US North Cascades Mountains and Northwest Washington Coast

File Description:
The files in this package completely replace the FS default landscape of the North Cascades Mountains and coastal areas of northwestern Washington State. Between Bellingham and Arlington (N-S), Orcas Island and Lake Chelan (W-E) you can now enjoy your VFR flights with accurate locations of coastlines, lakes, rivers, streams, roads, railroads, and power lines, as well as land use type (landclass) and terrain (add-on mesh). Also added are the larger glaciers of the majestic North Cascades volcanoes and peaks as well as several forestry roads and clearcuts outside the National Park and Wilderness areas. Made mostly with Christian Fumey's "Ground2K4" and Jim Keir's "Slartibartfast". Fully compatible with the recent freeware LOD10 add-on meshes of the western US. Mesh and landclass files will work in FS2002 but not the special scenery enhancements.

Bella Coola Valley Terrain Mesh and Scenery Enhancements

File Description:
One of the most spectacular watersheds of British Columbia's Midcoast, the Bella Coola Valley looks pretty boring in its default FS rendition. These files provide a LOD10 (38-m) mesh made from CDED1 0.75-arcsec data, a new landclass file, and accurate placements of lakes, rivers, streams, and roads. Also includes the glaciers of the Monarch Mt. Icefield and several forestry roads and clearcuts along the side valleys. Made with Ground2K4 based on Landsat 7 ETM+ satellite imagery.

Dumaguete Scenery Landclass and Coastline Modification ver.2.0

File Description:
This is the version 2.0 of my Dumaguete Scenery modification.This file complements Manny Tecson's Dumaguete Scenery for FS2002 and adapted for FS2004.This will improve the following: 1.Landclass from sparsely populated houses to densely populated coconut trees at runway 09 approach. 2.Modifies the present coastline of Dumaguete City to make the runway 27 end of the airport extend out to the sea. 3.Modifies the city landclass of Dumaguete City to promote realism. 4.Modifies rocky reclamation at runway 27 tip of Dumaguete Airport. 5.Modifies the national highway from perpendicular to runway 09 to diagonal. 6.Excludes the crash detection activated electric post at runway 09 tip. DEW Line Stations for Alaska, Canada And Greenland

File Description:
This scenery is meant to capture the essence of the Distant Early Warning (DEW) Line of radar and communications stations stretching from the Aleutian Islands in Alaska across the Northern shores of Alaska and Canada into Greenland. The package includes 78 of the DEWLine stations. The DEW Line served as the early warning system for North America during the years of the cold war. Many of the stations were built in the 50’s with others added in the 60’s, 70’s and into the 80’s. Most of these installations have now been closed. Many of the objects have been modeled from photographs. Where possible, site photographs were used to insure that the layouts were as representative of the sites as possible. They are, however, representations only.
