UV-4 V/STOL UAV (Experimental) Download

File Description:
Created as a means to display the potential of a ducted fan rotorcraft powered by multiple electric motors. The system made its launch in 2015, since then advances and improvements have been completed to the airframe and power plant configurations. Delivering an efficient means of lift using smaller and therefore quieter propeller then traditional helicopters. The function of the ducted system serves as a mean of channeling pressure and vectoring thrust. Giving the UV-4 a unique control system and improved maneuverability. The design of a low speed "T-Tail" houses the function of yaw control with multiple rudders located on its vertical stabilizer, and elevators on its horizontal stabilizer. In addition the rear ducted systems may pivot up to less then sixty degrees forward and backwards to deliver the vector thrust where the aircraft needs it to be. The cargo bay may house up to four thousand pounds of deliverable payload. As its max gross take-off weight is designed to reach twelve thousand five hundred pounds. The electrical systems on the aircraft use a network of batteries, generators, and its two electrical motors. Proving five hundred horse power each, totaling an amount of one thousand horse power. An electrical charge then powers the mechanization used to spin the propeller to its desired rate per minute. Perhaps in the near future an additional system can be created to then generate electrical charges created by the spinning propeller of inside the duct back into the aircraft to then power systems or recharge the battery. We forward to providing this aircraft on Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Lockheed-Martin Prepar3d, and X-Plane 10 for download by the end of 2016. Aircraft by Rob Gomez & Kris Pyatt

US Navy Collection, with Flyable UAV Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Unfortunately the Navy has cancelled or scaled down most fleet week celebrations around the nation. With this collection, you can stage your own!
Among the latest and hottest additions to the US Navy arsenal is the LCS. Two versions have been developed, the trimaran corvette by General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin's version, which promise to give a double black eye to Al Qaida, Somali pirates, or anyone else that opposes Freedom and Independence. Also are included in this package are the Arleigh-Burke class destroyer USS Fitzgerald, the Ticonderoga class cruiser Lake Champlain and two Oliver-Perry class frigates, FFG-58 Samuel B Roberts and FFG-60 Rodney M Davis. The centerpiece of the fleet is LHD-2 USS Essex and thanks to Arno's fantastic ModelConverterX, Essex is able to feature a highly detailed deck packed with 7 F-35b JSF, 6 MV-22 Osprey, 5 CH-53 and 2 Seahawks. Finally, SSN775 Texas, as part of the collection is available for patrol. All ships have landable decks, night lights and animation effects. Texas as a submarine is more of a boat, I believe, but it has navigation lights and wake effects.

I have also included another hot Navy addition, the RQ-8 fire Scout. There are two versions, a static RQ-8b lashed to the deck of Independence and an RQ-8c with the Flir Brite Star electro/optical turret which I have made flyable, largely for absence of deck space to place it as static.

Make no mistake that the Essex model is very resource intensive, with all it's polygons and what have you. The night lighting is stunning (imo) but seems to have an even heavier effect, you've been warned..

Antonov AN225-210 "Colossus" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The AN225-210 is the result of a proposed 1 to 2-year projected modernization program which will convert the current AN225 into a much more useful and capable aircraft than the already infamous Мрія (Mriya) . The latter First flew on December 21, 1988, and is currently 33 years old. There have been a few maintenance periods and 1 major avionics modification, but otherwise is too old for reliable future use. The 2 year process involves reconstructing the landing gear system to support much more weight. The new engines are much more powerful, but lighter in weight, and much more fuel efficient. The wings are replaced with similar wings with more wing-area built of modern light-weight material which gives her higher lift capacity. The cargo hold area is reinforced for heavier weight limits. The crew areas (upper deck, fore/aft main wing) are modernized for long duration flight, and two galleys are included. The fuel tanks (9) now also involve 3 tanks in the upper center portion of the fuselage in order to put less stress on the wings. The pressure system is modernized to achieve 6,000 feet cabin pressure up to FL470. The internal and external lighting is fully modernized, the former for a pleasing effect and the latter for distinct recognition during flight. Overall, the aircraft does not appear different to the common observer. Airbus A359ULR Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Sinapore Airlines is the launch customer for the A359ULR. The aircraft is configured in a two-class layout, with 67 Business Class seats and 94 Premium Economy Class seats. She is designed for long range flights of over 9,700 nm. Fuel has been increased at the expense of souls on board. The primary use will initially be for routes between WSSS and KJFK (or KLGA), but many others of similar distance can be added later. The flight number on this aircraft reflects the first flight from KJFK-WSSS which is only 8,275 nm (Contrary to media reports of over 9,000 nm) and about 17.5 hours duration (see You Tube video on this flight). The aircraft follows normal flight rules with a higher flight level and longer range. Almost everything is computer controlled and monitored throughout the flight, from take-off to landing. Two of Four pilots monitor the flight at all times, and shift changes occur on a schedule that allows appropriate rest for the crew. The passengers enjoy accommodations unlike provided in any other aircraft or flight, with plenty of meal servings and entertainment options. To see the seating chart, enter the Airbus A359ULR Singapore Airlines folder and click the icon named “SeatGuru Seat Map Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 ULR.html” and the seating map will appear. The model here has ground servicing animation. Please review the ReadMe_FSX.txt document for further info on this. Read A359ULR details.txt for aircraft details. Fairchild 24 (VH-ALF) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-ALF.This aircraft (c/n 339) was built with the USAAC serial of 42-32134, and was shipped as part of the Lend Lease program to the U.K. becoming FK330. In 1948 it was civilianized as G-AKJL. It was first registered in Australia in July, 1951. Interestingly, the site athttp://home.att.net/~jbaugher/1942_2.html states that it was returned to the USA in 1947. That being the case, did the USA state that they didn't want it, and return it to the U.K. again? If not, how then did it get to be registered in the the U.K. in 1948? Or maybe it WAS to have been returned but did not. Anyway, it was back at Lithgow, NSW in May 1973. At present, it is painted in a "war bird" livery, based at Wedderburn, NSW. Incidentaly, since this machine was an Argus I with the RAF it is extremely unlikely that it ever bore USAAF markings. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

Cunliffe-Owen Concordia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
In 1945 this little known (and probably unheard of) Southampton engineering works announced the existence of their CONCORDIA medium range 10 seat 'feeder liner' project which put it directly head to head in the same market as the DH104 Dove, the prototype of which had already flown.
The advertising publicity of the day described a very desirable, luxurious aircraft with a 1200 mile range. Designed as a DH89A Dragon Rapide replacement, as with the Dove, the operating costs would prove to be at least twice as high but an attractive modern metal airliner with passenger appeal was on offer!

In 1947 the first two airframes had been completed and were flying. In addition a production line of six aircraft had been laid down. These included c/n 3 for the Nawab of Bhopal (G-AKBF/VT-CQT) and two for British European Airways. Unfortunately, due to an inadequate market, by the end of the year all work was suspended and the incomplete airframes were scrapped.
