"DC10dfb_vFS9" Panel update - FINAL (File Part 1 of 2)
McDonnel-Douglas DC-10 (KC-10) Custom Panel for Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 (FS2004). Ok folks..... here it is! I think I'm ready to put this thing to bed. I have tested it on my machine and so far so good. It has been beta tested to the delight of them as well! I am pretty pleased with it and can't think of anything else to change or add.

Horizon attitude instrument on the early airplanes, thought to be reliable
Enough to stand on its own but according to Ernest Gann (Fate is the Hunter)
Did tend to fail at times leaving the flight crew with the basic needle ball and
Airspeed instruments. Later most airlines including KLM supplemented it with
A gyro horizon for the captain’s side.

Gryphon Airlines (Washington and Kuwait) is an unique American-owned and based airline. It was established last year to operate scheduled flights to Iraq. Since February 25, 2007 it has been operating scheduled public charter flights from Kuwait City to Baghdad and return. The company has added Gyrphon Airlines titles to a Global Aviation McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 registration ZS-GAU to perform direct flights from Kuwait to Bagdad. This 1979 built aircraft had been in service with Redwing AW, Continental AL, Legend AL, Southeast AL and Global Aviation before. Textures only for the AI Aardvark model.

FSX and FS2004 Canadair Argonaut & North Star, Ver 2.1. The Argonaut and the North Star were Merlin-engined version of the Douglas DC-4. A total of 71 were produced by Canadair. In Canada it was called the North Star and was used by airlines and the RCAF. 22 Argonauts were delivered to BOAC 1949-1950, and they later had long careers with other operators like British Midland and charter companies. This package contains most versions. Version 2 model by Jens B. Kristensen, Flight Dynamics by FSAviator, updated with improved detail and support for FSX Gold and FSX SP2

File Description:
These are sounds for the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engines as installed in the Douglas DC-6 series, which achieve a new level of realism rarely seen before. Each of the four engines has separate directional sounds, and almost all sounds are in high quality and fully stereophonic. I engineered the stereo sounds with professional editing software with minimal phasing and minimal distortion or what ever it took to make it more attractive to searchers of sound. Shutdown sounds & RPM engine sounds by Gary Jones, used with permission. Version 2 features improved startup sounds.
