South African Airways Boeing 747-400 for retro AI traffic, with 14 variants utlizing the FAIB 747-400 model set. This package is optimized for FSX/P3D with DDS textures. A huge thanks to Brian Wheatley for allowing me to reference some of his painting to make this package, which ties into his earlier-period SAA paints available on his website (Brian's Retro AI). | PLUNA 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
PLUNA of Uruguay was owned by VARIG, and aircraft were often swapped back and forth or operated in full VARIG colors as needed. By 1998, the 707 had recently left the fleet in favor of a DC-10-30 leased from VARIG and used for multi-stop flights to Madrid. There were 3 variations of the 737; standard, VARIG hybrid, and a special livery. Raphael Rodrigues has painted all 3 and I will be uploading them to Avsim this week. Note that some of the aircraft are scheduled for long ground times in Brazil, likely as maintenance was done there. Textures by Raphael Rodrigues included for the FAIB 737-200. Also note that sources say the DC-10-30 left the fleet in 1998, which would suggest a VARIG DC-10-30 covered these flights. | P-47D 334th FS "Miss Plainfield" |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47C 42-7945 flown by Lieutenant Spiros 'the Greek' Pisanos of the 334th FS, 4th FG, Finschhafen, New Guinea, 1944. Born in Athens, Greece, in the suburb of Kolonos, on 10 November 1919, Spiros Nicholas "Steve" Pisanos, the son of a subway motorman, came to America in April 1938, as a crew member on a Greek Merchant ship. Arriving in Baltimore, Maryland and unable to speak English, Steve found his way to New York City, where he worked in bakeries and restaurants. As he earned money he started flying lessons at Floyd Bennett Field. In August 1940, he setled i Plainfield, New Jersey, his adopted home town, and continued flying lessons at Westfield Airport. He earned a private pilot's license and, although still a Greek national, in October 1941 he joined the British Royal Air Force sponsored by the Clayton Knight Committee in New York City.
Steve began his military flight training at Polaris Flight Academy in Glendale, California. Upon graduation, Pilot Officer Pisanos was transferred to England where he completed RAF Officers Training School at Cosford, England and OTU (Operational Training Unit) at Old Sarum Aerodrome in Salisbury. Pilot Officer Pisanos was posted to the 268 Fighter Squadron at Snailwell Aerodrome in Newmarket flying P-51A's. He later transferred to the 71 Eagle Squadron, one of the three Eagle squadrons in the RAF, comprised of American volunteers flyin Spitfires at Debden RAF Aerodrome.
When the USAAF 4th Fighter Group absorbed the American members of the Eagle Squadrons in September and October 1942, Pilot Officer Pisanos was commissioned a lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Forces. On 3 May 1943, Lt. Pisanos was naturalized as an American citizen in London, England, becoming the first individual in American history to be naturalized outside the Continental United States.
Flying his first mission in his P-47 "Miss Plainfield" out of Debden Aerodrome with the 334th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, Lt. Pisanos, "The Flying Greek," scored his first victory on 21 May 1943, when he downed a German FW-190 over Ghent, Belgium. by 1 January 1944 he had become an ace with five confirmed victories. On 5 March 1944, he obtained his 10th victory and while returning from that B-17 escort mission to Limoges and Bordeaux, France, Steve experienced engine failure in his P-51B and crash-landed south of Le Havre. For six months he evaded the Germans and worked with the French Resistance and the American OSS sabotaging the German war machine in occupied France. Lt. Pisanos returned to England on 2 September 1944, following the liberation of Paris.
Upon returning to the United States, Captain Pisanos was assigned to the Flight Test Division at Wright Field, Ohio. He attended the USAF Test Pilot School and subsequently served as a test pilot at Wright Field and Muroc Lake, California, testing the YP-80 jet aircraft. During his career in the USAF, Steve graduated from the University of Maryland, attended the Air Command and Staff College and the Air War College. In December 1973, after a distinguished thirty years of service in the United States Air Force, he retired with the rank of Colonel. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney

File Description:
FS2004 Dreamwings Design Embraer 145LR. Here it is, a Pan American Express Embraer 145LR. In Pan Am's Billboard livery as it was on Pan Am aircraft before closing its doors in 1991. I know Pan Am's Express aircraft didn't have clipper names but...this one does. I gave it the registration N798PA and title "Clipper Caribbean". Originally, it was the first of two aircraft under the "Clipper Caribbean" title. N88831 was the first registration on a Lockheed 1049 in 1946. It was lost that same year in Shannon. The original N798PA was on a Boeing 707-321CF in 1964. Model by Dreamwings.

| Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (KCVG) 2006 Update |

File Description:
Update to the KCVG-2006 scenery which added the new runway 18R/36L to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Based on some feedback, a bgl file which flattens the airport terrain has been created, thereby eliminating the bleed-through issue some were experiencing. There were also some minor tweaks made to some of the taxiways in the AFCAD file.
In addition, Nick Stavropoulos has updated the AFCAD file to add 185 gates and parking for Delta/Delta connection, COA connection, NWA/NWA Jet Link, UAL/UAL Express, American Eagle, USAir, FedEX, USA3000, Miami Air and GA parking.

File Description:
This is a fictional repaint for the 2006 RealAir Scout, Amphibian, and Tundra models. Fictional US Registration number as well. RealAir 2006 Scout, Citabria, Decathlon package required. The color scheme is 'Army green' with an orange 'nose' and black details. I have always liked the green military paint schemes with orange 'noses', so I created one for the Scout just for fun. It has a utilitarian feel and seems to fit the Tundra and Amphibian models well for 'bush wacking'. The American Champion logo is on the 'tail'. Repaint by Brian W Keske, created with the official RealAir paint kit.

CFS2 Grumman TBF-1c Avenger (Tarpon Mk. Ic) 2P JZ165 852nd NAS (RN FAA). HMS Trumpeter - RAF Fleet Air Arm. Painted over The B24 Guy's TBF Avenger OH Model. During the summer of 1944, this aircraft operated with the 852nd from the HMS Trumpeter in the North Atlantic. From April of 1943 until January of 1944, the TBFs/TBMs of the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm went by the British name of "Tarpon," and then reverted back to the American name "Avenger." | Panair do Brasil (Brazil) - April 1954 (FIXED) |

File Description:
Panair do Brasil was Brazil's flag airline and Latin America's largest
carrier from the 1940s through the 1960s. It began operations in
October 22nd, 1929, as NYRBA do Brasil S.A., a local subsidiary of
NYRBA, Inc. (New York, Rio, and Buenos Aires Line). One year later, as
the parent company was acquired by Pan American World Airways, this
affiliate was renamed Panair do Brasil S.A. It ceased operations
abruptly in February 10th 1965, when the Brazilian military government
instated the year before suspended its routes and alloted them to
Varig. These AI flight plans includes just Lockheed L049 Constellation
flights on April 1954.
