If you find the red reminder messages about Brakes and Overspeed intrusive, this package contains a revised language.dll which will abbreviate these messages. This file modification will ONLY work with the ENGLISH version of Microsoft Flight Simulator FSX and was created in response to several requests. AI Tall Ships sailing on Long Island Sound - A gathering of ten vintage AI Sailing Ships near Fisher's Island, New York. This scenery features incredibly detailed AI Sailing Ships modeled by Ron Jeffers, Pierre de Rotalier and Mike Hill. The project includes a replica of the Pequod - Captain Ahab's whaling ship in the epic novel "Moby Dick". Eight of the ten ships make twice daily trips around Fisher's Island. There is also an animated naval rowboat which makes short demonstration runs daily. With one exception, all required files are included. This scenery has been tested with Ultimate Terrain and the FS2004 default environment. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple, illustrated instructions. Then sit back, watch the seas come to life and relive a little history. This package works very well with John B.Loney's Elizabeth Airport - 0b8_v1.zip - available here. Reducing FSX Traffic speed - an Illustrated tutorial
One of the more "interesting" enhancements which Microsoft introduced in FSX is the vehicle traffic which can be seen on the highways around larger cities and airports. However many simmers feel the speed at which these vehicles travel is considerably too fast and therefore quite unrealistic. One simmer has even commented that he cannot overtake many vehicles when flying low and slow in the default Cessna.
It is quite easy to edit the speeds of such vehicles and the process has been documented in at least one forum post. However I thought it might be useful - especially for those not accustomed to working with command line interfaces - to have a tutorial available which illustrates each step.

UPDATE for Magnetic Compass gauge with selectable DIGITAL display. I just discovered that I failed to include instructions in the original documentation which will allow the user to choose two other display options. This update (a short text file) will explain how to easily change the display to one of three slightly different versions. I apologize for the oversight. The installation of the original package - Digital_Compass.zip - is required.

| Dallas, Texas Love Field (KDAL) - AI Greyhound Bus Shuttle amd Scenery |

File Description:
Dallas, Texas - Love Field (KDAL) Shuttle Bus Service. This package adds a fictional Shuttle Bus service (using an AI Greyhound Bus) from the GA side of the airport to the Main terminal. It is designed to compliment the Sikorsky S-76C Helijet Shuttle service - dallashj.zip and s76_dhj.zip - available from this site. At the Bus Shuttle starting location, and along the bus route, there are a few scenery enhancements created with the EZ Scenery Object Placer program. All necessary files - other than the AI Greyhound Bus - are included. This scenery is presented not only as an interesting addition to the KDAL airport, but also as a “case study” to help you add the same type of service in other suitable locations. By studying the Afcad I have created, you will quickly see how it is possible to include AI Bus service in your sceneries using the "invisible” airport technique. Please unzip this package (using folders option) to a temporary folder and carefully follow the simple installation instructions.

File Description:
Washington State Ferries on Puget Sound. This enhancement places several simple, but visually accurate AI Ferries making trips on Puget Sound to and from Seattle, Bremerton, Bainbridge Island and a few other docks which Microsoft provided. If you have been to this area, you know how important Ferry traffic is and seeing them in motion helps bring the scenery alive. The model is of the Washington State Ferry "Klahoia" by Dave Robbins which I have modified slightly to work as an AI craft. This enhancement has been tested on the default FS2004 scenery only. A few technical notes are included if you wish to experiment with adding AI Ferries to your own scenery. All necessary files are included. AI Washington State Ferries on Puget Sound - UPDATE. This update adds two AI Washington State Ferry runs to the Puget Sound (Seattle) area. Added are the Edmonds-Kingston route and the Mukilteo-Clinton route. A previous installation of my Washington State AI Ferry package (ai_ferry.zip) is required. New York Harbor cruise - passing by Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge - featuring the marvelous model of the Circle Line Ferry, created by Ron Jeffers. This package includes a custom Afcad - using the invisible runway and taxiway technique - and a flightplan which has the Ferry cruising around the harbor every 1/2 hour. Each cruise lasts approximately 30 minutes. This enhancement has been designed for use with the default FS2004 scenery. It has not been tested with Ultimate Terrain but may work in that environment if the Afcad is adjusted. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions. Exploring Our World - Part 1. Canaima Park - Canaima Airport (SCVN) - Angel Falls, Venezuela. Visit the worlds highest waterfall (16 times higher than Niagara) - one of the Natural Wonders of the World!
This new package features David Maldonado's excellent Mesh of Canaima Park in Venezuela and a very special "animated" depiction of Angel Falls by Ron Jeffers. The Canaima Airport has been enhanced using EZ Scenery libraries. There is also an optional Lago sound file created by Lou Frost. A brief history of Angel Falls along with a suggested tour of the area is included. You will also find a flight plan for use with the FSNavigator program. This is the first of a projected series exploring lesser known parts of our FS world. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the instructions very carefully.

The Queen Mary II at New York Harbor. Using the exceptionally fine AI model of the QM2 by the Japanese artist Mitsuya Hamaguchi (Hama), this package presents the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal (home of the Cunard Cruise Lines) with the QM2 making regular departures and arrivals. Also included is a representation of the Cape Liberty Cruise Port, Bayonne, New Jersey - just across the river. An animated wake has also been added to the default Cruise ship seen in the harbor. This package is designed to work in the default FS2004 setting ONLY. This scenery uses several custom objects created by John B.Loney Jr. as well as objects from the EZ Scenery and RWY12 libraries. Complete details will be found in the instructions.If you have the Lago FSE program you will also hear the horn of the QM2 occasionally.
