CTAF Voicepack Mod

File Description:
This voicepack mod introduces a number of changes to the way CTAF communications are handled in the sim. For all CTAF communications, aircraft now repeat the name of the airport at the end of the transmission to help ensure copy of the airport name during busy CTAF activity. Furthermore aircraft now say on all transmissions the type of aircraft they are (Beech, Cessna, Mooney, etc). Finally, the default format of position announcements for VFR/IFR aircraft would say "10 miles west of Miller County", which is an overly-repetitive use of the airport name. Aircraft now announce position/bearing without saying the airport name, as that is repeated at the end of the transmission. This is all meant to better reflect real-world CTAF transmission protocols.

This is a complete redesign by Cliff Presley that converts simTECH Flight Design's FREEWARE Beech 18 into a fabulous, painstakingly accurate, photo realistic delineation of a classic USAF C-45G "Expediter". Cliff put over 500 man hours into the scale exterior textures, upgraded interior, engine detail, and reconfigured flight crew. In addition, the package comes with a wonderful sound system by Des Braban, a more accurate instrument panel by Fred Choate, and a revised aircraft.cfg file by John de Giorgio that makes this beauty fly with the best of them, the way it was supposed to.

File Description:
FS2004 Aircraft - The Cessna 303, also called the Crusader, is a six-place light twin aircraft. First flown on February 14, 1978, it was originally designed as a four-seat twin-engined craft that would have competed with the Piper Seminole, Gulfstream American GA-7 Cougar, and Beech Duchess. After market demand for 4-place light twins declined, Cessna redesigned the aircraft as a six-place twin. The new model, designated the T303, began rolling off the production line for delivery in October of 1981. At the time it was the first all-new production twin built by Cessna in over a decade. Panel by Ray Lunning. This aircraft is version 3 created with FSDS2.10 by John B. Loney, Jr.

Piaggio PD-808 v1.2

File Description:
This Aircraft looks like aGMax model, but has something more. It's not. It includes all animations you could want for FS2002, for instance press SHIFT+E to open the main door. and the sun reflection effect not possible with GMax. With 5 different liveries, reflections and glare effect on fuselage and canopy. A basic Virtual cockpit. The PD-808 is an electronic warfare aircraft, used by italian forces. 27 were built, Piaggio found not anyone intersted in it in the hard civiian buisness, and limited to produce just the ones requested by Italian Air Force (FFAA).
It comes in 5 different liveries:
1) Aeronautica militare: as FFAA painted it for transportation use
2) Low Profile Gray: an opaque paint version, probably for use in electronic operations when mimetic is less important than radar engagement
3) Mimetic paint scheme: painted in gray and green ,the paint is strangely gloss to a mimetic paint...
4) Pratica Di Mare: a little test airport in Italy, soit's a sort of prototype used for secondary tests.
5) Test Livery: As Piaggio painted the first prototype (It seems...)

Beechcraft Staggerwing (VH-AFP)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Alabeo Beech Staggerwing in the colors of VH-AFP, as it looked in the early sixties. This machine (c/n 357) was originally built as a D17A and registered in the USA as NC20778 to The Armor Institute on 1 November 1939. It took part in their 1940-41 Antarctic Expedition (which I painted as well), following which it was purchased by Connellan Airways in 1941. However, the aircraft was impressed by the RAAF as A39-2 prior to use by Connellan. Post war the aircraft was returned to Connellan where the original 380 hp Jacobs engine was replaced by a 450 hp Pratt & Whitney Wasp Junior, bringing the aircraft up to D17S standard. It was first registered as VH-AFP on 19 March 1947. VH-AFP was withdrawn from service on 6 August 1951, however it was stored and returned to service in 1956, being re-registered on 3 April. The aircraft was once again withdrawn from service in November 1957 and was sold to Tadgell Aviation of Toowomba, Qld and used for crop seeding. It struck a tree and crashed on 22 December 1963 while seeding at Springton, near Dingo, Qld. Sadly the pilot was killed. The burnt out airframe of this Staggerwing was located in April 2007 at the remote crash site and collected by Staggerwing enthusiast Cameron Hanley and trucked to his hangar at Caboolture, Qld where he is rebuilding Beech C17B VH-UXP (for which two repaints are available as well). Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the blank textures by Alabeo.

SOCATA TBM 700 - Mac version

File Description:
This version is for Mac only ! TBM 700, the famous single-engined turbo-prop built by the French group EADS SOCATA, the first IFR FAA approved single in the world ! With its complete illustrated manual (French and English versions both included).

Baron Digital Engine Panel for FIP

File Description: For Saitek Pro Flight Instrument Panel. This folder contains two engine panels, digital type, for Beech Baron. The difference between the two panels is the position of the fuel tank gauge, oil gauges, trims, flaps and gears lights. The package includes a serie of coloured needles that can be changed easily, just replace the default needle by the one of your choice. Default needles are white for left engine parameters and blue for right engine parameters. Left tank needle is green (more visible), right tank needle is blue. Both Baron_digit_engine.xml provide: Manifold pressure, Fuel flow, Oil temperature, Oil pressure, Propeller RPM, Cylinder Head Temperature, Exhaust Gas Temperature, Fuel level for the left and right tanks, Pitch, Rudder and Aileron trims, Gears down and in transit lights, flaps positions and in transit lights.

Default AI General Aviation V2

File Description:
These files are the default AI flight plans for all the general aviation flights as delivered in Flight Simulator 2004. They have been separated by aircraft and sorted by departure region/country. These flightplans may be used as a basis for more realistic GA traffic. From replacing the tail numbers with realistic regionally accurate numbers to completely replacing the default flights with more realistic AI GA traffic on a regional basis. These files will also make it easier to shift GA traffic out of major commercial hub airports (so you won't be running over a Cessna 172 while on final approach into JFK any more). This second version is to correct the Beech King Air 350 (AC#2). In the first version all the flight plans had somehow been doubled in the file.

Air Florida

File Description:
You Must be a member of Air Florida Virtual in order to use this file!! This file places AIR FLORIDA aircraft and flights in your TTools file. You must have TTools by Lee Swordy. You must also have the following AFV aircraft available at your AFV website: Beech 1900D, CRJ-700, B-757, RJ-85, AFV B-737. Flights stay primarily in Florida and the Carribean, but there are some to Atlanta. This was to add life to my Florida flights. Another file required for this file is MY rendition of Fort Lauderdale, kfll.zip. This has a 2FLL overlay which has the regional jets landing on the cross runway and taxiing to a regional terminal.
