FS2004 LOM Library Objects Images - Set 31. This archive contains an image import file containing thumbnails or image files for use with Library Object Manager (LOM) version 1.0+ program to manage FS2004 library objects and create scenery by ScruffyDuck Software, Jon Masterson. This is one image collection of 21 Maritime objects, ships, bouys, icebergs and fish. Requires LOM_100.ZIP, EZMARITIME.ZIP and import into LOM of RON_EZ_MARITIME.BGL which is included with EZMARITIME.ZIP. Also included is a set of higher resolution screenshots to upgrade those images imported into LOM. Higher resolution screenshots are suitable for printing an index or contact sheet of images. Tips and Tricks - Part 13. This issue, the first of the Fall 2005 season, attempts to dispel the notion that you can become "bored" with FS2004. Numerous recommendations for new and different things to do and audition are included as well as the usual assortment of "How-To's", links to useful sites, and much, much more. A new feature is a "From the Mailbag" segment where we try to answer a question of general interest submitted by a reader. Updated indexes by John Burford in .xls (Excel) and .pdf formats for the entire series are included. There is also a group of BONUS files which I believe you will enjoy using. As usual, I have attempted to include something of value for everyone, regardless of your experience level. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

File Description:
Textures only for Tim "Piglet" Conrad's Vought OS2U Kingfisher. This set contains three repaints depicting the leaders of the three sections of Observation Squadron One, based aboard the battlewagons of Battleship Division One in 1941: USS Arizona (red section), USS Nevada (white section) and USS Pennsylvania (blue section.) These updated files fix a small defect in my first upload; they correct a discontinuity where the formation chevron wraps around the leading edge of the wing at the root. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Modifying Cockpit Nighttime Lighting in FS2004 - an Illustrated Tutorial. This tutorial will show you how to easily modify the nighttime lighting of virtually any panel. Also included is a replacement set of panel icons which can be used to light the default panel icons at night also. No programming knowledge is required. The tutorial uses the default B737-400 as an example but the concept may be applied to any panel. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary location and follow the tutorial instructions. This update will resolve problem with the VC gauges files not displaying due to an error in the panel.cfg file. Un-zip
file contents and replace the panel.cfg file in the SU-15A\PANEL with this one. Place the $panel_SU15A file in the texture.4 directory.
