Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 "Black 6" Download

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the Flight Replicas Bf-109G. This aircraft was fully restored to flying condition and operated for several years at Duxford and unlike every other flying 109G, Black 6 is a real "Augsburg Eagle". The aircraft was built in Leipzig in 1942 and saw brief service with JG 77 in Libya, flown by Lt. Heinz Ludemann. The aircraft, having been grounded due to damage, was captured by Bobby Gibbes and the RAAF with the allied push westward. It was Bobby Gibbes' plan to fly it back to Australia as a war prize but being that it was the first captured G model orders had it sent to Britain for RAF evaluation. The aircraft then was put into storage after the war, being brought out to the public from time to time - every September for Battle of Britain day. In 1991 it flew for the first time again since 1945. In 1997, while performing at Duxford, it was involved in an off-airport ground loop which caused major damage to the airplane but thankfully the pilot survived with very little injury. The aircraft was fully restored following the accident and now can be seen at the RAF Museum, Hendon.

Rae Lakes CYRA at Gameti in the NW Territories Canada, corrected Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a corrected version that rectifies the airfield elevation, which I forgot to include in the first post; 120 downloads and nobody tells me till now? The remainder of this is as first written, apart from the installation instructions: Gameti is a village in the Northwest Territories, around 65 miles north of Whati, which was recently posted. Until 2005 the village, which has a population of around 280, was known as Rae Lakes and the airfield is now renamed Gameti/Rae Lakes as shown in the 2010 version of the Nav Canada Flight Supplement, my standard reference year. Permanent settlement was established there in 1965 There is no all-weather road access and the village is reliant upon the airfield for supplies, along with an ice road in the winter months. The airfield is a mile or so east of the village, with a lit gravel runway of just over 3,000 feet aligned 14-32 and with PAPI at both ends. The airfield is served by Air Tindi from Yellowknife on an almost daily basis, included in the AI here along with some GA and a Friday delivery by a Buffalo DC3 that uses all of the runway. The runway has lake water at each end, ready for the unwary.

North Vietnamese Government Ilyushin IL-18D Salon Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Ilyushin Il-18 is a four turboprop engined passenger aircraft for medium-long range. The first Kuznetsov NK4 powered flight was on 4 Jul 1957 from Moscow-Khodynka airport, the first Ivchenko AI-20 powered flight on 17 Sep 1958. This plane was produced in series for 12 years and achieved great popularity due to the favourable load factor. The main operator was Aeroflot, but the IL-18 proved a popular plane with airlines behind the former "Iron Curtain". In view of possible peace negotiations during the war in Vietnam, the North Vietnamese leadership was in need of a long-haul VIP transport aircraft. The Soviet Union delivered an IL-18D Salon in 1968 registered 195 to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam as an "80th Birthday present" for President Ho Chi Minh. A bit early perhaps since he was born on 19 May 1890; he died at the age of 79. For a while the aircraft displayed on both sides of the nose the call sign BH-195; BH stood for Bac Ho (= Uncle Ho) and 195 stood for his Birthday. The VIP IL-18D was re-registered VN-B195 in 1973. In August 1976 she was transferred to Hang Khong Viet Nam though still wearing the original pre-1973 "Aeroflot style" cheatline. The last landing of this IL-18D Salon was on 15 Dec 1989 at Hanoi after which she was written from use. The registration was cancelled on 31 Dec 1989. The aircraft has been scrapped since. These are textures only. You will need the FS2004 Aeroproyecto Ilyushin IL-18D (aeroproyecto_il18d.zip; available at Flightsim.com) by Edgar Guinart Lopez. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

UFO - A51 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
You can fly this UFO model in all directions e.g. vertical up/down lateral right/left, forward/backward, and can stay in a static position on any altitude level. The UFO provides a maximum speed of Mach 4.3 on all altitude levels and the altitude level is unlimited.
The overall radius of the model is 170 feet. The overall height is 100 feet. Be aware of this size if you are landing on standard airports. The model includes a animated gear system which is a big gray ring. The red disk on the outside of the model is the rotating UFO engine. In addition the model contains 3 guns which are moving out of the body if they are armed by activating a switch on the weapon control control panel. Important to say, the UFO is not a traditional aircraft. It reacts different and you need to handle it differently too! For more information and how to fly the model, read the documentation carefully and read the documentation first, before you go to fly it !!!! The model and the gauges have been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP2 or SP1. It has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration but compatibility is not guaranteed by the author. The format for the panel and gauges is developed for a 4/3 monitor. Use the Wide Screen Panel.cfg if you have a 16/9 Monitor. For installation instructions see the documentation inside the zip file.
Credit goes out to: Bob Familton and Geoffrey Bogeaus for improvement, recommendations, testing and review, and to Doug Dawson for his XML IPC interface. Enjoy a new way to fly. Dietmar Loleit

C-5M Super Galaxy Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
All former versions of the C-5 have completed the conversion to C-5M, to date. They include more efficient engines with more power, a glass cockpit, longer range and heavier lift capabilities. Other than those aspects, they look the same as before. VERY BIG!!! She is the largest cargo aircraft operated by the U.S. Air Force and several other countries who have purchased her. I suggest reading about this aircraft on-line, and watching a few You Tube videos before your first flight, but do as you wish. She is very easy to fly, and all C-5M pilots agree with this statement. This version is based at Dover AFB, and the callsign is real. The refurbished aspects of this FSX model include extremely realistic engine/aerodynamics as well as payload distribution. The landing gear have also been corrected for realism. What this plane does in the simulator is what it does realistically. The panel is close to real, but takes time to understand and use properly. The sounds used are very realistic, so no need to change that unless you feel the need to do so. Flying her is pretty easy. If you are a Real World C-5 Pilot, you will find this version is very accurate. Read the text document enclosed entitled "Readmenow" after unzipping the file. Original Model by: Kazunori Ito; Panel by: Philippe Wallert; Sound by: Emil Serafino; Engine/Aerodynamic modifications and effects by: Douglas E. Trapp, [email protected] May 2018 ...
