FS2004 Scenery - Groton-New London Airport (IATA: GON, ICAO: KGON, FAA LID: GON) is a state-owned public-use airport located three miles (5 km) southeast of the central business district of Groton, a town in New London County, Connecticut, United States. It serves the southeastern Connecticut region, including the shoreline localities of Groton, New London, and Mystic. Created with Instant Scenery using various Object Libraries, I highly recommend David "Opa" Marshall's tall ships scenery (tallpack.zip) as a companion to Groton-New London. By John B. Loney, Jr.

FS2004 Scenery - In 1979 the Collings Foundation was founded to support "living history" events involving transportation. Originally founded with the focus of automobiles, the foundation moved to aircraft as the need for quality aviation history exhibits grew. Mansfield Municipal Airport (1B9) serves Mansfield and Bristol County, MA and is owned by the Town Of Mansfield. The airport has more than one runway. The airport is comprised of 120 acres, and is located at the southern edge of Knoxville, adjacent to the Highway 14 & Highway 5/92 interchange. The 4,000 foot (by 75 foot) single runway is constructed of concrete, with parallel taxiway. The facility is at an elevation of 928 feet at a distance of about 2 miles from Knoxville. Generic floating buildings have been replaced with custom and library objects, and the attached seaplane base is included with a functional ramp to the water. FSX does not include the water runways on the intercoastal waterway, but information from the St. Augustine-St. Johns County Airport Authority is included showing the runway locations. Scenery in this package is based on Virtual Earth (Bing) and Google Earth imagery. Landclass changes, roads, rework of taxiways and aprons, placement of library objects and a library of new airport buildings are included.

File Description:
Copalis State Airport in Grays Harbor County, Washington is listed in Popular Mechanics' 18 strangest airports in the world. It is a public airport consisting of beach sand available as a runway at low tide and has no other facilities. The airport "runway" occurs in the wrong location in FSX with UT-USA, and this package corrects that as well as adding some scenery. Look out for seagulls when landing and taking off. The dolphin playing offshore are as hard to spot as they are in real life. A campsite fire helps you locate the landing area, and two small GA parking spaces are available for AI traffic.

FS2004 Scenery-Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport, Colorado (KFNL) serves Fort Collins/Loveland and Larimer County and is owned by Fort Collins & Loveland. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 8500 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 5016 feet at a distance of about 9 miles from Fort Collins/Loveland. Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport is mostly used for general aviation but is also served by one commercial airline, Allegiant Air. This scenery is not an attempt to be picture accurate.
