| YDON Dowerin Town and Airstrip (Modelled for Dowerin Field Days) |

File Description:
YDON Dowerin is home to the Dowerin GWN Field Days, currently a two day annual event (held in the last week of August) showcasing agricultural and associated equipment, as well as providing information and services to people from rural areas. The Field Days attract on average in excess of 600 exhibitors as well as over 15,000 local and national visitors each day.
The event was first held as the Dowerin Machinery Field Day on 3 September 1965, and was the result of meetings by the Dowerin Progress Association the previous year which looked at ideas to prevent the town of Dowerin from becoming a ghost town. Some twenty exhibitors and two thousand visitors attended the first field day, with funds raised from the first event going towards funding the construction of a dam and a grassed tennis court. The event continues to be run and managed by the local community, with three full time staff and 400 volunteers involved in the event's running each year. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

| RAF Balderton |

File Description:
RAF Balderton is a former Royal Air Force station located 2.0 miles (3.2 km) south of Newark-on-Trent, sandwiched between the now extinct Great Northern Railway (GNR) Bottesford-Newark line and the A1 road in Nottinghamshire, England.
Opened in 1942, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as a troop carrier transport airfield and after for munitions storage before it was closed in 1957.
With the facility released from military control, Balderton was returned to agriculture, the runway concrete disappearing as hardcore under the AI road improvements of the 1960s. At that time, the developed Al was routed west of the original road, over the eastern perimeter track of the airfield, before coming back to the east to bypass Balderton village and Newark.
Gypsum open-pit mining has also taken its toll where quarrying has completely obliterated the airfield, with single track roads all that remain of the runway and perimeter track, and the occasional concrete runway end or pile of rubble.
Today the remains of the airfield are located on private property being used as agricultural fields.

| Colville Lake CEB3 in Northwest Territories Canada |

Colville Lake is a small village of around 150 Dene, located to the northwest of the Great Bear Lake and east of the Mackenzie River, 120 miles north of Norman Wells. The village and the airfield are next to each other and to the lake shore. I recently discovered which of the standard terminal buildings had been used there and this, along with information I already had, enabled me to now make the scenery, which is based on an approximate 2010 date. The gravel runway is lit and around 2,800 feet long, aligned 10-28. North Wright Air serves the village from it's headquarters at Norman Wells with daily flights by de Havilland Twin Otters, or "twotters" as they were quickly named among the northern Canadian airline personnel when they were first produced. The approximate time of this scenery is 2010. While testing this scenery I discovered that Tulita (previously called Fort Norman) which is another Mackenzie River airfield to the south of Norman Wells, needs to be reposted due to a terrain fault. FS2004. Texture sets only, requiring the base model of the GMAX MAAM-SIM R4D/DC-3 available from www.maam.org. Based on original textures by Jan Visser. Bonanza Air Services (BAS) was formed in early in 1945 by Edmund Converse, a former lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy; Charlie Keene, once an operator of a small charter operation in Santa Paula, California; and June Simon, daughter of "Pop" Simon the former secretary-director of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. BAS located its home base at the Sky Haven Airfield, now known as the North Las Vegas Air Terminal, and began operating with just one single-engine, four-seat Cessna. The company offered charter flights to several small Nevada towns but needed a place to promote its product. The trio struck a deal with the El Rancho Vegas Hotel and Casino to set up a ticket counter in the lobby. Bonanza Air Lines was the aviation pioneer in the western United States and proved to be a vital link in the air transportation industry. In it's 23 years of operation BAL growth continued up until the time of the merger. Bonanza will be remembered as a successful airline.

Package includes seven Aircraft models (wheels, floats, amphibs, skis) with 13 textures, a great flight model, authentic and awesome radial custom sounds, custom panels, easy-to-read clickable virtual cockpits, and superbly crafted exterior and interior textures.
This aircraft release is one in series of real world Avia aircraft designed by Czech engineer Robert Nebesar. The first was the Avia 51 and 156. This Avia 56 was a prototype that was changed because of engine availability, and became the 156. The next and last aircraft in the series is the Avia 57, a 14-passenger, 3-engine monoplane currently under development.
