| FSX/P3D/FS2004 Saturn Airways DC-6B 1963 |

This is a repaint of a DC-6B in Saturn Airways 1963 colors. The freeware CalClassic DC-6B by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. Saturn was founded in 1948 as "All-American Airways" and, as a supplemental carrier, it flew cargo and tour flights. It's main business was with the U.S. military. In 1964 it got the authority by the CAB to operate tranatlantic flights. Then, in 1965 AAXICO, a major military contract supplemental, submerged itself into Saturn. Tragically, two DC-6s were lost in accidents in January 1967, of which one was fatal. Later that year, Saturn became a public corporation. The fleet by 1968 comprised of DC-8-61s, DC-8-55Fs, DC-7CFs and DC-6As. In its first year of Jet operations they got a 49% increase in revenue. By 1971 Saturn was the 5th largest U.S. supplemental, and in 1972 they received their first of 12 Lockheed L100-30 Hercules. In 1974 Saturn got into merger talks with Trans International, and posted its largest net profit ever with gains of $4.9 million. The two airlines' application for the merger was approved by the CAB in 1976. Thus, on November 30 1976, the company merged into Trans-International Airlines (TIA). This repaint is of DC-6B N90770, which flew for them from 1961 to 1964. Textures are 32bit bmp.This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. It should also work on FS2004.

| MAC Douglas DC-7C Package |

Thanks to a major investment in 1964 by some large Dutch shipping companies, the 1958 founded Dutch charter company Martin's Air Charter, proud owner of a fleet of two de Havilland DH-104 Dove, four Douglas C-47, and one Douglas C-54B, was able to purchase from KLM one Convair 340 and one Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas aircraft. On 27 February 1964 the DC-7C PH-DSO was delivered at Schiphol. In November 1964 and May 1965 PH-DSL and PH-DSC were also bought from KLM. A fourth one, PH-MAK which has not been included in this package, was acquired from Alitalia. The great advantages of the DC-7C over the much smaller C-54B were its pressurised fuselage, its huge flying range and its payload, which was almost twice the C-54's payload. It was a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From September 1968 till late October 1968, PH-DSL, all white with red crosses applied to the wings, fuselage and fin, flew on the Biafra airlift from the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf of the Dutch Red Cross. With the exception of PH-MAK which was sold to Spain in 1967, MAC's DC-7C's soldiered on till late 1968/early 1969 when they were sold. These are textures only. | The Mill Stucky Scenery |

File Description:
The monumental mill Stucky complex is located on Venice's biggest island, the Giudecca.
The mill, a majestic terra cotta monument in neo-Gothic style, was designed in 1895 by architect Ernst
Wullekopf of Hanover for Stucky, a Venetian entrepreneur.
In its heyday the mill employed 1500 workers 24 hours a day, churning out bread, pasta and biscuits and
becoming a model of its kind due to the technology employed in its plants and its strategic location for
transportation by sea.
The complex was abandoned after it was forced to close in 1955 due to competition from mills on the mainland.
Various attempts had been made to redevelop the mill, the most recent of which had been underway for a number
of years; the mill was due to be reopened soon. Redevelopment of this huge complex, promoted by the Acqua Pia
Antica Marcia association of Rome, which co-owns the complex along with Banco San Paolo of Turin, was intended
to make it into a miniature city, a big multifunctional centre featuring a large luxury hotel, a shopping
centre, a conference centre and a hundred or so residential units of various sizes.
But on April 15, 2003 a major fire broke out and seriously damaged the remaining mill structures.
The future of the complex is uncertain, though the initial reactions are encouraging: Francesco Caltagirone of
Acqua Pia Antica Marcia has said that he intends to start the work all over again, for he has promised the city
of Venice that he would restore mill Stucky.

Before and after World War II, KLM was a major European operator of the Douglas DC-3. The first DC-3, PH-ALI 'Ibis', entered service with KLM in October 1936. This made KLM the first operator of the DC-3 in Europe.
22 others would join before Nazi-Germany invaded the Netherlands on 10 May 1940 and occupied the country for five dark years. Those DC-3's present at Amsterdam-Schiphol, if not destroyed by bombs, were impounded by the Germans. Other DC-3's that happened to be elsewhere out of reach of the enemy found their way either to the Dutch East Indies where they served on the KNILM routes until the Japanese invasion in February 1942, or to England where they were leased by BOAC for the London (later Bristol) to Lisbon service.
Both PH-ALI 'Ibis' and PH-ARW 'Wulp' moved to England. Unfortunately they did not survive World War II. The 'Wulp' was destroyed in November 1940 when Bristol got bombed by
the German Luftwaffe. The 'Ibis' was shot down by Junkers Ju-88's on 1 June 1943 over the Bay of Biscay.
The repaints of PH-ALI and PH-ARW are based on the templates Mark Beaumont created for the MAAM-SIM Douglas DC-3 (passenger version), which were based on Jan Visser's original textures. These are textures only. You will require MAAM-SIM's great donationware Douglas R4D/DC-3 package. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

MRLB - Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport / Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I found that most stock airports in FSX lack a decent amount of character and realism and I've tried to fix that a little bit. The stock airport file for the Liberia airport was sub par to say the least. There were absolutely no parking spots for commercial aircraft and no terminal buildings.
I've done major reworking to this airport and added the brand new terminal, which opened several months ago, I hope you enjoy. Below is a list of changes/additions. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in Costa Rica!

"Pan American World Airways, known from its founding until 1950 as Pan American Airways[1] and commonly known as Pan Am, was the principal and largest international air carrier in the United States from 1927 until its collapse on December 4, 1991. Founded in 1927 as a scheduled air mail and passenger service operating between Key West, Florida, and Havana, Cuba, the airline became a major company credited with many innovations that shaped the international airline industry, including the widespread use of jet aircraft, jumbo jets, and computerized reservation systems. It was also a founding member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the global airline industry association.[3] Identified by its blue globe logo ("The Blue Meatball"), the use of the word "Clipper" in aircraft names and call signs, and the white pilot uniform caps, the airline was a cultural icon of the 20th century. In an era dominated by flag carriers that were wholly or majority government-owned, it was also the unofficial overseas flag carrier of the United States.
