File Description:
This is a new version of a success story panel I designed for fs2002 and had thousands downloads.
This file contains everything needed, panel, gauges, sound files and aircraft.cfg changes tutorial in order to have a fully functionnal radionav system. But it is a beta-version that works properly on my computer, and if any problem occurs, please e-mail me so that I can fix it.I encourage any panel designer to improve this job, for the benefit of the whole Fs community. My philosophy in panel design is to have everything working in a single window: when flying a real plane, I never open "a new window" to get the overhead or throttle panel! Happy new Year . This panel is released especially for Dick G.

This download for FS9 contains Classic Ship files for use with the Classic Scenery available from Tom Gibson's California Classics website: http://www.calclassic.com

| Another Jetstream 41 checklist with mini-guidelines |
|
File Description:
This archive contains yet another Bae JS41 checklist. I
created it for:
--people that don't fly the J41 that often
--People new to the aircraft
It's mostly a checklist but it has some reminders about
things you need to have in mind about the J41:
--Power settings
--Where to be level by
--A simplified guide for the FMS (but useful!)
--A practical guide to getting destination weight for
landing speeds (using the FMS, weight and balance sheet
and speed cards).
Some of this stuff came out of the tutorial, some of it
from other good checklists. I tried to aggregate the best parts.
Feel free to modify it to your heart's content, extract
parts, etc. If you find anything in error or which could be done better then, please, let me know.

I also have included my "Dirty Wing" on the older -700's and everything else has a clean wing. The bump maps are provided by Chris Hicks and go check out his paints, they are excellent. This is meant to be used with the PMDG 737NGX. The PMDG 737 NGX Base-Pack and Add-on pack are required for use. Installation with the Livery Manger.

(TEXTURES ONLY)
(ONLY TESTED IN FSX: STEAM EDITION)
This was requested by Carl Lyndon Nepomuceno on Facebook.
If there is a tutorial online on how to make bare metal textures, I would totally make it by hand. Unfortunately there are none, and I mean like nothing at all. There was no complete tutorial or video on how to make that said texture, so I used AI to create one. I still have to sort a lot of things out like removing some of the belly and the back. There are also limited sources, both for references and decals. I made the "NORTHWEST ORIENT CARGO" Text using a Helvetica font from Fontsgeek, made my own letter "S" and used it for my livery. I had a previous version where I just used the text from a high quality Flickr photo, removed the background and added color. The references are limited for the "NORTHWEST CARGO" Livery specifically, as it seems like there are only 2 available photos of N618US with that exact livery. One in Facebook and another from Flickr (if I can remember). I also am not sure if the "CARGO" Text is a very dark shade of blue, or just black. If someone could verify that it is black, feel free to contact me so I can change it!
After this, I'll make the N800FT and N801FT liveries, but I would still have to make the JA822J 787-8 "Old Livery" of JAL.
The Livery 2 is the livery in 1977 while Livery 1 is 1979, so I may have accidentally switched it! But it is too late now...
Instructions and more information are included in the readme file.

The mission based on the real flight of Jet Blue Airlines 241 between Oakland International and Long Beach in Los Angele's. An additional tutorial-document is including, that shows you all gauges, switches and buttons you need for this mission and it shows you all indications of the flight management system appearing on the PFD- and SD-display, sorted by the different phases of the flight. | 737 800 NGX fuel planner 1.2 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
CREATION
This fuel planner was made from datas collected by kACARS_free during flights test, and from the PMDG's tutorial, the result is approximate but corresponds relatively well to the consumption of the NGX.
OPERATION
You only have to fill the departure's ICAO - the distance until the arrival - the arrival's ICAO - the distance to the alternate airport - the ICAO of alternate.
You can change :
- APU time,
- taxi departure time,
- taxi arrival time,
- CDB fuel,
- holding fuel
You can also fill the adjustement's datas to the wind :
- average route,
- wind direction,
- wind speed.
If you have headwind, the fuel planner takes it into consideration, but not the tailwind, because the wind can be lower than expected!
If you have any question, ask me:
[email protected]
Changelog :
V1.1
- add fuel planner in kgs
v1.2
- add wind adjustment
- adjust enroute consumption
