Garmin G1000 and CRJ-700 FSX SP-1 Gauge Fix

File Description:
FSX SP-1 fixed some of the Instrument Panel issues in the original release, but they missed a couple of items that should have been picked up. After a full reinstall of FSX and the SP-1 Patch, you can use these files to correct the gauge errors. As a pilot and former navigator, I couldn't let these go. The TAS display on all installed G1000 MFDs is displayed as CS, and the TAS in the CRJ-700 is shown as IAS. The two enclosed zip files will correct both issues. The specific and simple instructions are included in each file in Readme.txt files. Happy Flying - Per Ardua Ad Astra!

Tupolev 204 Update

File Description:
Patch for my Tuplev 204 panel, Sorry !! for a mistake i have uploaded the panel with a Shareware ND gauge of Tony D'Ambrosio instead of the freeware NDs gauge by the same author. Replace the "panel.cfg" and add the NDs gauge into the "panel" folder.

Kill Drift Gauge

File Description:
FS2004 KillDrift Gauge v1. The video screen on this gauge graphically displays the effect of wind on the track of an aircraft. This allows the pilot to eliminate drift error. Wind speed and wind direction are also shown. Two separate course headings can be stored into this gauge. Included is an icon gauge for installing KillDrift into separate window. It can also be installed on a panel. The gauge can be helpful for hovering/landing helicopters because of its 360-degree display capability. By Glenn Copeland

File Description:
This gauge was orginally designed for Erik Cantu's old, but nevertheless very nice and very good flying - thanks Frit;) - DC10-30! Of coure, this gauge is adaptable to other planes. And this gauge supports a flight detend position. Also this gauge works only in the panel view!!! With this gauge you can deploy or retract spoilers by keystroke F11, F12, #, "shift"+#. Of course, you can define other keystrokes!! 2 Gauges are included. One for Erik's DC10-30. And one for the FS9 B737-400!

Turbine Helicopter SFC Gauge

File Description:

Useful only for flight dynamics developers; not for end users. Turbine helicopters in FS2004 and FSX which are based on the Bell 206B flight model are limited to a single SFC (Specific Fuel Consumption), one engine, and a maximum fuel flow of 247 PPH, no matter the helicopter model. This gauge uses the Doug Dawson fuel dump gauge (included) to dump extra fuel to simulate the greater fuel requirements of larger helicopters, and can vary the apparent SFC with HP. Requires development of matching flight dynamics and fuel tank arrangements. Also requires XML gauge editing (engine data entry) and recoding any fuel flow gauges. Thanks to Doug Dawson for the fuel dump gauge.

Gauge: VTOL/Hover for V22-Osprey V1.2

File Description:
This freeware gauge adds new VTOL & Hover features to Alphasim's FS9 V22-Osprey. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to: 1. Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FSX variables from an XML gauge. 2. Nick Needham, for his rotorwash effects. Requires FSUIPC3 (registered or unregistered, NOT included). FSX Carrier Operation Package V3.0

File Description:
This freeware archive contains a set of gauges, effects and sounds which you can add to tailhook-equiped aircraft in FSX, and enables you to perform takeoffs and approaches/landings on aircraft carriers (static AND moving !!). It features: (1): A catapult gauge, enabling a catapult-launch takeoff. (2): An arrester gauge, enabling a cable-arrested landing. (3): A IFLOLS gauge, enabling accurate approaches and landings. (4): A SonicBoom effect (visual and audible) plus controller gauge. Includes extensive installation/usage documentation. Requires prior installation of FSUIPC.
