FS2002/2004 Colorado 2, Soaring Scenery.
This file came about because I wanted some lifts to keep gliders over Colorado Region, to soaring flights from Larkspur City to Colorado Springs City,Colorado,USA and so on.
It adds some ridge lifts to default Microsoft scenery
And it will be useful to everybody who wants begin primary and advanced glider flight instruction.
The lift begins 900 feet above ground level and the lift field is a North-South line which begins near Larkspur City North of Colorado Springs City
Installation:
Unzip MIcrosoft Simulator9.zip file inside Microsoft Games folder
Good flights end better Landings.

File Description:
This gauge, for FS2004, updates the drift meter gauge, published on 19 Jan. 2005. It is easier to use, comes with a panel icon, and has improved graphics. It simulates the drift meters used in the 1940's, measuring the drift of an aircraft off its heading due to the wind. In the old days of aviation, navigators had quite a job in windy weather. An advantage of the drift meter is that it has nothing to do with wind direction or aircraft heading. The measured wind drift is used to correct the aircraft heading to maintain course.

The airports include Johnstone Point (2AK5), Boswell Bay (AK97), Cordova Muni (CKU), Thompson Pass (K55), Sheep Mountain (PASP) and Skelton (PAZK). There are some challenging approaches once again. Includes AI traffic through Traffic Tools with modified AFCAD files and dynamic scenery with Lago's FSE. Rwy12 and EZ Scenery libraries required.

FS2004 SuperTimer2. This gauge has a dual timer and a clock that displays both Zulu or Local time in a 24-hour format. Each timer operates independently with reset, start, and stop features. Both record to 9:59:59. All eight buttons give a positive visual feedback when pressed. You can record total flight time on one timer and use the other timer for all other timing needs, plus keep the Zulu or Local time visible continously. Two installation options, panel or window. The port of Antwerp is the main seaport of Belgium and the second of Europe after Rotterdam.
The scenery is made with the Belg7000 scenery version 2.3, which is a scenery improvement for
roads, rivers, citys and much more for the whole of Belgium, as a base scenery.
This means the Belg7000 scenery version 2.3 from Freddy Bridoux, available here at avsim,
must be installed before you install Antwerp port v2.

(Update 2 - 3 January 2006) Not long ago I embarked on a project to streamline my flight simulator's AI setup. I knew I had too many aircraft texture sets that I was not using, too many unnecessary night texture files, installation of defunct airlines, and the like. So, I put together
a spreadsheet showing my AI system with all the airlines and additional pieces such as vehicles and ships. This has been a very large and time-consuming project as my AI system has more than 7,000 texture sets, more than 2,200 airline folders, and other assorted AI components. Inside you'll find an Excel spreadsheet with all my airlines (more than 2,200) listed, Birds, Blimp, Corporate Aircraft, Defunct Airlines, Douglas DC-3, Float Planes, Government Aircraft, Helicopters, Medical Aircraft, Military Aircraft, Personal Registration Aircraft, Ships, and Vehicles - all associated with the FS AI system. In addition, I've included the spreadsheet's source text files for those that do not have Microsoft Excel. NOTE: You can download an MS Excel spreadsheet viewer (freeware) from the Microsoft site. Because of copyright restrictions and the size of my AI system, I have not provided links to specific files. However, I think you'll find the data very useful. See the readme file for a list of possible sources and contact information. NONE: Changes since the last update are reflected in "green" text. Frank Bass
