FS2004 Scenery - Dover Air Force Base or Dover AFB (IATA: DOV, ICAO: KDOV, FAA LID: DOV) is a United States Air Force base located two miles southeast of the city of Dover, Delaware. Dover AFB is home to the 436th Airlift Wing (436 AW) of the Air Mobility Command (AMC), known as the "Eagle Wing", and the AMC-gained 512th Airlift Wing (512 AW) of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), referred to as the "Liberty Wing". It was the only base to solely operate the massive C-5 Galaxy, with two active flying squadrons (the 3rd Airlift Squadron, which now operates the C-17 Globemaster III, and 9th Airlift Squadron) and two Air Force Reserve flying squadrons (the 326th Airlift Squadron and the 709th Airlift Squadron). FSX native B-36 Peacemaker. Built by consolidated vultee (Convair) in the late forties, The Convair B-36 Peacemaker was the largest American bomber every produced. Development of the huge plane began in 1941. The Army Air Force wanted a bomber that could fly from the United States to Europe, drop bombs, then return. The prototype first flew on August 8, 1946. The first operational models were delivered to the Strategic Air Command 1948. Included in this file are versions, A, B, D, H, and J models. The A and B versions are textured in FS9 style polished metal textures. Includes a virtual cockpit based on the b-36b cockpit, with a few updated and modern instruments, and a full gauge panel on the engineer station. custom sounds taken from scenes in the movie "strategic air command."

File Description:
(FSX Acceleration)- Fly from Hill AirForce Base around the Wasatch Front, Near Ogden Utah. Fire Crew, Commander and Pilot are in Immediate need of extraction. The Fire has blocked thier escape route and they need help fast. Fly the AugustaWestland EH101, USAF flavor to get the Crew Out. Drop the Crew off near the Ambulance. Help put out the fires in a Specially modified Goose(Use your Imagination). Fly under 150 Feet over the East side Fires to put them out. Turn back to the lake and Kiss the Water to simulate a Water pick up. Enjoy the company, two other gooses are trying to put out the West Side Fires. Entire mission is in a 17-mile radius. A reward is given after completion of putting out the Fires. All 4-goals need to be accomplished to get the Reward. Enjoy, Many Cheers Ed O........:-)

| Get Tower View V1.1 |

File Description:
After landing it would be fine to have an external view (like the tower view) available for the instant replay function.
Unfortunately Microsoft FS leaves the tower where it is after starting the flight and it is a nasty job to locate the tower somewhere in the map view and move it to the desired position.
GetTowerView is a simple tool to adjust the tower view relative to the current aircraft position after landing.
It uses the freeware tool FDSConnection by Flight Deck Software (www.flightdecksoftware.com) (included) and the Delphi-SDK for FDSConnection by Alan Chan ([email protected]).
FDSConnection.PDF is also inluded.
The program was tested with FS2004 but may also work with FS2002.
New features of version 1.1:
- Added storage of custom tower view positions after landing in a drop-down list.
- Fixed bug: Current settings were not stored in version 1.0, when shut down via FSUIPC.

This is a repaint for the Aerosoft F-16 depicting Nellis AFB aircraft LV 86-0222 of the 706th Aggressor Squadron in the new 'Haveglass 5' paint scheme.
To give the jet a "Hi-Def" look I first painted these textures in 2048 resolution, then reduced them to Aerosofts' native 1024 resolution, and saved them with DXT5. However, I left a couple textures/areas on the jet in 2048, that way the decals in those textures/areas look sharp and not pixilated. PLUS, I painted the drop tanks and pylons in both Grey AND Haveglass, AND repainted/upgraded weapon textures in both INERT and LIVE colors!
I've included installation instructions for the CLEAN "C" model, but these textures can be used with ANY of the Aerosoft F-16 models (except the CFT model), so feel free to install/use them on those jets as well!

AI Flight Creator is a utility designed to create AI FlightPlans for Microsoft's Flight Simulator FS2004. Built in support for Traffic Tools. The most difficult part of creating a new FlightPlan is to convert local time into GMT (UTC) to have the flights depart on time, both locally and internationally. AI Flight Creator allows you to select any Time Zone in the world, enter a local departure time and it will automatically convert the local time to GMT (UTC) time for your FlightPlan. Also supports Daylight Saving Time (DST). AI Flight Creator also has the ability to filter FlightPlans and display only the Departures or Arrivals for a selected Airport. It can randomly generate Aircraft Registration numbers with a user-defined prefix. Also provides support for Weekly departures and Touch and Go's. You'll need a copy of Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools to compile your new FlightPlans. Version 1.7.5 corrects a problem that can occur when loading flightplans. AI FlightPlan Creator is a companion utility to the AI FlightPlan Utilities package (AIFPE154.zip) available here at Flightsim. The previous version (1.7.4) had 1611 downloads.

The field is newly included in the Canada Flight Supplement. Unusually for a grass field the runway has the numbers marked out in white; given that this is a private airfield that does not invite unexpected guests and has only one plane based there, and presuming that the owner can remember his own runway headings, it is unlikely that these will still be there in a year's time. There is no hangar as yet. To the west is highway 416 and to the east is the Rideau River, both of which run north-south. Lke Rockcliffe (which is to the north) the airfield is right on the edge of the Ottawa control zone, so you should already be below 1,500 feet ASL when approaching from the south and talking to Ottawa tower when arriving from the north. The runway is 07/25 and 2,800 feet long, which should be enough for almost anybody, and the field is at 315 feet ASL. Manotick is a mile to the north east on the Rideau River and the Rideau Valley Airpark CPL3 is six miles south in the bend of the Rideau where it turns west.

| B737 Head-Up Guidance System (HGS) Model 2350 |

This gauge has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator Acceleration. It should also work with FSX SP1/SP2 . The functionality of this gauge is based on the Rockwell Collins HGS which is designed for the B737NG . It works correct for FSX B737-800 models only !!
The gauge has been developed as close as possible according to the HGS Pilot Guide from Rockwell Collins for normal operations. The HGS can be used during all phases of flight from takeoff to landing. This can include Ground Roll Guidance, all enroute operations and either non-precision or precision approaches.
This gauge is very realistic. It supports the pilot particular during approach operations to meet always
precise the runway touch down zone by keeping a 3° glide slope angle. Even for a visual approach maneuver
the HGS supports the pilot to establish and maintain the aircraft on the proper glide path to the runway without reference to a ground based landing system like ILS.
