Shuttle Abort Runways

File Description:
The shuttle abort runways are located all over the world, to land the shuttle in case of an engine failure. In this Orbiter add-on, all the runways have lights and approach lights. Also, each runways has its own VOR beacons, one for each direction. There is also a pdf file of NASA with detailed abort procedures. A recommended download is Atlantis MOD 1.4, that can simulate engine failures! You can find it also on Avsim. This is my second upload of the abort runways, I forgot to include Cape Canaveral, sorry.

Lake Renegade Update 1

File Description:
This is a minor update that fixes a visual problem with the pilot in external view. I also modified the elevator and rudder per suggestions by those who know more about the real Lake, and added a movable trim tab along with it. The fuselage texture has been split into left and right as requested by repainters. To install this update you have to replace the mdl and one bmp file. It is not a required modification, but I recommend it as long as you are comfortable with replacing files.

Douglas DC-3 Viewmaster South Pacific Airlines of New Zealand (SPANZ) ZK-BYD

File Description:
South Pacific Airlines of New Zealand (SPANZ) operated from December 1960 to February 1966, providing services on a range of routes nationwide. Formed by two ex-NAC Captains, the airline operated three of its own aircraft, of which ZK-BYD 'Ernest Rutherford' (c/n 13906) was one. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this model includes transparent Viewmaster windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound. Repaint by Mark Beaumont.

Olympic Airways Boeing 737-200 FFX/SGA

File Description:
This is a Boeing 737-200 model by FFX/SGA Repainted in the Olympic Airways Colours by John Orfanos ([email protected]).The aircraft is called Dionysus after the greek God!!! Its Registration Number is SX-BCE and it's one of the oldest aircraft in olympic airways fleet. It is mainly used in short-range distances and mainly in domestic flights, although it is also used for short europe destinations. It comes with the default 737 panel. It was repainted based on FSACOF This repaint was tested under both FS2002 and FSACOF.

AFCAD File for Bill Melichar's Version 2 Piarco International Airport (Fixed)

File Description:
This is the AFCAD file for Bill Melichar's version 2 Piarco International. I'm not sure about the taxiway designations so if they need to be changed, dend me an e-mail.This is an updated file for my previous piarco afcad which had a error causing no a.i. craft to be at the gates. This was due to the old terminal and the new one having the same gate numbers; FS used the old terminal's gates instead of the new terminal's. It was fixed by using the old terminal for cargo ops only.

N.A.F-86A-5 Sabre USAF 49-1236

File Description:
N.A. F-86A-5 Sabre USAF FU-236 ,C/N 91236, 336th, 4th FIG, one of the aircraft flew by Lt Col Bruce Hinton at Korea ,Dec.1950. Transfered to the 334th FIS FU-236 was shot down by the MiG-15 of Dmitri A. Samoylov(523 IAP, 303 IAD) the 24th Oct, 1951.The pilot, Fred Wicks was captured. In the same mission Samoylov had destroyed also the F-86E FU-682 of the 336th FIS(Pilot Bradley Irish was also captured).No MiG were destroyed this day.

Los Angeles Airways (LA Air) Boeing 737-200Adv

File Description:
This aircraft operated within the 1970s to the early 1990s. Flown everyday straight from LAX to SFO non-stop all day. When Air Cali started to operate out of LAX the takeover of Los Angeles Airways was a great starting point but the aircraft was stored untill it could be painted but the airline went bankrupt before that could happen and along with the other aircraft of Air Cali, this one is kept at Filton in England awaiting a new owner. Still in the American reg as N46478.

Misty Fjords Cabins

File Description:
Misty Fjords Cabins: These cabins are depictions of the National Forest Service Cabins that are located in the Misty Fjords of Alaska near Ketchikan. They are available for rent and are flown to by various Charter Companies in the area one of which is Taquan Air whose web site is: http://www.taquanair.com/ . There is an additional cabin on Hugh Smith Lake that is used by the fish and wildlife service. I suppose you could land on the beach at these cabins but it was designed with float planes in mind.
