File Description: Mesa Verde National Park is famed for its numerous ruins of cliff dwellings built in the 12th century by ancient Pueblo people called Anasazi. Cliff dwellings are highly defensible stone villages situated under alcoves (rock overhangs) along the canyon walls. The largest cliff dwelling in the park is Cliff Palace, which is the largest cliff dwelling in North America. Cliff Palace contained 150 rooms and housed approximately 100 people. Unfortunately you won't see the cliff dwellings from the air, because they are under the cliffs but you will see everything else like all roads, trails and facilities. Very little is known about the Anasazis and the reason for their sudden departure at the end of the 13th century remains a mystery. Theories range from crop failures due to droughts to an intrusion of foreign tribes from the North. The name "Mesa Verde" stems from Spanish explorers seeking for a route from Sante Fe to California. They named the region Mesa Verde (spanish for green table) because of its high, tree-covered plateaus. High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/GNB_West2.html . The screenies are taken from the high-res versions, so expect this version to be slightly more blurry. This file is an FS Navigator 4.6 flight plan which will produce a very nice guided tour of the island of Crete. It it has been written with the specific intention of showing off the highlights of Jacques Sylvain's beautiful Crete 2004 scenery. Some of these can be a little difficult to find: my flight plan will automatically take you on the following route, optimising the altitude for best views as you go: Sitia airport - Ierapetra (south coast) - Lasithi Plain (with windmills) - Knossos Palace - Herakleion airport & Harbour - Mount Idi (birthplace of Zeus!) - Rethymnon Harbour - Chania Harbour - Souda (Chania) airport. Thai Airways Boeing 747-400 'HS-TGZ'

File Description:
Repaint of Project Opensky's (POSKY) excellent Boeing 747-400 aircraft into the new livery of Thai Airways's HS-TGZ "Phimara",which was the 2nd Thai 747 to receive the new colors. Repaint is semi-photorealistic, ensuring precise accuracy throughout the repaint, and simulating what the actual aircraft looks like in Flight Simulator. Repaint includes 32-bit bitmap files for very high detail, a realistic amount of alpha for adding the perfect mica shine on her, the mips were removed so the textures are crystal clear and not blurry. Aircraft model features full moving parts including main wheel "bogies", opening doors, animated wingviews, night lighting and more!

Boeing's advanced widebody 777 twin incorporates more advanced technologies than any other previous Boeing airliner, and has been progressively developed into increasingly longer range developments. The 777 was originally conceived as a stretched 767, but Boeing instead adopted an all new design. Notable 777 design features include a unique fuselage cross section, Boeing's first application of fly-by-wire, an advanced technology glass flightdeck with five liquid crystal displays, comparatively large scale use of composites (10% by weight), and advanced and extremely powerful engines. The 777 was also offered with optional folding wings where the outer 6m/21ft of each would fold upwards for operations at space restricted airports.

Belize City N17.31.02 W88.11.48 and the Mayan pyramids of Caracol N16.45.48 W89.07.03. The territory of Belize is located in the southeastern part of the Yucatan peninsula, it is bordered to the north by the Hondo river to the south by the Sarstun river and is crossed by the Belize river. Belize is the second smallest state in Central America after El Salvador . Caracol instead is a Maya archaeological center, certainly the most famous site of the country, about 80 km from San Ignacio, is reached along a very uneven road. The archaeological area is extensive and takes at least a couple of hours to visit it and includes among other things the Caana (Celeste Palace), the highest pyramid of Belize with its 43 m.

Chilean Air Force Hawker Hunter FGA MK71A

File Description: The first Hunters arrived to Chile during October of 1967 to replace the Lockheeds F-80. A total of 40 Hunters were operated by the "Fuerza Aerea de Chile" and formed the Air Groups N7, N8, N9. In 1982, a batch of extra 14 planes (ex RAf Mk67 and Mk9 type) were bought and used for spare parts. The last remaining Hunters were retired from service on April 1995. This livery shows an Air Group N9's Hunter, based at Puerto Montt, a unit known as the Black Panthers. In 1973, Group 9's Hunters attacked in Santiago the presidential palace and residence during a coup d'etat. Textures only for Dave Garwood, Rick Piper, Dave Booker and Saverio Maurri's Hawker Hunter Export Version (HUNTPAK6.ZIP).
