Sproat Lake CAA9 on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Sproat Lake is in the middle of southern Vancouver Island, 6 miles west of the town of Port Alberni and 30 miles directly south of Comox Valley Airport. It is some 14 miles long and around the eastern shores has a large number of houses with docks and boats. Plus, in the offshoot called Upper Sproat Lake, it has the Sproat Lake Tankerbase CAA9, home to two rather large Martin Mars firefighting planes. Their history is interesting, and their capacity for carrying water for dousing forest fires during the summer months has kept them in use since their construction in the 1940's. They have finally been retired from fighting fires in 2013, having been first retired from military service in 1958. This scenery is made for use with Ultimate Terrain; there was another version made several years ago which either predated or ignored UT. This scenery is for the month when a Mars was being repainted before retiring to a museum as a military plane, date unkown but perhaps 2013? If it is a time when there were three in existance then it is sometime in the 1960's; take your pick. Because of hills adjacent to the lake the landing of the AI Mars may or may not take place, depending on wind direction and whether or not it flies into rock before landing. Take off and departure seem to be more reliable than landing on a daily basis. The Mars flies to Vancouver Harbour, but only in theory; it does not land and park as there is no parking available for such a large aircraft. The AI follows in the second post.

Flight Simulator First Officer V2 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Flight Simulator First Officer is a generic virtual copilot that can be used with any aircraft. The primary function of FSFO is to assist the Pilot In Command (PIC) to fly the aircraft safely while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This is accomplished via virtual checklist and sharing of cockpit duties/responsibilities. Specifically, the First Officer reads the following configurable checklist: - Pre-Flight - Before Start - After Start - Before Takeoff - In-Range - After Landing - Shutdown After reading the checklist item, the Copilot will wait to ensure you (i.e. the pilot) have configured the aircraft correctly before proceeding to the next item. Also, the Virtual copilot is capable of performing the following actions: 1. Call Vspeeds based on your input 2. Raise/Lower the Landing Gear on Takeoff/Landing 3. Retract the Flaps 4. Extend the Flaps 5. Manage the taxi/landing/strobe lights 6. Tune the ILS frequencies 7. Call Climb Power based on your input 8. Reset Vertical Speed when the Aircraft is within 1000 ft of the programmed altitude 9. IAS warning (e.g. Aircraft is above 250 IAS while below 10000 ft) 10. GS Warnings (e.g. Aircraft is above 25 knots while taxing) 11. Resets the altimeter to standards when passing TA 12. Engage Heading Hold on Takeoff 13. Engage Altitude Hold on Takeoff 14. Reset Speed on Takeoff 15. Engage Speed Hold on Takeoff 16. Engages Rev Thrust on Landing 17. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) 18. Over Speed Warning 19. Stall Warning 20. Bank Angle Warning 21. Vref monitoring 22. Set AutoBrakes 23. Loads Fuel/Payload 24. Random Payload/Pax generator 25. Plus much more! KSLC - Salt Lake City Intl Airport 2020, Utah, USA Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
I have been asked many times could i do an update for SLC, knowing there were going to be major changes there I held off until now when someone sent me a plan for the new terminal layout and its taxiways, so here is my interpretation of what it may look like in 2020. This is a version of Salt Lake City Intl Airport with two optional files and made only for FSX, do not use in P3D: There is one version with the Crosswind runway 14/32 operating where all 4 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default airport runway operation, The new south terminal A and north concourse B have been designed similar to the plan i have, i also had to take a guess at which airlines will park where so may not be accurate on opening day, as a Delta hub they are only assigned to terminal A, most other airlines are assigned to the north concourse B, transient parking is retained in the same place, the north cargo ramp and buildings updated, runway 17/35 is now parallel with 16L/34R which is also part of the upgrade plan, and the approaches for it aligned with the new position, all other approaches and frequencies updated to the latest charts where needed, extra fuel trucks, Helipads/start locations now in their correct positions, De-icing pads added, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements and objects added, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation,

Random Flight Database 3.5.2 Download

File Description:
Random Flight Database is a simple and easy to use application. It will allow you to randomly choose one or more VFR, IFR flights according to your criteria (type of plane, flight time, company, distance, departure airport, .....). These flights are chosen at random from a default database, a user base created by yourself or according to the world aviation POIs. A default database is already included, but also the possibility for each user to create his own database. But that's not all, you can also extract the flights of the day for an airport, or extract the flights for a whole week. Why Use RFD ? The advantage of RANDOM FLIGHT DATABASE: Extracted from FlightRadar but also from other databases, it chooses randomly among those where these databases according to your choices. You can also make many other possible combinations, such as leaving each time from the arrival airport for each flight generated, but also selecting your favorite planes and airports. Simply choose the departure airport, he chooses the arrival airport for you, choose the arrival airport, he chooses the departure airport for you and all this according to the real data of the airlines. A tab for generating non-real flights is available, it will allow you to generate random flights from over 58,000 global aviation POIs. Full of possibilities, including the possibility to choose the flight time but also to generate several flights while leaving the arrival airport. You also have the option of creating your own data for inclusion in this software. And one of the most important is that once the flight (s) are generated, you can send them to SIMBRIEF or PFPX to schedule this.

Madonna della Corona Verona Italy N45.39.64 E10.53.34 Download

File Description:
Madonna della Corona Verona Italy N45.39.64 E10.53.34 A sanctuary set in the Rock of Monte Baldo at about 1350 Ft in the Adige valley. The Corona Sanctuary is a place of silence and meditation, suspended between heaven and earth, hidden in the heart of the Baldo rocks. Medieval documents attest that already around the year 1000 in the Baldo area lived hermits linked to the Abbey of San Zeno in Verona and that at least from the second half of 1200 there existed a monastery and a chapel dedicated to S. Maria di Montebaldo accessible through a narrow and dangerous path in the rock. During the sixteenth century the two access stairs still visible were made: the widest, of 556 steps, which from the source of Spiazzi, then called "Fonte dell'Indipendenza", descended to the bridge of the lime tree, and the narrower one, of 234 steps, carved into the rock along the original narrow path that led from the bridge to the church. In 1974 the architect Guido Tisato was entrusted with the task of drawing up a project for a global intervention that envisaged the demolition of the existing Church, the preservation of the most valid and significant parts and the construction of a broader structure. Demolition and reconstruction of the Sanctuary were carried out between 1975 and 1978 and on June 4, 1978 the Bishop Giuseppe Carraro was able to proceed with the dedication of the new Sanctuary and the new altar. In 1982 the sanctuary was given the title "minor basilica". On April 17, 1988, Pope John Paul II visited and prayed to Our Lady of the Crown. Important VFR point for approaching airport Verona Villafranca e Verona Bosco Mantico. Within the downloaded package you will find readme files for scenery installatio, photos of site an flight plan. Good fly VFR. Pasquale Marrulli.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX (BF273) RAF Special Service Flight Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, in the colors of Spitfire IXc BF273 was one of the Spitfires modified for high altitude interceptions, based at Northolt, 1942, and regularly flown by F/O Prince Emanuel Galtzine. The prince was a Russian immigrant, a great grandson of Tsar Paul 1. After the Russian revolution, his family fled Russia, ending up in England. He wanted to fly, and when the Russian attacked Finland, he decided to join the Finnish Air Force. However, on hearing his mother was killed in the London blitz, he returned to the uK (via the US and Canada) and joined the RAF, becoming a Spitfire pilot with the Special Service Flight in Northolt. On 12 spetember 1942, he intercepted a JU-86 above Southhampton at 41.000ft and attacked it. The battle went up to 43.000 ft, and was the highest recorded air battle of WWII. His spitfire only had two cannons, and one of them was frozen solid, giving a very unbanaced flight while shooting, combined with excessive vapor trails of his ammunition. It is believe he manged to hit the german aircraft, but in the end it got away safely. However, since the Germans now knew they could be intercepted, they launched no more high altitue attacks on the UK. This paint was included in the original package, but I wasn't happy with the colour, so I redid it completely in what I believe is the correct tint of PRU Blue. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom

KLM Douglas DC-3 pre-war Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Re-upload. FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-3 pre-war textures.

Before and after World War II, KLM was a major European operator of the Douglas DC-3. The first DC-3, PH-ALI 'Ibis', entered service with KLM in October 1936. This made KLM the first operator of the DC-3 in Europe.
22 others would join before Nazi-Germany invaded the Netherlands on 10 May 1940 and occupied the country for five dark years. Those DC-3's present at Amsterdam-Schiphol, if not destroyed by bombs, were impounded by the Germans. Other DC-3's that happened to be elsewhere out of reach of the enemy found their way either to the Dutch East Indies where they served on the KNILM routes until the Japanese invasion in February 1942, or to England where they were leased by BOAC for the London (later Bristol) to Lisbon service.
Both PH-ALI 'Ibis' and PH-ARW 'Wulp' moved to England. Unfortunately they did not survive World War II. The 'Wulp' was destroyed in November 1940 when Bristol got bombed by the German Luftwaffe. The 'Ibis' was shot down by Junkers Ju-88's on 1 June 1943 over the Bay of Biscay.

The repaints of PH-ALI and PH-ARW are based on the templates Mark Beaumont created for the MAAM-SIM Douglas DC-3 (passenger version), which were based on Jan Visser's original textures. These are textures only. You will require MAAM-SIM's great donationware Douglas R4D/DC-3 package. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

B-24 USAAF 489th BG "Sharon D" Download

File Description:
This Ford-built B-24H was assigned to Lt Col Leon Vance, deputy commander of the 489th BG. It was Vance who had brought the aircraft from the US to Halesworth. The bomber was named after its pilot’s infant daughter Sharon, who had been born in 1942. Lt Col Vance was flying a different aircraft on the 5 June 1944 mission against a German coastal defence complex near Wimereaux, France-a mission in which the latter aircraft was lost, and for which Vance was awarded the Medal of Honor. He was the only B-24 crew member in the Eighth Air Force accorded this distinction whilst flying a mission from the UK. Vance was heading home to recover from combat wounds when he went down on a C-54 Skymaster carrying wounded and crippled veterans over the North Atlantic on 26 July 1944. In October 1946, at the age of four, Sharon Vance travelled via US Army Air Forces transport to Enid, Oklahoma (now home of Vance Air Force Base), for a ceremony in which Maj Gen James P Hodges gave her the Medal of Honor awarded to her father. Today, daughter Sharon Kiernan of San Diego, California, is an Air Force wife, and she helps to keep alive the memory of her father, and of the bomber named after her. The Sharon D retained its nickname throughout the war, and was eventually transferred to the 445th BG. It survived the conflict, and was eventually broken up for scrap. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for the AlphaSim 2008 Consolidated B-24 Liberator

Those are the aircrafts of the extinct mexican airline "Lineas Aereas Azteca", the Boeing 737-700 fleet pack contain the next aircrafts with the registrations: N160CK, N815PG, N966PG, XA-AEP (With Website included), XA-AEQ (With Website included), XA-TWF (With Website included). Líneas Aéreas Azteca was an airline based in Mexico City, Mexico. It operated domestic scheduled services and international services to the USA. Its main base was Mexico City International Airport, with a hub at General Abelardo L. Rodríguez International Airport, Tijuana. The airline was established on 9 May 2000 and started operations on 1 June 2000, operating domestic services with Boeing 737 aircraft. It started up after TAESA closed down and some of the staff and assets were taken over. The airline's operations were suspended by the government in March 2007 due to safety problems, and in October 2007 the Mexican government permanently revoked its air operator's certificate because the company hadn't solved those problems. On 10 October 2007, the General Civil Aeronautics Directorship (DGAC) of Mexico's Communications and Transport Secretariat permanently revoked Líneas Aéreas Azteca's air operator's certificate, because the airline did not have a sound financial statement after the previous suspension. The fleet consisted in 6 Boeing 737-300 (XA-AAU, XA-AAV, XA-CAS, XA-TWG, XA-UCL, XA-UCP), 3 Boeing 737-700 (XA-AEP, XA-AEQ, XA-TWF), and 1 Bombardier Learjet 31 (XA-OLE).
