Keflavik International Airport BIKF Single-Layer AFCAD

File Description:
This sinlge-layer AFCAD file, named BIKFBB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for the Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik, Iceland. It adds as many gates as possible to the airport. The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is BIKF and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-1, Medium-2, Small-4, Express-0, GA-5. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file BIKFBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.

Seattle Tacoma Inter. Airport (New Control Tower)

File Description:
KSEA, Seattle Tacoma International Airport has been undergoing a transformation over the past three years which includes updating many of the terminals,a new hanger facility for Northwest Airlines, resturants,shops,and a Third runway. This includes as well a new Control Tower to replace the current tower which has been in use for over forty years. These trasformation will bring Sea-Tac into the 21st centry. I decided as a challenge as well as a starter scenery design project to create the new control tower as an update for the KSEA scenery.This tower is scheduled to start 1/4 operations before Christmas 2002 and fulltime operations by May 2003. It is my hope to redesign the entire KSEA Cargo Ramp in the comming future.

METAR Update Of The METAR Weather Program

File Description:
Update of the Free METAR program with new features and bug's corrected. New features: 1. I improved the temperature aloft settings. This also should give better cloud settings, esp. the cloud high is now computed out of temperature and other data. 2. No more 'weather update' messages 3. If the needed stations files not there, the program shouldn't crash anymore 4. The .reg file shouldn't be needed anymore 5. Both free METAR and WindsAloft Servers are used. To save time, the Server with the smaller files is used first. Only if this server failed the other is used. 6. The choice to get METAR text message of the nearest airport in FS9 is implemented. The message is updated every time the FS2k4METAR program updates the weather.

Update for Nemeth's Mil Mi-2 Helicopter

File Description:
This file has been designed to update and improve the default panels for the payware Nemeth Mil MI-2 helicopter. Although this is an 'unofficial' update file I have recieved permission from Nemeth Design to post this file on freeware sites. The following issues have been addressed : 1. Added separate throttle controls to all 2D startup panels. (Required to increase RPM beyond 60% after initial start) The Military and Passenger panels also have these on the IFR panel. 2. Fixed transparency issues on some 2D sub-panels and switch bitmaps. 3. Added Attitude Indicator cage/un-cage switch to 2D main and 2D IFR panels (all versions) 4. Replaced missing switches on 2D IFR panel (Passenger version) 5. Fixed erroneous 'ToolTip' on com radios.

A63 Intruder va-34

File Description:
This Grumman A6E Invader is in the squadron markings of the U.S. Navy's VA-34 Blue Blasters. In September 1970 VA-34 put to sea for an Operational Readiness Inspection (ORI) aboard USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67) as part of Carrier Air Wing ONE (CVW 1). Events in the Middle East necessitated an unexpected sortie of CV 67 and her Air Wing to the Mediterranean in the summer of 1970. The squadron returned home in March 1971 from this unscheduled deployment, only one year old, but already in possession of the Meritorious Unit Commendation. In August 1971, VA-34 received the Battle "E" award as the Atlantic Fleet's top A-6 squadron. Textures only. Rick Sasala's a-6e2k2.zip is required.

Central America

File Description:
Gate and facilities data for Central America as well as a reissue of the airports in my Part 1 release. In this set we have all of the major airports in Central America as well as updates to the airports in my first release. I did as good a job as possible to make it realistic. Granted, it won't be 100% perfect since the ramp and terminal areas MS designed may not match the real airport completely so some airports didn't have the physical space in the sim to provide room for all the real gates but for the most part it is very accurate down to gate numbers. Airports include GCM, PAP, PLS, BZE, GUA, CUN, SAP, TGU, SAL, MGA, LIR, SJO and PTY.
