These are the missing textures as reported by John. Just add them to the texture folder. Criticism and praise are equally welcome, and particularly if you point out a missing texture or something similar! I just wish that the down-loader who points out an error will one day be down-loader number 1, instead of number 122 as in this case.

RUTACA (Rutas Aéreas Compañia Anonima) founded in 1974 in Venezuela.
I have used Mark Beaumont's excellent Repaint Templates to start from.

| Springfields in the US VFR Tour |

File Description:
As a tribute to the animated "Simpsons" TV series, I decided to plan and fly (virtually via FSX) VFR to a Springfield in each state that had one. There are over 40 Springfields in the US with some states having none and some greedy states having multiples. Not counting the multiples, this leaves by my count 33 Springfields. Pretending we have deep pockets and lots of time, we will fly a Cessna 172 to the airports closest to each Springfield in a circuitous route beginning and ending in North Carolina. The flights assume you understand VORs and flying them inbound and outbound as well as utilizing NDBs. The GPS is handy for positional awareness, but using it to get from waypoint to waypoint takes out the fun.

4 forest fires in Mallorca / Majorca (Spain), at different locations and times of the day. Mainly situated in the western mountain chain, it will become quite challenging flying at the low altitudes, necessary for an accurate waterdrop. Risks increasing at dawn and dusk.

File Description:
This was a DEW line Auxiliary Station on the western shore of the lower reaches of the Boothia Peninsula, 50 miles south of Taloyoak and 60 miles east of Gjoa Haven. The station was closed in 1989 but is almost intact except for a diesel tank or two. There are also other buildings nearby, and others on the beach landing area. A NWS automated station was opened in the same year as the Dew station was closed. The runway is also still there and is around 4,500 feet of gravel 100' wide, aligned 027T/207T. There are no lights, signage, or windsock, but the usual large hangar which was built at all Auxiliary Stations still survives. This is one of the more interesting DEW line stations to visit and walk around.

File Description:

The station was closed in 1963 and the buldings and other items have been removed apart from the garage and some diesel tanks. A NWS automated station was opened there in 1991. The runway is still there and is just over 3,500 feet of gravel 100' wide, aligned 044T/224T, and at 790 feet ASL. There are no lights, signage, or windsock. This is one of the less interesting DEW line stations to visit and walk around.

| Hall Beach CYUX in Nunavut, Canada |

File Description:
Hall Beach is on the Melville Peninsula, part of the mainland of Canada, south and west of Baffin Island. It is around 40 miles south of Igloolik and 50 miles west of Rowley, both of them my previous posts. The airfield was built to support the construction and operation of a main DEW line radar station and to support the rest of the associated chain. Because of the employment opportunities this brought, a village developed nearby. The airfield continues in regular use and the runway, though still gravel, is 5,400' long and 150' wide and lighted; the alignment is 124T and 304T as this is in northern domestic airspace and bearings are given as 'true" and not "magnetic". There are scenery folders for the village, roads, grass, etc, and AI for two airlines with regular service to Hall Beach.
