Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya Fairchild FH-227D FAU-570 CX-BHX(C/N 571),ex N2744R Fairchild Aerospace.Scrapped at SUMU(wreck burnt in 1995).
Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya Fairchild FH-227D FAU-572 CX-BIM(C/N 574),ex N2785R Fairchild Aerospace.Delivered in 1973, this plane of the FAU Grupo 4 under the command of Col.Eduardo Aguirre was part of the Primera Misión Antártica Uruguaya(First Antartic Uruguayan mission)and landed at the Antartik base SCRM Teniente R Marsh the 28th January 1984.Preserved today at SUMU Brigada I.

With this file the island of Malta is not an island without villages and cities anymore (as it is in FS2004). Now it is an island with villages surrounding the airport of Malta (as in reality) and of course the capital, the city of Malta!

File Description:
Having spent significant amounts of time flying in the less-hospitable territories in the FS world such as Alaska and the Canadian Northern Territories, I've grown fond of the more rugged and capable aircraft which operate in these areas. The DHC-2 is the workhorse of the North. Granted, modern times have introduced aircraft with turbo-powered airframes and all sorts of electronic gadgetry to enhance airborne capabilities, but I cannot think of a single plane flying in these areas today which could fly safely with zero batteries and fuel.
The DHC-2 is a rock, and it was for this reason that I found it both fit and suitable to upgrade the already-included Bendix/King suite with a 2-axis autopilot, a fuel burn status gauge (worth its weight in gold in Alaska and Canada), and a red-light nighttime digital OAT gauge. REQUIRES THE AEROSOFT BEAVER DHC-2 FOR FS2004/FS9.
