Sinapore Airlines is the launch customer for the A359ULR. The aircraft is configured in a two-class layout, with 67 Business Class seats and 94 Premium Economy Class seats. She is designed for long range flights of over 9,700 nm. Fuel has been increased at the expense of souls on board. The primary use will initially be for routes between WSSS and KJFK (or KLGA), but many others of similar distance can be added later. The flight number on this aircraft reflects the first flight from KJFK-WSSS which is only 8,275 nm (Contrary to media reports of over 9,000 nm) and about 17.5 hours duration (see You Tube video on this flight). The aircraft follows normal flight rules with a higher flight level and longer range. Almost everything is computer controlled and monitored throughout the flight, from take-off to landing. Two of Four pilots monitor the flight at all times, and shift changes occur on a schedule that allows appropriate rest for the crew. The passengers enjoy accommodations unlike provided in any other aircraft or flight, with plenty of meal servings and entertainment options. Major upgrade for V10.3, with focus on zooming, Direct-To, inserting waypoints in the flight plan, and User waypoints (waypoints not present in FSX/P3D database).
Key improvements:
- Zooming maps with the mouse wheel now finally like in Google Maps, Google Earth, Bing Maps, Garmin BaseCamp, Little Navmap (FSX utility), etc..
- Direct-To Track Updating: dark red track line continuously follows aircraft movements. For proper operation, the user should install XMLVARS/XMLTools in FSX/P3D (most users will already have done this).
- Visual indication of "Direct-To Active".
- Flight plan: multiple POI's (points clicked on a map) can be inserted in the FPL, they will be named sequentially as TARGET1 to TARGETnnnn.
- Inserting in the flight plan, all sorts of waypoints from all possible sources, can be done with a quicker method with the green buttons alone, without needing to open the Direct-To page.
- Other refinements in code and screen layout since V10.3.
It is recommended to replace V10.3 with this V12.0!

File Description:
RAF Manston (ICAO EGMH)was an RAF station in the north-east of Kent, on the Isle of Thanet from 1916 until 1996. The site is now split between a commercial airport Kent International Airport (KIA) and a continuing military use by the Defence Fire Training and Development Centre (DFTDC), following on from a long-standing training facility for RAF firefighters at the Manston base.

I have represented it here in 1944 leading up to its part in Operation Market garden and D Day. It was one of the few airfields installed with the Fog Investigation Dispersal Organisation (FIDO) system designed to remove fog from airfields by burning it off with petrol and I have represented this with the 8 fuel tanks at the 29 end of the mail runway. I have laid the station out roughly according to an old map made in the mid 40s but I make no claims to the accuracy of building I have used.
