File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas C-54A NL-302 of the Netherlands Government Air Transport, 1945. This was originally 42-72274 of the USAAF, which was bought by the Dutch Government in 1945 in a batch of 14 C-54's. These were converted to carry passengers. Although the aircraft were carrying military markings, they were in fact carrying passengers for KLM, among others to the Dutch East Indies. Since civilian aircraft were not always permitted to fly along this route immediately after the war they wore military paint. In 1947 all aircraft were transferred to the KLM and NL-302 became PH-TAD. It later flew with several European companies with registration F-BDRJ, before being scrapped in 1965. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

Gryphon Airlines (Washington and Kuwait) is an unique American-owned and based airline. It was established last year to operate scheduled flights to Iraq. Since February 25, 2007 it has been operating scheduled public charter flights from Kuwait City to Baghdad and return. The company has added Gyrphon Airlines titles to a Global Aviation McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 registration ZS-GAU to perform direct flights from Kuwait to Bagdad. This 1979 built aircraft had been in service with Redwing AW, Continental AL, Legend AL, Southeast AL and Global Aviation before. Textures only for the AI Aardvark model.

Branniff Douglas DC-8-32 Jellybean Blue circa 1970. Updated textures only for the payware Just Flight DC8 Jetliner series 10 to 40 with Service Pack 1 installed which changed the location of the windows. This file supersedes braniff_blue_-32.zip that is prior to the release of the Service Pack 1 update which changed the location of the windows. The photo used for reference was of a -62 series and this repaint reflects its "N" number. This is the first of the whole Jellybean color series that I hope to have uploaded in the near future. Enough to stand on its own but according to Ernest Gann (Fate is the Hunter)
Did tend to fail at times leaving the flight crew with the basic needle ball and
Airspeed instruments. Later most airlines including KLM supplemented it with
A gyro horizon for the captain’s side.
