File Description:
This gauge has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP2 or SP1. It should also work with Acceleration, but this is not guaranteed by the author. The gauge provides flight information for the pilot regarding the destination airport in terms of frequencies, runway conditions, altitude, bearing and distance, and basic information about the flight plan like current traveled miles and a estimated calculation about the Top Of Descent (TOD ) decision point. Welcome to the complete Summer 2019 flight plans for Cityjet, based on the week 7-13 April 2019 and using actual rotations. The Cityjet-operated flights on behalf of Aer Lingus, Air France and Brussels Airlines are included. The unreliable SSJs have been retired from the fleet and replaced by 4 all-white Bombardier CRJ900s.
Aer Lingus, Air France, Brussels Airlines all use alphanumeric callsigns which we are not able to reproduce in Flight Simulator, so I have used the commercial flight numbers throughout.

Made in Jon Masterson's excellent Airport Design Editor v1.76 using stock freeware objects. Framerate-friendly scenery for flight simmers who want accurate ground layouts.
Airport laid out from Bing Maps aerial view and the UK AIP charts.
This was made in one afternoon to be used on VATSIM, the online multiplayer flight sim network. I have no idea if this will work with AI or any flight simulator other than P3D v4.5 HF2. It might work with FSX.

Lockheed's first fighter, the prototype P-38 was destroyed only a few weeks after its first flight. No in-flight photographs of this historic aircraft exist, so this model was designed specifically to imagine how it may have looked in flight. Full-featured FSDS2 model, with reflective metal textures, dynamic VC, animated parts (control surfaces, Fowler flaps, landing gear, gear suspension, rolling wheels, cooling vents, canopy, landing light, yoke, etc.) Complete package, including authentic P-38 sounds recorded by author. Ver. 1.3: updated for FS2004.

2D panel for the Convair CV-580 twin-engine prop airliner. It uses mainly FS9 default gauges; the extra gauges used are included. Realistic looking; bitmap of real aircraft's cockpit was used as background. Also makes use of FSACARS and ServInfo gauges if you make use of those fine additions for online flying. Fully IFR capible (NAV2, DME, etc). Works well with other 2-engine props other than the Convair. Tested only with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 - A Century of Flight. Have a good flight!

SimLauncherX (or SLX for short) can be used as a launcher application for both FSX:ME, FSX:SE and Prepar3D (v1, v2 and v3). Flights/scenarios can be loaded when launching the simulator or when the simulator is already running. New flights can be created by selecting one of the installed aircraft, selecting the start location (runway or parking position), selecting the type of weather and the time of day. You can also display and create flight plans and attach them to a flight as requested or active flight plan. Version 5.9 adds a flight computer, AI browser, interactive (spoken) checklists, PMDG 737/777 CDUs, approach charts, fleet management and many other improvements. SimLauncherX is a more modern version of my previous SimLauncher application with a lot of additional functionality:

- display, create and modify flight plans.
- show .kml/.kmz files on the map.
- radio stack.
- instruments panel.
- scenery.cfg editor.
- dll/exe.xml editor.
- process monitor.

File Description:
In 1977 the novel "Imperial 109", by Richard Doyle, was published. The story is based on the flight of an Imperial Airways Short 'Empire' Class flying-boat, "Caterina", on its journey through Africa to Cairo and onwards through Europe to England and finally across the Atlantic to New York. When I read this novel just recently I couldn't help but think that it would make a wonderful Flight for Flight Simulator, and the fact that the characters and storyline was fiction was of no concern, because the airline, the aircraft and the route flown were real. I also considered that the best way to present this was to publish it as an unfolding story in blog format, in the same fashion as the Sir Alan Cobham flight around Africa which I had undertaken. Therefore I present you with "Imperial 109" for Microsoft Flight Simulator and you can take part by following and flying the updates as I present them online.
