DBWsim: Hickam AFB 2004

File Description:
The second DBWsim scenery pack for the Hawaiian island of Oahu follows up on DBWsim’s Pearl Harbour 2004 with DBWsim Hickam AFB 2004. This scenery pack covers primarily Hickam AFB in the west of the Honolulu International airport region, as well as a significant overhaul of the Honolulu International Airport area. This scenery is designed to complement DBWsim Pearl Harbour 2004 and is intended for use with (but will operate independant of) Bill Melichar’s ‘FS2004, Honolulu International Airport, Version 5’.

This DBWsim scenery for Flightsim2004 covers Pearl Harbor and Ford Island. This scenery fully develops the Pearl Harbor naval bases as they appear today as well as completely revamping Ford Island and includes such significant landmarks as the USS Missouri and the historic Ford Island Control Tower. This Scenery vastly improves VFR approaches to Honolulu International.

MH's FS Scenery Configurator V1.2

File Description:
"MH's FS Scenery Configurator" is a utility which can perform a lot of operations on the FS "scenery.cfg" file where information on scenery layers is stored. It can insert or remove scenery paths (layers), it can change priority of layers, it can search for a installed scenery etc. It allows easy installation of complete scenery containing folders by processing special batch files. This new version V1.2 corrects few smaller errors from previous versions and introduces two new functions to report scenery layer and BGL deactivation information to text file. Program can be used with FS 2004 as well, old version is not required.

File Description: FS Flight Builder is a utility for general aviation flying that will build flight files for FSX, FSX Steam Edition, and Prepar3D based on waypoints and other data either entered manually or imported from SkyVector using the Plain Text Link functionality. Among other things, you can select your starting position, aircraft, and VFR or IFR flight plan. One of the most interesting features of the application is that it will include a Briefing file, added to the aircraft's built-in kneedboard, that will include departure and destination airport information (runways, frequencies, weather, and charts) as well as navigation frequencies along the route. Have you ever started up flight simulator and wondered “where do I want to go today”? The new Destination Chooser functionality can help to solve that problem. The screen allows you to enter your departure airport and choose various parameters for your destination (like min and max distance, tower availability, ILS availability, runway length requirements, etc.).
