File Description:
This archive contains repaints and fictional flightplans for a variety of aircraft that operate in Puerto Rico. There are textures for Corporate Air Embraer 120s (5), the Air Flamenco Fleet of Islanders, MN Aviation Cessna C208Bs, Vieques Air Link Islanders, Linear Air C208Bs, CapCana C208Bs, the blue Roblex Islander "El Bebe", some Air Tahoma Convairs and a USDOJ SAAB2000 that operates repatriation flights and prisoner transport. There's also the CIA ATR42 that operates flights around the Caribbean and into Guantanamo Bay. Some seasonal aircraft are also here (operating to St Barths in the high season), these have a variety of real-world private registrations and there's the Islander N555DM too. There is alsoa PR Government (natural Resources) C208B. There are also afcads for the airports in PR, some more accurate than others. Many of these airplanes operate out of Aguadilla or Isla Grande (TJIG).
The flightplans also reference some aircraft available elsewhere on Avsim (other Vieques paints for example, and the Roblex SD360). Some flightplans are also separated out by airline if you want to install thems separately using the MRAI installer (Corporate Air, Vieques and Air Flamenco).

Oliktok is a DEW station Air Force base to the east of the Colville River delta, 160 miles east of Barrow and 12 miles from Harmon Helmericks house and dirt strip in the delta on Anachlik Island. (See my previous post, made after reading his book about northern Alaska flying). The runway is just over 4,000 feet of gravel and aligned 03-21. The large hangar is still there, and so are the majority of the DEW buildings closer to the beach. There are now also some oil production facilities and living quarters nearby on the point, but these are not included in this scenery as to make them convincingly (and there is no point in making them unconvincingly!) would be 100+ times as laborious as making the airstrip. And as Sid has memorably said, "If you can't taxi up to it, then xxxx it". So this scenery is dated way before the north slope was changed from a wilderness to an industrial complex. The AI is one day a C-130, on another a Cessna, and on a third a Reeve Aleutian DC-6B.

| Guyana Airways 707-323 Adv 1992 |

This is a repaint of the 707-323 Adv. in Guyana Airways colors. The payware 707-300 by Captain Sim is needed for this repaint. Guyana Airways was formed in 1963 in Georgetown Guyana, and a network of scheduled services was developed through the 1960s and 1970s linking Georgetown with 24 domestic destinations, as well as Miami, Boa Vista (Brazil), and such Caribbean spots as Barbados and Port of Spain. Guyana Airways virtually leased all its aircraft, which is why many different aircraft types were used during the airline's operations. In 1978 its fleet consisted of a DC-6A, 2 Hawker Siddeley HS 748s, 2 DHC-4A Caribou, 2 DHC-6 Twin Otters, and 1 Cessna 310. Later on Tu-154s, L-188 Freighters, 2 707-300s, a 737-200, and a 757-200 were added to the fleet. The 707s were used for the direct service between Paramaribo and New York. In 1999 the airline ceased operations due to financial problems. Textures are HiDef 32bit dds. DXT5 dds textures are also included as well. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

File Description:
FS2004. Texture sets only, requiring the base model of the GMAX MAAM-SIM R4D/DC-3 available from www.maam.org. Based on original textures by Jan Visser. Bonanza Air Services (BAS) was formed in early in 1945 by Edmund Converse, a former lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy; Charlie Keene, once an operator of a small charter operation in Santa Paula, California; and June Simon, daughter of "Pop" Simon the former secretary-director of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. BAS located its home base at the Sky Haven Airfield, now known as the North Las Vegas Air Terminal, and began operating with just one single-engine, four-seat Cessna. The company offered charter flights to several small Nevada towns but needed a place to promote its product. The trio struck a deal with the El Rancho Vegas Hotel and Casino to set up a ticket counter in the lobby. Bonanza Air Lines was the aviation pioneer in the western United States and proved to be a vital link in the air transportation industry. In it's 23 years of operation BAL growth continued up until the time of the merger. Bonanza will be remembered as a successful airline.

| Installation of functional yokes to 2D Panels |

File Description:
Movable yokes for 2D panels (primarily for use at add-on aircraft). Noted that many aircraft 2D panels are missing the functional yokes. These yokes can be easily installed to aircraft panels, and opened with the button (marked 'Yoke' in yellow - installed to the panel}.
The yoke opens in the middle of the screen but can then be dragged to any most realistic panel location preferable not obscuring the essential instruments. The flight can then be saved with the yoke in this position. To see the instruments behind, the yoke can always be closed by pressing the yellow button.
The 18 included yokes are intended for the cockpits of: B-17, B-24, B-29, B-52, B707, B737, B747-777, B757-767, Beachcraft, Cessna, Concorde, DC8-9, Douglas props, Embraer, Learjet, MD11, Piper and VC10.
Note that the actual yokes could be different, custom made for the different airlines and different aircraft types, therefore some of these might just partially resemble the authentic yokes used in these types. All included yokes can also be used for any other aircraft panels as deemed appropriate. Finally Many Thanks to all the 'free download' aircraft panel designers, great jobs!

| P-51D G-SIJJ "Jumpin'Jacques" |

File Description:
"Jumpin Jacques" is a P-51D-20-NA model, built at North American’s Inglewood facility in California. Accepted by the USAAF on December 21 1944 as 44-72035, she was assigned to the 332nd fighter group in the Mediterranean Theatre of operations. The 332nd became very famous as the first all Afro American manned Group known as "The Tuskegee Airmen" although references to them at the time refer to them as "The Red Tails". She entered combat with the 15th Air force around March 1945 serving out the last few months of the war on escort and ground attack sweeps over Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia. She still carries the battle scars to this day, with bullet repairs in several places on the fuselage. After the war, she was repatriated to the US and served with several ANG units. She was released from active duty in 1953 and in 1956 sold to Whitman Enterprises, CA, who registered her as N5411V.
She remained in the Us until 1981, when she was sold to Colombia. In 1989, she was bought by Jacques Bourret of Aero Retro, based in St.Rambert, France, with the registration F-AZMU. When looking for a colour scheme for the P-5, Jacques came upon the photo of a Mustang named "Jumpin’ Jacques" and could not resist adopting this as the new scheme. The original "Jumpin’ Jacques" was flown by Lt Jacques E Young of the 3rd Fighter Squadron, 3rd Air Commando Group, a unit that operated out of the Philippines.
At present, she is with the Hangar11 group of North Weald, UK, flying with the registration G-SIJJ. She has been repainted completely in early 2007, and it is this paintscheme that is depicted with this repaint.

This aircraft is the advanced upgrade from previous versions, and there are no more upgrades scheduled for the future. The paint is fictional, but illustrates what would be used for Charter flights by some airlines. Even in that case, I tried to make it as real as possible, as you will see. All authors credited other than myself are not involved with any of the engine or aerodynamic or detailed corrections. I even enhanced the parking data, callsign used, lighting effects, gear, MOI, weight & ballance, flaps and smoke for realism. There are no known issues with this model as it stands, and it is now possible to easily achieve FL510 and cruise over 8,000 nm, even with 16X simulation speed activated using auto-pilot. This perfection is based on real world aero/engine dynamic data and formulas employed within the aircraft.cfg and .air files. Flight Tuning is no longer used in this model. There is no other FSX Gulfstream G-550 available anywhere (Free or Payware) that includes all of this realism, and if there is in the future, it was copied from this data. Don't be fooled. I don't expect any world-wide awards or the "Nobel FS Prize" for any of this, but your comments related to the results will be appreciated, and acknowledged. Please understand that this work required many hours of study and testing, and is offered free for Educational Purposes primarily. The results illustrate the realism of the G-550 in almost every aspect imaginable, which is possible with all FSX aircraft when you know how and what is needed. Peawanuck is on the bank of the Winisk River, 23 miles upstream from where the river empties into the Hudson Bay just west of James Bay. It has a population of around 240, and was established in 1986 when the original settlement (Winisk) at the mouth of the river was destroyed by a flood. The airport is on a bluff in a corner of the river at 171 feet ASL, with a gravel runway just over 3,500 feet long and aligned 11-29. There is only basic runway lighting, with no ILS, VASI, or PAPI; there is also no apron lighting, or fuel. Service is provided by Air Creebec with connector flights to Moosonee and Timmins, and on to Montreal. A search of their timetable did not provide any information regarding timings but I made the AI flight from Timmins a daily one; it is probably only once or twice a week. There is also a daily private Cessna from Moosonee. Winisk, at the mouth of the river, has another gravel runway which is over 6,000 feet long. There is also a large hangar and to the north the remaining buildings and fuel tanks etc of a Radar Control site which was closed in 1965 after only 7 years of use.

| Crossing North America Flight Adventures-Package 4 |

File Description:
Here's the 4th edition of my "Crossing North America" adventure and we are still working our way around in Alaska. The 10 flightplan-adventures included with package #4 begin at Cordova in Prince William Sound, then we travel up and deep into the Klondike region of east central Alaska. We end our adventures at Hoonah, AK just south of the Glacier Bay National Park. Our journey will have had us crossing the Wrangell mountains (twice) and viewing some of Alaska's most dramatically beautiful areas the state has to offer. The next package (#5) will be the final one for Alaska, as it will tour the Southeast part of the state, including the Capital of Juneau. Ironically, it is the capital of Alaska that is the only state capital you cannot drive to, as the only way you can reach Juneau is either by boat or plane. Package #6 will begin our tour of Canada, starting with the Yukon! Packages 1-4 have now totaled 4,678 miles flown, using 34 different aircraft!

This is Matsakoni Airlines Virtual MAV(www.matsakoni.gr) fictional texture for the eurowings pro BAe146-300 addon. Based on standard colours of MAV aircrafts. Matsakoni Airlines was founded in early 2002 and its HQ¢s is based on Ioannis Kapodistrias Int airport (LGKR), Corfu island. Affiliates and hubs on other major Greek and European cities are planned for the fiscal year 2008. Eletherios Venizelos Athinai Int airport (LGAV) is MAV's hub since Aug'07.
