| YCDN Corunna Downs Station and Old Corunna Downs RAAF (Closed) |

Corunna Downs heritage listed RAAF Base was a secret airfield located in scrub and spinifex country, about 16 kms south west of Marble Bar, the hottest part of the "The Pilbara" area of Western Australia. Not a very ideal place to have a tent city. Today there are very few reminders of the once busy airfield. One can see some crumbling foundations and half filled post holes. 73 OBU operated the Corunna Downs airfield which comprised two intersecting bitumen runways, now regressed and graded occasionally. One ran approximately north-south, 5,000 feet in length while the other ran approximately east-west, 7,000 feet in length. Both runways were approximately 150 feet wide. A 50 foot wide taxiway linked the northern end of the north-south runway to the western end of the east-west runway. Approximately 20 camouflaged revetments to disperse aircraft to minimise bomb damage were constructed at Corunna Downs. Permission is required for landing and there may be vegetation on the strip if not graded recently. No cones or windsock so be careful. Corunna Downs Homestead is also heritage listed and consists of graded strips and homestead complex. Start points are at the homestead and the RAAF base is to the west. Probably the most famous flying C47 these days, we even can say she is a movie-star.
Making a repaint which already exists is always tricky , people start to compare and gues which one is the best.
Be assured I do not like to see it as a competition.
Even more tricky is making a repaint based on a default livery wich comes with the aircraft ,
Normally I do not make paints on request , let alone one based on an existing default livery.
For this "movie-star" I am happy to make an exception.
Taking the default LES DC3 in its Buffalo livery to start with was quiet logic.
In the end not much of this original livery has left the way it was , shapes were changed , text reshaped and logos reversed.
Neverteless there are some lines and shapes wich I did not enterely by myself.
My main goal was to reproduce a C-GPNR wich comes as close to reality as I can.
Big problem is the fact the plane changed its looks so many times ( like all pretty girls do ) , its hard to tell exactly how and what.
Outside made close to reality.
Cockpit colors giving a C-GPNR experience.
Cabin, giving a Buffalo Air- feeling.

| Lago Twin Otter Canadian Forces SAR Package (5 New Textures Sets) |

FS2004 repaints for "Lago DH6 twin otter ONLY". (Textures only for Lago TWin Otter only)
I have now further improved my Canadian SAR T-Otters (for the Lago T-Otter only) and this update now includes a total of FIVE "NEW" SAR Canadian Forces Twin Otters. Tail numbers 13801, 13803, 13804, 13805 and 13807 are now provided. This will most likely be the last update as I have taken things as far as I can in terms of quality. To avoid confusion I have decided it best to supply the set of 5 Otters in one package. Every aircraft is new and will be an improvement on my earlier repaints or the CAF SAR Otters. The 805 is now a white as it should have been and not grey. A 13807 is now included in a different style and is in a mint condition. I have provide a graduated range of aircraft conditions so now you will have everything from a brand new Canadian Forces Otter to an old worn out one with scratches, marks, weathering and plain and simple dirt and smoke. You will have current aircraft paint jobs, in use today, and older out of date paint jobs. You will now have a bit of everything and get an excellent feel of the Canadian Forces range of past and present Twin otters.

| MedJet Beechcraft 400A - two versions |

MedJet (not sure if they fly the Beech 400 - in fact not usre that they actually have any aircraft... Websearch kept directing me to a world wide medical insurance plan... so they may use member ambulance services... but did see a couple of photos with Medjet on he side of Lears)
Two aircraft- one is an air ambulance the other for medical charter. In case you are like me and use panels with cockpit views, have included two "rear" views of a Beech interior... a rather "business like interior... non-posh ... found a picture of an aircraft interior that was an air ambulance - not a beech - "lifted the Air Stretcher out of the photo and trimed and pasted it to the beech interior to distinguish the two.. so if you choose you can do same for your panel.. I use the same panel for both with the different "rear" view ... just copy the panel and rename it .... in my case... I have panel and panel.1 - with one for charter the other for air ambulance... just make the change in the conifg file... texture= (for the panel) and texture=1 for the the second panel... takes up a bit more space on your HD... but not all that much.. depending on your panel size. | Papua New Guinea charts for FSMMM |

Re-upload. What these are: calibration files for use with Rana Hossain's freeware program FSM Moving Map (FSMMM) and the PNG Charts hosted by the AVSIM file library. What these are not: the charts themselves. In order to use the charts, you will need to download three additional files, which are much larger than this one: png_charts_1.zip (35mb), png_charts_2.zip (35mb), and png_charts_3.zip (36mb). Why not package everything together? To minimize file size. The original image files, which are quite large, were uploaded to AVSIM and calibrated for the payware program FSMap by David Wilson-Okamura. Within a few days, downloaders started asking how to use the charts with the freeware program FSMMM. New charts (which are quite large to store and download) weren't needed, just new calibration files (which are quite small). These were created by TERRY CARR, who is the hero of this download. To use the charts with FSMMM, first download all four of the files listed here, including this one. You don't need to download FSMMM again if you already have that installed.) Unzip all of them into the folder where you keep your FSMMM charts. Then run FSMMM and use the mass import feature. If you don't know how to do that, please read the manual or, if that doesn't help, Google is your friend.

This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47.

This paint depicts (more or less,within the limitations of the model and its painter) the C47-D ,118527 "Jiminy Cricket "
Historical Note:
"Jiminy Cricket" is depicted as it flew for the Sicily operation in improvised night camouflage.
It was one of the original 52 C-47s that deployed to Egypt with the 316thTCG in December 1942.
"Jiminy Cricket" was one of the first from the 316th Sq.
ATC, to visit Project 19, delivering worn out parts and returning rebuilt
engines to the RAF. It eventually took part in the invasion of Sicily,
where, the pilot, Sgt. George Quisenberry received wounds from German FLAK.
The shell destroyed the nose of the Aircraft, knocking out all instruments
except the stand by compass. Jiminy carried the crew back with nothing but
the moon and the sticking standby compass. Jiminy Cricket was repaired and
served through May 1, 1947, then was "salvaged"
The skin-set includes cockpit- and (freighter-) cabin textures as well.
Passenger-seats, luggage-racks ,airco etc.removed from the plane.( its a freighter now !!)

| Backcountry airfields for 19m terrain mesh in Idaho USA series 2 |

These backcountry fields are for use with the FSGenesis 19m mesh of Idaho; they almost certainly do not work without it. The six airfields are a follow-on series to the previous four, ranging from Stanley that has a village and airfield buildings of one sort or another and even a length of asphalt runway, to Bruce Meadows that has two bathrooms. The full list from northwest to southeast is Bruce Meadows U63, Garden Valley U88, Warm Springs Creek 0U1, Stanley 2U7, Graham U45, and Smiley Creek U87. These airfields compensate for the loss of airfield flattens after the removal of AF917150 and AF917160, but there remain some now-unflattened airfields I have not included here, whether for reason of the impossibility of realistically creating it (as in the case of Flying B) or just a total lack of anything interesting about it. There may be some more follow-on fields that are new, to the north of the original four; these six are all to the south. The landclass files either change forested areas, as in Bruce Meadows, or add a village, as in Stanley. Although these are stand-alone, the presumption is that you have already installed the original four for use with the FS Genesis 19m terrain mesh, and there is a correction for Big Creek where I missed spotting a lack of flatten in one area.

File Description:
This one is a special since i felt the RAF should be included. The weapons package is somewhat different from the norm. Panel from a Chuck Dome original.This one is in the markings of Capt Ann James plane of the 617 Squadron 'Dam Busters'. Sound from the default Learjet but sound pack recommendations in the readme file.

This aircraft piloted by Capt. Ann James and is armed for ground attack missions. The armament package is slightly modified from standard to deliver a hard punch to ground targets.
The forward 30mm turret cannon has been removed and replaced with a twin pack Oerlikon Blitz 10mm rapid fire twin barrel gattling gun with 1500 round capacity.
The underwing stores are as follows :
2 GCBU-67 cluster bombs with laser guidence
2 ASM-42 Lancer missiles with armour piercing high explosive warheads
2 ASM-43 Lancer I high speed missiles specially designed for use against fortified targets.
This example also carries 2 CASPER pods
The Combined Aerial SensorPhotographicElectronic Reconnisance pods are an experimental package designed to read and transmit in burst form, intel data collected on route and during battle.
They are completely automatic in operation and use only passive sensors

File Description:
This is the second of my two KORD AFCADs, the first for FSX and this one for FS9. Both add the newly opened runway 10C-28C and change the old runway10-28 to runway10L-28R. In this one, as in the FSX version. I use completely default objects, so no additional downloads of scenery are required. All Taxiways have been correctly identified using ADE9X and taxiway signs placed to reflect the ground situation as of the 1311 AIRAC Cycle that ends Nov 14, 2013. I added RNAV and CATIII ILS/DME approaches for both Rwy 10C and Rwy 28C you can select in the default GPS. In the default FS9 file for KORD runway 32L, which still exists, is given as an ILS/DME approach using 108.95, the same frequency as the new runway 10C-28C. I could not delete the ILS/DME for 32L (cannot delete stock navaids in FS9). It interfered with the CAT III ILS/DME for 10C-28C, so I simply changed the ILS frequency for 32L to the same frequency as for 14R. Please note further that in the 1311 AIRNAV supplement for KORD there are no approaches listed for 32L, so I deleted all approaches for 32L, but the waypoints for those approches remain in place (since they are stock navaids and, hence, cannot be deleted).
