C-46 Curtiss Commando - With Buffalo Air type VC and Failure Model Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
FS2004 Curtiss C46 VC And Failure Model, v2. For the C46 Curtiss Commando aircraft by Libardo Guzman Garcia, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson (GAC46V2.ZIP). This is my Version 2 and it supersedes my previous uploads (c46bflvc.zip, c46bflfix.zip, c46bfl_up.zip). It adds a virtual cockpit similar to the Buffalo Airways C46 cockpit as well as pilot induced and random failures/damages through gauges originally developed by Charles Owens for the DC3C (most failures) and by Robert Graf (carburetor icing and oil consumption) for the DC-6. These gentlemen together with Gunter Tesons RealEngine_v14 have really made flying piston aircraft a lot more interesting. The frequency of random failures can be adjusted between "never" and "certain" but you always have to watch the engine limitations, carburetor icing, and oil consumption.

Further gauges by other authors are used or have been modified or have been developed by me. Version 2 increases the number of failures (engine, fire, leaks, systems, equipment, instruments), and introduces an improved upper overhead panel, an abbreviated interactive checklist on the panel, and reduced braking in rain, snow and freezing rain. Version 1 is not required for Version 2. See the C46BFL ReadMe V2.txt for further details and credits. Required files: ga_c46_v2.zip, RealEngine_v14.zip and also recommended: The Project Tupolev TU-154M aircraft for the fully functional KLN90B GPS (PT aircraft available at: http://files.protu-154.net/). B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2261 for The B24 Guy's OH Download

File Description:
B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2261, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane # 7. Pilot: Lt. Ted W. Lawson, Co-pilot: LT Dean Davenport, Navigator: LT Charles L. McClure, Bombardier: LT Robert S. Clever, Engineer/Gunner: SGT David J. Thatcher. This bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Texture, and Damage Files included. Note the three windows in both port and starboard bulkheads. By revev. Enjoy!

Martin's Air Charter Douglas C-54B Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
On 12 June 1962 the four years young Dutch charter company Martin's Air Charter (MAC), proud owner of two de Havilland DH-104 Dove and two Douglas C-47 ("DC-3") aircraft, welcomed at its Amsterdam homebase the flagship of the fleet: the Douglas C-54B ("DC-4") PH-MAE. Until that moment the largest aircraft of MAC, whose main activities were on the IT-charters and ad-hoc cargo transport, were C-47 PH-MAA which was limited to the transport of max. 32 passengers and C-47 PH-MAB which had a large freight door and could transport a maximum of 3 tons payload. C-54B PH-MAE was a huge improvement since it could transport 70 passengers or 7 tons payload. The other great advantage being it range (medium distance). It soon became a very popular aircraft. With the arrival of the larger Douglas DC-6A combiplane PH-MAM in 1966, the days of PH-MAE with MAC were numbered. The C-54B was sold in February 1967 to the German operator Allgemeine Lufttransport All-Air. Around the same time Martin's Air Charter had changed its name into Martinair Holland and as such entered the turboprop and jet age. These are textures only. You will need Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30X.ZIP). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

AN-124 PANEL Download

File Description:
Hello to all you flightsimmers,...After I've been profiting for years downloading stuff made by others [and enjoying it very much] I thought it was about time to create something myself. For about two or three years ago there was an Antonov AN-124 parked at the Dutch airport of Beek near the city of Maastricht. Just before the aircraft was to be sold on an auction there was the opportunity to take some pictures of the in and outside of the plane. An opportunity I gladly took. Here are the results. I hope I did not offend anyone using their gauges because it's quite impossible to ask every individual permission for all the 210 gauges I used, but I would gladly take the opportunity here of thanking them for the use of them..........Please NOTE:I did not create any of the gauges used for this panel myself and therefore do not earn any credit for them or whatsoever...........Half of them for instance are of MICROSOFT [Copyright]....I tried to stay as close to the original design of the AN-124 cockpitt, however in some cases I had to alter some things due to the lack of available ID light gauges. Furthermore it was not always possible to see whàt instrument it was that I saw on the photopicture. Anyway ENJOY!!!!.

B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2292 for The B24 Guy's OH Download

File Description:
B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2292, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #3. Pilot: Lt. Robert M. Gray, Co-Pilot: Lt. Jacob E. Manch, Navigator: Lt. Charles J. Ozuk, Jr., Bombardier: Sgt. Aden E. Jones, Flight Engineer/Gunner: Cpl. Leland D. Fakto. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Although little physical damage was inflicted on Japan, that day, the Japanese populace was demoralized, as suddenly, the war was brought to their homeland. Texture, and Damage Files included. Note the three windows in both port and starboard bulkheads. Enjoy!

YKEB Kellerberrin, Western Australia Download

File Description:
YKEB Kellerberrin was modelled at the request of Councillor Cole. In this updated version, the silos have been added and the landclass for the town south of the highway has been masked giving a more realistic impression from the air. Kellerberrin is a town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, 205 kilometres east of Perth on the Great Eastern Highway. The railway line from Northam to Southern Cross was constructed through here in 1893-94, and this section opened for traffic in 1895. Kellerberrin was one of the original stations when the line opened. By 1898 there was a demand for small blocks of land in the area, and the government surveyed a number of 20-acre lots the same year. The area was gazetted as Kellerberrin townsite in 1901, and the government soon made more land available for settlers. Early settlers from 1890 to 1910 from Ireland settled in the area of Kellerberrin and Wittem. Their family name was English. A road was named after this family. The name Kellerberrin is Aboriginal, and is derived from the name of a nearby hill. The hill was first recorded as "Killaburing Hill" by an explorer in 1861, but in 1864 the explorer Charles Hunt recorded it as Kellerberrin Hill. One source claims that Kellerberrin is the name for the fierce ants that are found in the area, while another gives it as meaning "camping place near where rainbow birds are found" - kalla means camping place or place of, and berrin berrin is the rainbow bird. (repeating the name makes it plural) It also serves as a stop on the Prospector and Avonlink rural train services. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip
