| Alaska Bush Scenery: Coghill Lake |
|
File Description:
Situated off College Fiord at the upper end of Prince William Sound, Coghill Lake is conveniently positioned for stopping off en-route between the Anchorage & Valdez areas. It's the actual location of a holiday cabin owned by the US Forest Service which can only be reached by floatplane, however I've added 2 airstrips to the area for extra interest. Coghill's main landing strip is sandy & partially overgrown, but has a good available length of 635m/2100' and some low-intensity edge lights. Ample parking for visitors is provided in a separate ramp area amongst the trees, reached via a basic but lit & signposted taxiway. Adjacent access by floatplane is possible using the small lagoon, as well as by College Fiord itself for larger loads. The other strip, a mile southwest across the river, only gets seasonal use by agricultural aircraft for spraying the local conifer plantations; its narrow gravel runway is slightly shorter at 588m/1930' & is a more challenging proposition with the surrounding trees and heavy brush all encroaching on the landing strip. Includes 2 versions: 1 for Eddie Denney's FS2002 mesh (recommended as this makes the airstrip profiles uneven), and another for both Eddie Denney's FS2000 mesh and the default mesh.

| YTTI Troughton Island, Western Australia |
|
File Description:
YTTI Troughton Island - ShoreAir operates Troughton Island airstrip as an alternate to Mungalalu-Truscott. It has a 980m x 30m unsealed runway. Troughton Island sits 6 metres above sea level on a natural reef. Troughton is managed by two people who spend one month at a time on the island. During that time they are almost completely isolated from the outside world. Although they are isolated they are not alone; previous occupants of the island brought in quails and children's pythons that were once pets that escaped their cages during a cyclone. Now there is a healthy population of snakes living off the quails. Today Troughton Island is maintained as an emergency landing area for aircraft that are unable to reach Truscott. It also serves as a landing area if Truscott is inaccessible due to weather conditions. The Bureau of Meteorology has a weather station on Troughton island. Mungalalu-Truscott aerodrome supports all the FPSO (floating production storage and offloading facility) operations in the WA and NT waters of the Timor Sea, while the alternate aerodrome at Troughton Island is 20 nautical miles north of the main air route to Timor Sea facilities. | Strawberry Fields Airport (89NJ), NJ |
|
File Description:
Located 02 miles N of Mays Landing, New Jersey on 220 acres of land, Strawberry Fields Airport is a private turf/sand strip. SkyVector lists the runway as 2200' long, but as measured during development it is closer to 3000'. In addition to Runways 14 and 32, there is a second runway that is not listed in the airport directory and presumed closed. However if you need it in an emergency the numbers are 03 and 21 (no starts are available for these runways). This airport is not lit and is best used only during daytime VFR conditions. The windsock can be found at the intersection of the two runways and is also not lit. You will be landing on bare terrain so have your mesh complexity slider set as high as possible for best effect.
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 003. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

| AIGround SimConnect Utility for P3D v4 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
AIGround is a simconnect utility designed to improve AI taxi characteristics at the airport the user’s aircraft is located at. AIGround holds the AI stationary on the tarmac after pushback for a more realistic amount of time before the AI begins its taxi out and optionally performs an extended pushback including more realistically turning the AI toward the apron. The AI will also perform control surface checks as the AI begin their taxi out. Finally, AIGround enforces better spacing between AI and the user’s aircraft when the user is performing a taxi-out or taxi-in. AIGround does this by commanding the AI to temporarily stop in situations that the normal P3D AI control program would miss. In situations where the user might want the AI to pass (e.g., giving way at an intersection), the user can flash the landing lights on the user’s aircraft (on, then quickly off) as a signal to the AI to continue the taxi. AIGround also allows the user to adjust AI landing and takeoff lengths. AIGround is designed to compliment the default P3D AI program and thus is fully compatible with any AI-related program that is compatible with the default AI program (e.g., AIG, Ultimate Traffic Live, Radar Contact, etc.). AIGround is also compatible with the AIFlow simconnect utility. AIGround is targeted to SimConnect Version 4.5.0.0 or later. AIGround operates externally via simconnect and thus makes no changes to the P3D sim. NEW for v1.1: (1) adjust AI landing and takeoff length, (2) option for AI to perform extended pushback including turns, (3) option to disable control checks (for compatibility with certain AI sets), (4) AI plane spotting mode only, (5) adjustable in-sim message level, (6) Periodic read of .ini file to tweak parameters more easily, (7) AIGround starts minimized. FIXES for v1.1: (1) output consolse sometimes froze, (2) AI cyclic stop-start, (3) .ini file would sometimes get confused reading parameter values having whites spaces.

| Contrail Smoke |
|
File Description:
Install this and make your aircraft emit a contrail smoke, just like some real aircraft make on approach to runway/landing in real life. This will work with any aircraft in FS2002 that has a smokesystem worked by switch in cockpit, or by pressing i on your keyboard. Not with aicraft that have an automatic smokesystem, but if it has both switch {or by pressing i on your keyboard} and automatic smokesystem, it should still work by switch. This will erase the old smokesystem smoke {activated by switch in cockpit or by pressing i on keyboard}, but not the automatic smokesystem smoke.

File Description:
Ladies and gentlemen, tonight,it is the honor for me to introduce FSpainter's splendid Boeing 747-400 RR ! You would feel why so real , so friendly for framerate . This is his magic! So I re-painted his B747-400RR to Cathay Pacific's. Today is GoodDay , so I introduce another wonderful job by my friend called hiro. He made possible two Flight Dynamics into one folder, one you can fly, one for AI. You would surprise AI aircraft's landing scene! This is hiro's one. Many thanks to FSpainter and hiro. I hope you enjoy them. Thank you.
