File Description:
The airport was based on a Google Earth photo, and the buildings are not 100% accurate, but are reasonably accurately placed and should give a good feel for the airport.
The airport was based on a Google Earth photo, and the buildings are not 100% accurate, but are reasonably acurately placed and should give a good feel for the airport. Historically this his represents a period at the airport in its GA heyday before Heli One and the new terminal building went up cica 2007-2009, from when McLeod Aviation was still in the big hanger and there were plenty of small flying Schools about, to when the new Alpha Aviation building went up.
There is a fuel truck, a single small gate area for commercial flights (even though there is none in reality) and various static items around the field, including the old white dome hangars down the East end of the field (where I used to keep my plane. Watch out for a surprise if you are taxiing out to 25 or 30!
Enjoy.

| CYYN Swift Current Municipal Airport |
|
File Description:
Swift Current Municipal airport is situated approximately 8 km east of the City of Swift Current. It is one of those tiny airports where the default flightsim scenery has no resemblance to the real world airport. CYYN was constructed using GMAX and represents the airport as it was in the Summer of 2007. It includes nearly all the buildings at the airport, runway signs, the addition of fencing, and a rotating beacon. CYYN also includes a landclass file to better represent the terrain around the airport, at least as far as the limits of the default landscape will allow. The airport has a long history, being built in 1937, as one of the hundred-mile airports on the Trans Canada airway. It was greatly expanded as an RCAF / RAF station during world war II. Many of the wartime structures still exist but many are in poor shape. Two of the original three runways remain in service. The airfield is often used by 15 Wing aircraft of CFB Moose Jaw to practice approaches.

File Description:
By 1998, Aloha Air was down to operating 737-200s, having ditched the 737-300s and 737-400s that they flew earlier in the 1990s. The 737-200 would remain the mainstay of the inter-island fleet until the shutdown in 2007. Impressively, every one of the airlines' high frequency routes was daily. The arrival of the 737-700s and flying to the mainland USA would come a little later. The airline would eventually fail in 2008, after a hike in fuel prices and competition from Mesa Air Group's iflyGo! forced the airline into hardship. In it's history, Aloha opearted 63 different 737-200s. Some of them lived on as the company re-organized into the much smalled "Aloha Air Cargo" which is around today. The 1994-2008 livery on the FAIB 737-200 by ImpulseAI may be found on Avsim as "ai_aloha_airlines_faib_b732_oc.zip".Flightplans by Chasen Richardson as part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. File Description:
The scenery was made using the Airport Design Editor, ModelConverterX, FSEarthTiles, SketchUp 2017 an others.
Queen Beatrix International Airport (Dutch: Internationale luchthaven Koningin Beatrix; Papiamento: Aeropuerto Internacional Reina Beatrix), colloquially known as Aruba Airport (IATA: AUA, ICAO: TNCA), is an international airport located in Oranjestad, Aruba. It has flight services to the United States, several countries in the Caribbean, the northern coastal countries of South America, Canada, as well as some parts of Europe, notably the Netherlands.
It is named after Beatrix of the Netherlands, who was Queen of the Netherlands from 1980 to 2013.
The airport offers United States border preclearance facilities. A terminal for private aircraft opened in 2007. The airport used to serve as the hub for bankrupt airline Air Aruba, which was for many years an international airline. Before Aruba's separation from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986 it was also one of three hubs for ALM Antillean Airlines as well as a home base for Tiara Air until 2016.
This scenario was only tested on P3Dv4.5.

| CYQR Regina (Regina International Airport and Roland Groome Field) Version 2 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Regina International Airport can trace its history back to 1919, when Regina airport became the first registered air harbour in Canada. This virtual model of CYQR represents the airport as it was in spring of 2007. CYQR airport is the gateway to southern Saskatchewan, Canada and is situationed in Regina, which is the provincial capital. The airport is served by Air Canada, Air Canada JAZZ, Westjet, West Wind, Express Air, Northwest Airlines and United Airlines. The airport is named for Roland Groome, who was the first registered pilot in Canada.
This scenery is a re-upload of version 2 of the scenery, which was lost in the AVSIM hack. Nothing has changed.
This scenery was constructed using GMAX and includes nearly every airport and commercial building on the airport property. Beyond the airport itself this scenery also includes, as an option, the major landmark buildings in the city of Regina proper and those on the runway approaches. Regina City buildings are meant to enhance the realism of virtual flying in the Regina area.

With enhanced jetway appearance depending on your scenery complexity settings!
EIDW - Dublin Intl - Dublin, Ireland Dublin Airport is the headquarters of Ireland's flag carrier (Aer Lingus), Europe's largest low-cost carrier (Ryanair) and Ireland's regional airline (Aer Arann). Ireland's fourth airline, CityJet, operates flights from the airport. The current Terminal 1 building originally opened in 1972, and was initially designed to handle five million passengers per year. In October 2007, a new pier was opened to the north of terminal 1. This pier caters for the majority of Ryanair flights. In 2009, a new extension featuring new food and retail outlets was added to the side of Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is a 75,000 m2 (810,000 sq ft) terminal and pier (pier E) which provides 19 air bridges for aircraft and is capable of handling 15 million passengers annually, thereby allowing the airport to handle 35 million passengers a year. Using ADEx 1.50, aeronautical maps and Google Earth (2009) all these changes have been built into the default FSX airport.

| KLM Douglas DC-3 PK-ALW |
|
File Description:
After the occupation of the
Netherlands in May 1940 several KLM DC-3's got stuck in the
Dutch East Indies. One of them was PH-ALW 'Wielewaal'
('Oriole'). Although the DC-3 was operated as PK-ALW by
KNILM from 1 June 1940 on, she was still owned by KLM and
as such flew the shortened "Indies-route" Batavia to Lydda
(Palestine, by then under British mandate). On 7 March 1942
PK-ALW was the last civil aircraft to leave the Dutch East
Indies when the Japan invaded the island archipel. From
then on the aircraft continued its career in Australia,
first as a military aircraft and after the war as an
airliner, registered VH-INR. The DC-3 still exists (2007) as a static
museumpiece of the Queensland Air Museum in Caloundra,
Queensland. The repaint of PK-ALW is based on the templates
Mark Beaumont created for the MAAM-SIM Douglas DC-3
(passenger version), which were based on Jan Visser's
original textures. This repaint has not been tested for FSX
but will probably function there as well. Repaint by
Maarten Brouwer.
