical fins that help maintain stability. The engines are constant speed turboprops that include 2 four bladed contra-rotating props with auto-pitch, and this gives her a thrust rating of 15,211 shp and a fuel efficiency of .353 lb/hp/hr. The cargo area is 14 ft high and wide, and 108 ft long. All fuel is contained within the wings and in the upper fuselage (7 tanks). She has 12 wheels that carry most of the weight, and two steering wheels located behind the crew cabin. Cargo is loaded through the rear loading ramp. The cockpit is located high, as well as the crew quarters. Additional passengers (when present) are seated below the cockpit forward. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47C 42-7945 flown by Lieutenant Spiros 'the Greek' Pisanos of the 334th FS, 4th FG, Finschhafen, New Guinea, 1944. Born in Athens, Greece, in the suburb of Kolonos, on 10 November 1919, Spiros Nicholas "Steve" Pisanos, the son of a subway motorman, came to America in April 1938, as a crew member on a Greek Merchant ship. Arriving in Baltimore, Maryland and unable to speak English, Steve found his way to New York City, where he worked in bakeries and restaurants. As he earned money he started flying lessons at Floyd Bennett Field. In August 1940, he setled i Plainfield, New Jersey, his adopted home town, and continued flying lessons at Westfield Airport. He earned a private pilot's license and, although still a Greek national, in October 1941 he joined the British Royal Air Force sponsored by the Clayton Knight Committee in New York City.
Steve began his military flight training at Polaris Flight Academy in Glendale, California. Upon graduation, Pilot Officer Pisanos was transferred to England where he completed RAF Officers Training School at Cosford, England and OTU (Operational Training Unit) at Old Sarum Aerodrome in Salisbury. Pilot Officer Pisanos was posted to the 268 Fighter Squadron at Snailwell Aerodrome in Newmarket flying P-51A's. He later transferred to the 71 Eagle Squadron, one of the three Eagle squadrons in the RAF, comprised of American volunteers flyin Spitfires at Debden RAF Aerodrome.
When the USAAF 4th Fighter Group absorbed the American members of the Eagle Squadrons in September and October 1942, Pilot Officer Pisanos was commissioned a lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Forces. On 3 May 1943, Lt. Pisanos was naturalized as an American citizen in London, England, becoming the first individual in American history to be naturalized outside the Continental United States.
Flying his first mission in his P-47 "Miss Plainfield" out of Debden Aerodrome with the 334th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, Lt. Pisanos, "The Flying Greek," scored his first victory on 21 May 1943, when he downed a German FW-190 over Ghent, Belgium. by 1 January 1944 he had become an ace with five confirmed victories. On 5 March 1944, he obtained his 10th victory and while returning from that B-17 escort mission to Limoges and Bordeaux, France, Steve experienced engine failure in his P-51B and crash-landed south of Le Havre. For six months he evaded the Germans and worked with the French Resistance and the American OSS sabotaging the German war machine in occupied France. Lt. Pisanos returned to England on 2 September 1944, following the liberation of Paris.
Upon returning to the United States, Captain Pisanos was assigned to the Flight Test Division at Wright Field, Ohio. He attended the USAF Test Pilot School and subsequently served as a test pilot at Wright Field and Muroc Lake, California, testing the YP-80 jet aircraft. During his career in the USAF, Steve graduated from the University of Maryland, attended the Air Command and Staff College and the Air War College. In December 1973, after a distinguished thirty years of service in the United States Air Force, he retired with the rank of Colonel. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney

Syrian Arab Airlines, operating as SyrianAir, is the flag carrier airline of Syria. It operates scheduled international services to several destinations in Asia, Europe and North Africa, the number of flights operated has seriously declined due to the turmoil in Syria. SyrianAir used to serve over 50 destinations worldwide in recent years. Its main base is Damascus International Airport and Aleppo International Airport. SyrianAir is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and Arabesk Airline Alliance.
Syrian Air's livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-232 aircraft (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Boeing 747-200 in Continental Airlines' newest livery. This FSDS aircraft model, by Hiroshi Igami & Mitsushi Yutaka of Project Open Sky, has a 48-sided based Variable Sided Fuselage (POSKY Original Technique), fully animated spoilers, elevators, rudders, flaps, ailerons, thrust reversers, and engine fan blades. This 747-200 has detailed landing gears, including tilting boogies and detailed gear bays. It also includes highly detailed night lighting, with flashing beacons, strobes, and other lights along with night textures plus transparent cockpit windows with 3D pilots. Flight Dynamics (FDE) by Warren C. Daniel, 747 data and FDE advice given by Simon Ng Hin Tat. Aircraft and FDE tested by Project Open Sky members, master textures by C. Vincent Cho & Gary Hayes. These textures here are an adaptation of my Continental 747-400 NC (Newest Livery) textures, modified to fit the 747-200 model. These aircraft textures are very accurate and include several photorealistic parts. They are based on a former Continental 742, N18025, which sadly, is now sitting out in the desert rotting.

I know, I know, the "Quebecair" company dosen't have this kind of plane. Maybe in the future.
But this painting is not entirely fictive. The texture are has realistic has possible. Based on the real
SAAB 340 fleet. These textures are dedicated to all the virtual pilots of the world, especialy for
thoses of the province of Quebec. Enjoy! This paint have the unique particularity to possess a 100% external night texture done from scratch.
70% of theses night textures are absolutely new and stunning on this model. (Three horray for
Meljet!!!) Thank to Melvin Rafi to design such a great model. (Long live the king!!!)

of the 777 has been built in Gmax for FS2002 (works perfect in FS2004) Include "Maintenance Mode",
