The airline is a member of the Star Alliance Network and utilizes a fleet of 346 mainline jet aircraft and 285 regional jet and turbo-prop aircraft. The carrier operates the US Airways Shuttle, a US Airways brand which provides hourly service between Boston, New York and Washington, D.C. JetBlue Airways (aka jetBlue), founded in 1998 as "NewAir", is the sixth largest airline in the United States by passengers carried and is a major American low cost airline. It is based on Long Island New York in the borough of Queens, but also has offices in Utah and Florida. Its primary hub is in New York's JFK Airport, and is the whole of Terminal 5. It also has hubs in Boston, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Long Beach CA. JetBlue operates a fleet of 60 Embraer E190's and was a launch customer for the E190. This specific airframe, registration N329JB, bears the slogan "My Other Ride Is a JetBlue A320". The complement aircraft in JetBlue's fleet is an A320-232 reg N793JB bearing "My Other Ride is A JetBlue E190" on the forward fuselage. In the last year, this E190 was the first in the jetBlue E190 fleet to wear the "HighRise" tailfin. The HighRise tailfin represents the New York City skyline and is quite striking. This aircraft is msn 433 and was delivered to jetBlue in 2011. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is the Version 3 model of the FeelThere Embraer 190. You must own a copy of the Feelthere E-JETS E170 and E190 V3 to enjoy this repaint.

Northern Pacific Airways 757-200 with winglets (for the Rolls-Royce model). This livery was made before Northern Pacific Airways began operations and painted their first 757-200. The renders published by the company of the aircraft were used. The registrations, American flag and other markings were also added to the textures (which were not shown on the renders) using references from other US Airlines. Northern Pacific Airways is due to start operations by 2022 and will fly between East Asia and North America via Anchorage in Alaska with an initial fleet of 757s (of which N627NP will be the first). Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS). Features high-resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low-speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. File Description:
CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip". | B17 Flying Fortress |

File Description:
The B17 is arguably the best known heavy bomber from WWII. Followed closely by it's direct successor the B29 SuperFortress it symbolizes the best of WWII's heavy Bombers. The B17 was one of the planes that barely made it into the war. In 1934 the then very small Boeing company had a prototype four engined bomber design called the B-299 but it had not been ordered by the US military. It had suffered several serious setbacks in it's design competition including a crash during a fly-off. Boeing continued work the plane and eventually secured a small service test order and the troubled early history of the bomber began.
The B17 and bombers like it were planes created as "strategic bombers". The essential idea was that a strategic bomber should be able to carry a very large payload for long distances. The military had come to the realization that bombing technology was by nature imprecise even with new advances like the American Norden sight, and what was required was a large number of bombs delivered by large number of planes to assure that a target was destroyed. Although the Germans actually had a decent "smart bomb" and the British built specialty bombs, neither was reliable, so it seemed the best idea was just to blanket the target with bombs.
An American extension to this concept was that of a self-defended bomber. Bombers could be built so tough and with so much defensive armament, it was thought, that they could simply fly to the target, drop bombs, and if necessary fight their way through fighters to get home. There would be security in the large number of bombers in formations, and the defensive capability would allow bombers to fly during the day for better accuracy in drops. It was to this design concept the B17 was built.
Early experiences in the war with B17's and B-24's could only be termed as disastrous. Loss rates of up to 25% showed the concept of unescorted bombers in daytime to be entirely wrong. Escort fighters were a necessity for success. It soon became apparent that with fighter cover the B17 really was an unparalleled strategic bomber. Success for the B17 shot up dramatically, and it's initial design specifications of huge amounts of armor and gunner positions served it well when fighters did make it close in. The Fortress had enough strength to stave off attackers until escorts showed up, and it became legendary for the incredible punishment it could take and still make it home.

B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2268, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #16. Pilot: Lt. William G. Farrow, Co-pilot: Lt. Robert Hite, Navigator: Lt. George Barr, Bombardier: Sgt. Harold Spatz, Engineer/Gunner: Cpl. Jacob DeShazer. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Texture, and Damage Files included.
