DDA Douglas DC-4-1009 ZS-NUR/PH-DDS Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 DDA Douglas DC-4-1009 ZS-NUR/PH-DDS. This aircraft originally flew with South African Airways from 1946 till 1966, and a short interlude from 1968 till 1970, as ZS-AUA 'Tafelberg'. From 1966 till 1995 the DC-4 flew as a transport and later an electronics warfare aircraft with the South African Air Force, called 'Spook'. Its registration was 6901. In 1995 the aircraft was sold to Aero Air (Pty) Ltd as ZS-NUR. In 1995 the Dutch Dakota Association (DDA) purchased the ZS-NUR, christened 'Skymaster'. The DC-4 arrived at Amsterdam-Schiphol on 5 May 1996. In 1997 she was re-registered PH-DDS. Due to the extremely tight regulations in the Netherlands, the DC-4 returned to South Africa in 2002 as ZS-AUA on long-term lease, first to Springbok Flying Safaris, later on to Rovos Air where she is still current (2008). These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

Cunliffe-Owen Concordia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
In 1945 this little known (and probably unheard of) Southampton engineering works announced the existence of their CONCORDIA medium range 10 seat 'feeder liner' project which put it directly head to head in the same market as the DH104 Dove, the prototype of which had already flown.
The advertising publicity of the day described a very desirable, luxurious aircraft with a 1200 mile range. Designed as a DH89A Dragon Rapide replacement, as with the Dove, the operating costs would prove to be at least twice as high but an attractive modern metal airliner with passenger appeal was on offer!

In 1947 the first two airframes had been completed and were flying. In addition a production line of six aircraft had been laid down. These included c/n 3 for the Nawab of Bhopal (G-AKBF/VT-CQT) and two for British European Airways. Unfortunately, due to an inadequate market, by the end of the year all work was suspended and the incomplete airframes were scrapped.

SPHZ Anta/Comandante German Arias Grazz, Peru Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for SPHZ Anta/Comandante German Arias Grazz, Peru - a small domestic airport for which nothing more than a runway is provided in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add the apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport is served daily by domestic operator L C Busre and perhaps also others using small aircraft, but little information has been found on activity in this area. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. Miami MIA / KMIA Version 4 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is an update to the default Miami Int'l airport. It contains the new American Airlines North Terminal as it appears today. Also included is the new Star Alliance terminal J. Terminal J is very difficult to duplicate exactly, so what you will see is a basic representation with correct size and gates. All terminals have accurate parking assignments per the MIA website. The included AFCAD was extensively reworked to add Runway 8L/26R and associated taxiways. All taxiways and taxiway signs are named correctly, and the included afcad makes ALL RUNWAYS ACTIVE. This scenery was built using Abacus' EZ-Scenery program. Update: This update contains the removal of terminals B and C, as the new North Terminal has taken shape. The whole terminal has been rebuilt from scratch to look much more realistic. All gate assignments are correct per AA.com. There is also a brand new afcad file which contains all corrected taxiway signage and taxiways. Cargo ramps are also properly coded for respective airlines. There are several other minor upgrades throughout the airport.

Automobile Association (1959 and 1960) de Havilland DH.89A Dragon Rapide (G-AHKV) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Aircraft repaint for Dave Garwood's de Havilland DH.89A Dragon Rapide Version 4 only. This is my first ever aircraft repaint. Compatibile with Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D only.

Built in 1944 as NR693, G-AHKV (c/n 6792) served with British European Airways from 1946. By 1954 Sky Neon Aviation were flying the aircraft at night over London with underwing neon advertising signs. Registered to the Automobile Association in 1957, G-AHKV became the most famous of all their aircraft. Flown by former RAF Mosquito pilot Bill Lewis, she was used as a traffic spotter, monitoring congestion and incidents from the air. The prototype of the DH.89A Mk 6 conversion, G-AHKV had sophisticated electrical and navigation equipment on board. She was also an air ambulance, repatriating AA members who had suffered accidents or illness in Europe and dropping supplies to snowbound villages in Scotland. Sold by the AA in 1963, she was burnt at Birmingham Airport in 1969. Two variants of the livery are included.

Additional Flightplan Visualizer Airline logos Download

File Description:
This package contains +1400 addition airline logo's to use with the program Flightplan Visualizer (from version 1.22). All the logo's are in a special ".CAL" format and can only be used with Flightplan Visualizer. To use these logos you must first download, install and run Flightplan Visualizer (at least version 1.22). You then need to copy all of the ".CAL" files to the folder below, where "[UserName]" have to be replaced by your actual windows username: C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\FlightplanVisualizer\LogoCache In stead of manually navigating to this folder, you can also run Flightplan Visualizer and use the menus "File" -> "UserData" which will open an explorer window with the "UserData" folder opened. You then just need to step back to the parent folder, and then open the "LogoCache" folder. If you have AIG AIM installed on your computer you can in stead of this file, also use a new setting in version 1.22 of Flightplan Visualizer, and set a path to where AIG AIM stores its airline-logo graphic files

Iris F-16D VFC-12 'Saints' CAG Repaint Textures Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
These repaint textures are for the IRIS F-16D and depict US Navy VFC-13 'Saints' CAG #13 aircraft. I know the real CAG jet is a "C" model, but I figured the IRIS "D" jet would look good in black as well! I also added a BUNCH of 'custom' items to the jet to make it look more realistic. I added a BUNCH of little extras to this repaint to make it look more realistic. For example, I upgraded the wingtip missile rails for the CLEAN model, custom painted the GE engine nozzle to look like the "Pratt & Whitney" on the real jet, modified the weapons texture file so that the AIM-9's appear all-blue like they do on the real jet, plus the GBU's and LGB's will be "dummy/inert blue" as well. I also customized the pilot textures and added a mirrored/reflective helmet visor. Plus, since the VFC-13 pilots wear either Desert Tan or OD Green flight suits, I made textures for both and you can choose your preference.

Indian Air Force Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-27 Bahadur Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Indian Air Force Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-27 Bahadur. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-27, with just under 1,100 built, was a follow-on production variant of the MiG-23BN ground-attack version. The Flogger-D (and later -J), nicknamed the "Crocodile" for its flattened nose, was and still is a dedicated close air support and short-range strike/interdiction aircraft, comparable to the SEPECAT Jaguar. The MIG-27 has served in multiple conflicts in Europe and Asia. The MiG-27 entered service in 1975, was eventually operated by 5 countries, and is still in service in 3 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-2UB Flogger-C and HAL-assembled MiG-27M/ML Bahadur in a current-use stand-alone AI model/repaint package; with 16 models and 122 repaints. Original aircraft model, afterburner effects, flight dynamics, and textures by Michael Pearson. Please read included documentation for credits and disclaimers.

North American F-100 Super Sabre (Part 1) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
North American F-100 Super Sabre (Part 1). This aircraft, also known as the Hun, was the first of a long success of Century Series fighter aircraft during the 1950s and 1960s. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this cold warrior of military jet history, utilizing original source material from Jake Burrus. Going into production in 1953, 2,294 aircraft served thirty-five years in the USAF and the air forces of France, Turkey, Denmark, and Taiwan. The F-100 was originally designed as a daytime air superiority fighter (with all-cannon armament); but evolved into a capable light attack aircraft which served extensively in Vietnam.

An original 8-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This Part 1 package represents the F-100A and C in the service of the USAF; with a total of 16 models and 66 repaints. Original aircraft model by Jake Burrus and Michael Pearson, textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre. Please read included documentation.

Americana de Aviacion Douglas DC-6 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Textures for Tom Gibson's Douglas DC-6 - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download and install the latest Douglas DC-6 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com.

These textures depict HC-ARK "El Pinguino" (c/n 42865) of Americana de Aviacion. This Ecuadorian Company leased and later bought this plane in 1968 and used it, among others, for flights to the Galapagos Islands. This DC-6 was the 13. built and originally delivered 1947 to American Airlines as "Flagship Texas" renamed later "Flagship South Carolina". American AL sold her 1960 to Aerolineas Peruanas as OB-OAD-545. From 1964 onwards she was in the hands of some U.S.leasing companies and goes then to Americana of Ecuador. They used the plane until 1970 and then it was broken up at Quito after 1975. The Lettering "DC-6 EQUIPADO CON RADAR" should be on the nose wheel doors, but unfortunately this is not possible at this FS model. So I put the text on the lower bow near the nose wheel bay.
