File Description:
Known originally as Naval Air Station Sunnyvale after its christening in 1933, Moffett Field was renamed in 1942 in honor of Rear Admiral W.A. Moffett a founder of the Navy's Lighter than air program. By this time the LTA program had been reduced to the use of smaller dirigibles for scouting and anti-submarine work but the airfield remained immensely important as a fixed-wing facility due to it's strategic location between Seattle and San Diego. The Ames Research Center established before the war also blossomed into a major post-war aeronautical research and development center due in part to its highly advanced wind tunnel facilities. After the Second World War, Moffett Field developed into a West Coast hub for Patrol and ASW operations against encroaching Soviet missile boats. The NASA presence at Moffett began as early as 1939 with the establishment of the Aames Research Facility and evolving into the sophisticated R&D complex it is today. This particular scenery package attempts to represent the base more or less as it is today.

| Severe Engine Fire Effects for FS2004 |

File Description:
These effects files (activated by the smoke system) allow you to visually simulate a severe engine fire on the eighteen default aircraft, as well as six non-default, freeware add-on aircraft including Milton Shupe's Beechcraft D-18s and Howard 500, Edward Cook's Vickers Wellington, Bob Chicilo's A6M2 Zero and TBF-1 Avenger (default CFS2 aircraft updated for use in FS9), and Gary Herbert's B-17G "Lazy Lucy". Using easy to Wizard - FSM can install aircraft, panels, textures and scenery directly from distribution ZIP files you may have downloaded, with proper uninstallation of add-ons. From an easy to use Aircraft editor to add or remove aircraft variants, to an comprehensive Hangar management allows you to manage and configure your add-ons off your live FS installation.
You can now create Virtual Fleets, and enable/disable the complete fleet with ease. For serious pilots, FSM also offers a complete Logbook.
Lan View feature allows you to create virtual cockpits with multiple monitor support, using networked PCs.
With FSM, you can create Texture Sets - i.e.. different Tree Sets, and you can install any set with a single click, capture screenshots from Flight Simulator, Benchmark with log, launch it with Random Splash Screens, and fly from anywhere in the world using an map view.
You can also control Flight Simulator with speech commands using FSM. It also supports auto-saving flight, warning sytem, and custom event sounds.
Finally with a comprehensive Diagnostic Tools and Repository feature, FSM keeps your FS installation clean.
