| Sachs Harbour CYSY in Northwest Territories, Canada |

Sachs Harbour is on the southwest coast of Banks Island on the north side of Amundsen Gulf, around 240 miles northeast of Tuktoyaktuk and 180 miles northwest of Ulukhaktok. The village is the only permanent settlement on the island, and is located where it is to benefit from the harbour shelter provided by offshore land. The population is only 130 or so folks, who live on hunting and fishing with some tourism. One claim to fame is that the island is home to threequarters of the world's population of muskoxen and the second is the largest goose colony in North America. The airfield is on the plateau just above the village at 282 feet ASL. The gravel runway 084T/264T (true bearings in Northern Domestic Airspace) is 4,000' long and 100' wide and lit. The apron is on the south side at the centre of the runway and there is a new terminal building; there is JetA fuel available and perhaps 100LL in drums. To the west of the airfield are the deserted buildings of what was once a Department Of Transport weather station. Aklak Airlines flights (operated by Kenn Borek) fly to Sachs Harbour from Inuvik three times a week in summer and twice a week at other times; the AI will be included in the post of a revised Aklavik, and Inuvik revised and Tuktoyaktuk should be fully installed BEFORE Sachs Harbour.

B58 Hustler v1.0 for X-Plane 6.40/6.51 - development of the B58 began in 1951 with 161 planes delivered to SAC between 1960 and 1970. Americas first supersonic jet bomber (mach 2+) the B58 was designed for high speed delivery of nuclear or conventional weapons from long range as a compliment to the B52 subsonic bomber. One of the most sophisticated planes ever developed, the B58 set many speed and altitude records some of which remain unbroken today. With a gross takeoff weight of 163000 lbs the B58 could cary as much as 101000 lbs of fuel (that's almost 60% of the gross weight). One of the most computerized aircraft ever built, the B58 is amazingly easy to fly without any computer assistance (except the one used to run the x-plane simulator). Kuujjuaq is in northern Quebec at the southern end of Ungava Bay, and 30 miles up the Koksoak River. Kuujjuaq has a population of around 2,400; it was previously called Fort Chimo and in 1830 there was a Hudson Bay trading post established close by, but on the other bank of the river. A nursing station and a school were established in 1948 and the Hudson Bay post moved across the river to the current location. The airport is to the south of the town and, unusally for northern airfields, has two runways. The asphalt runway is 6,000 feet long and aligned 07/25, and the gravel runway is 5,000 feet long and aligned 13/31; 07 has ILS. There is fuel available, both 100LL and JetA, but the 100LL will be in drums and you are required to have your own pump. There are numerous flights that stop at Kuujjuaq; the AI included here has Air Creebec, First Air, Wasaya Airways, and Air Inuit (Kuujjuaq is a maintenance centre for Air Inuit) plus private flights by various aircraft. There is also a flight by my poor representation of a Helicopter Transport Services chopper. There is a float base on the nearby Stewart Lake during the summer months. The base is within the Kuujjuaq control zone, and normally you would talk to the tower and inform them of your intentions, but in FS9 this cannot be replicated.

Norwegian Air Shuttle operates "long-haul" flights to Asia and the United States through two fully owned subsidiaries, Norwegian Long Haul AS and Norwegian Air International Limited. The two subsidiaries operate Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Norwegian Long Haul is registered in Norway, and is managed by Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA from its head office at Fornebu. Norwegian Air International is registered in Ireland and has its head office in Dublin. Norwegian Long Haul does not operate any own routes, but instead its capacity is used to operate the routes of parent company Norwegian Air Shuttle to Asia and North America.

Heinkel P-1079, a new twin-jet fighter project of the Heinkel Aircraft Construction Corp. was designed in five variations, all under the same designation.
The first of these advanced designs, the Heinkel P-1078A was basically developed as a two-seated nightfighter. The pilot and the gunner/navigator were sitting in tandem position. The wings were swept back 35 degrees, mounted to mid-fuselage. The tail had a V-shaped rudder. The armament were three Rheinmetall-Borsig MK 108 30mm cannons in the nose and 24 R4-M 'Orkan' high explosive rockets on two racks mounted under the wings. Another feature of armament was the so-called 'schraege musik' with four upward-firing 20 mm Mauser MG 151/20 autocannons, mounted in the back of the aircraft. Therefore, the nightfighter had to approach and attack bombers from below, guided into position by commands from the navigator.
The aircraft should be equipped with the new FUG 228 radar unit. This sophisticated radar would have empowered the aircraft with an almost all-weather ability.
The engines were located in the wing roots. This version should be fitted with two Junkers Jumo 004D turbojet engines with two-stage fuel injector, each with 8.8 kN of power.
The Max. speed was about Mach 0.89 = 950kph, the range about 1079.22nm = 1241.9 sm = 2000 km and the max. Service Ceiling up to 51,000 ft = 15,545m

The main airport of Oran was recently renamed Oran Ahmed Ben Bella International in honor of the nation's founding president. The airport recently underwent EUR 20 million renovations which added the new 07R/25L runway and extended and renamed the existing 07L/25R runway as well as taxiway construction. Renovations were also done to the main parking apron and terminal building. This airport serves as a hub for Air Algeria and Aigle Azur with service to points in Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Several other airlines serve the airport with Air France beginning service from Paris in the Summer of 2013. The city of Oran (population approx. 759,645) is the second largest city in Algeria and an important industrial, educational and cultural center in Alegria.

Looking for a functional all-in-one panel? This package might be worth a look then. With a consistent layout for all instrumentation except aircraft type specific gauges (like engine displays and controls), this package offers panels for nearly all possible aircraft types. These IFR compatible 2D panels use the proper autopilot system for the aircraft type and have all the bells and whistles in easy reach; including an upgraded PFD, backup gauges, full IFR gauges (including ADF), fuel request, jetway toggle, engine startup and shutdown ability, a speed reduction system with auto spoilers, auto reverse thrust and auto taxi after landing, automatic gear, a true auto-smoke gauge that works with any aircraft having an engine smoke system, ground handling and popups like a custom exits control gauge, flight information computer and a TCAS radar plus much more. No attempt was made to replicate an actual aircraft panel, these were designed to allow flight of any aircraft in any location or situation without having to figure out how to use a different panel for each plane, and to assure all the necessary controls are present.
v6.3 is a Major Upgrade with a cleaner, more uniform look and tons of updated graphics, along with a load of new and improved features, including a functional TOGA system and, for piston engine aircraft, an Auto-Takeoff system. Complete package, no previous version required.
