| Mandarin Airlines 1998 AI Package |

Mandarin Airlines was a fully-owned affiliate of China Airlines based in RCTP. Today, Mandarin does mostly regional flying, but 1998 represented the final years of widebody operations for the carrier. The 747SPs were retired soon after, and the MD-11s and 747-400 gradually returned to China Airlines. Mandarin operated most of the US, Australian, European, and Middle Eastern flights for China Airlines at the time. Mandarin aircraft frequently swapped back and forth onto China Airlines routes and vice versa. As Mandarin had a small fleet, I elected to have Mandarin planes on Mandarin routes, but my China Airlines plans will also utilize Mandarin colors MD-11s on China Airlines routes, so the repaints in this file are required for China Airlines 1998. Swap out the aircraft as you see fit. Repaints by the talented Ranmori Scythe included for the FAIB 747-400, 747SP, and FSPX MD-11 included with flightplans by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. | Galena PAGA Runway and Taxiway Lighting in Alaska |

Galena is in Alaska, and this posting adds proper runway lighting to the gravel runway that is used in the winter by light planes on skis, and because of that is not cleared of snow; unfortunately a gravel surface that gets snow covered in winter cannot be replicated in FS9. There are also taxiway lights visible during the day and at night there will be lit taxiway lights. I did not attempt to replicate the complicated main runway lighting which is well covered anyway by FS9. First of all, download and install the Library Objects once and for all from either the Allakaket Lights or Anaktuvuk Lights postings earlier this week. Then put these new bgl's into the existing scenery folder of your previous Galena PAGA installation and say yes to replace the existing bgl's that have the same names. Add the texture folder contents to the existing texture folder as they are required for the red warning lights at the ends of the gravel runway. There will be further retro upgrades to other recent scenery that was posted with temporary lighting. Say thank you to Greg Putz for making the lighting.

File Description:
Swiss is the flag carrier airline of Switzerland operating scheduled services in Europe and to North America, South America, Africa and Asia. Its main hub is Zurich Airport. The airline was formed after the 2002 bankruptcy of Swissair, Switzerland's former flag carrier.
Swiss International Airlines livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-214(WL) model (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more.

Air France's new airline Joon flightplans - 100% flights accurate on the 26/03/2018.
The airline was launched on the 1st of december of 2017, based in Paris Charles de Gaule airport. It is now operating routes to the following destinations:
-Cairo
-Berlin
-Naples
-Rome
-Oslo
-Lisbon
-Porto
-Barcelona
-Istanbul
-Cape Town
The airline is now using 7 A320s, 5 A321s, and 2 A340s, all transfered from Air France.
The airline operated its operation on the 1st of december 2017 as a new subsidairy of AirFrance. All of the aircrafts are all former Air France, i.e. 3 days ago Joon received its first A321 from parent company. Joon seems to follow an hybrid airline with many goals: 1) be cheaper than air france to compete with growing low cost, 2) feed the air france hubs 3) as it is cheaper, fly on destinations where air france is not profitable - or else open new routes 4) try to sound attractive to the younger generations. For all these reasons, Joon is currently flying to Barcelona (lots competition on that route), Rome, Fortaleza (new route) or Mumbai (not profitable neither), have wifi on board and its staff wears hypster clothes ;)The enabler ia the staff having lower wages.

Air Berlin is Germany's second largest airline, after Lufthansa, and Europe's seventh largest airline in terms of passengers carried. Air Berlin operates an extensive network from a total of 17 German cities, including some European metropolitan and several leisure destinations in the Mediterranean region, Madeira, the Canary Islands and North Africa as well as intercontinental destinations in Southeast Asia, the Caribbean and the Americas. Its hubs are Berlin Tegel Airport and Dusseldorf Airport. The airline is a member of the Oneworld alliance and owns the subsdiaries NIKI in Austria and Belair in Switzerland. Etihad Airways owns 29.21% of Air Berlin.

File Description:
This is an upgrade package for the default Boeing 737-800. I compiled this package with new simmers in mind. This package has an advanced virtual cockpit that includes switches for LCD, EICAS, PFD, MFT, autobrake, pilot windows, cabin lights and GPWS. It also includes working windshield wipers with rain effects, upgraded virtual cockpit textures, a realistic Flight Management Computer and custom GPWS and cabin announcement sounds. I've included 11 high-quality liveries for Air Berlin, Air France, AirTran Airways, American Airlines, British Airways, Delta Airlines, Lufthansa, Pan American World Airways, Quantas, United Airlines and US Airways. I'll add more in future releases. I haven't asked permission from any of the original developers of these add-ons to include their work in this package. If I've used your work and you're upset about it, please reach out to me and I'll take care of it promptly. This package uses Advanced 737-800 VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena, Upgraded 737-800 VC Textures by Enrique Cornejo, Honeywell FMC by Garrett Smith, Boeing Callouts by Jimmy Foong and EDO Sounds by Edoardo Ammannati. I collected the liveries from multiple different packages. I'm not sure who the original authors are. If you're the author of one of these liveries, let me know so that I can give you credit. All of the copyrights for these add-ons belong to their rightful developer(s). I've just compiled the best that I could find.

| Nomads Travel Club 1998 |

File Description:
Nomads Travel Club may be one of the most storied travel clubs in aviation history. Founded in 1961 and based in Detroit(DTW), where the airline had it's own terminal, Nomads Travel Club gave up to 10,000 adventurous members the opportunity to hop on aircraft for elaborate tours across the earth. Initially flying a DC-7C, the airline upgraded to a L-188 Electra, CV-990, 727-100, and finally 727-200 N727M in 1993 which served the club until it's demise in 2011. N727M has traveled to dozens of countries and hundreds of airports, and I was able to find good information about 2 tours flown in 1998 and represented them in these plans. The aircraft spends at least half a day at each destination except for YHZ which is just a Westbound refueling stop. As far as I could find, the airline had no callsign or codes, so I am guessing they used the registration as a callsign. | CityBird 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip". | ALM Antillean Airlines 1998 |

File Description:
In 1998, ALM was just 3 years from failure. The airline was operating 3 MD-82s and 4 DHC-8-300s mostly from CUR onwards to nearby nations as well as to ATL and MIA, while frequenting SXM as well. Now, I did the best I could, but this airlines schedule was a mess! It would often show the same flight number being flown at 3 or 4 different times on the same day with slight variation (as in LM810 CUR-BON leaving at 1505, 1510, and 1515 ALL on Friday, which is obviously an error). A very odd schedule. None the less, I was able to put it together with just 1 extra DHC-8-300 which is segregated if you don't wish to include it. The DHC-8s often turn in 10-15 minutes, and the MD-80s in 25-30, so the fleet keeps rather busy. TFS DHC-8-300 repaint by Christian Gold and Antoine Calleja\APG included. | Omni Air International OAI 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Omni Air International started flying in 1997 with a pair of DC-10-30s while a 3rd was added in late 1998. The airline was operationally based in MSP, with LAS as a "focus city" where Omni maintains a strong presence to this day. OAI did all sorts of flying, from tour group/holiday package flights to LAS and HNL, to military charters(which often used HNL/DFW/PSM/FRA), to large group charters such as for college sports teams. There were also many re-positioning flights to get the aircraft to/from the next/last charter. I used to see them frequently at SFO, and obviously MSP. These representative plans are based on a combination of photos, what I remember seeing myself at the time, and information from a friend who was an Omni flight attendant at the time as to specific routes and happenings at the company in the late 1990s.
