Gmax Photo Polygon Tutorial

File Description:
This tutorial explains how to take raw satellite or aerial imagery, break it up in to FS9/FSX compatible tiles, then create an accurately sized plane in Gmax to display the tiles on. The Tutorial consists of an mpeg4 file.
The final product can be exported as a ground polygon or used as reference.

GMAX jetways in the three standard colours found at most airports around the US and the world. These macros are in api format for use by scenery designers (and any other). These jetways are designed to be used with the default scenery to make your default airports a bit more "As Real As It Gets", and require the the freeware program, 'Airport for Windows'. Gmax Poly Count Summary

File Description:
Several gmax source files were downloaded from the public domain and the data contained in the "Summary Information " has been tabulated into an Excel97 workbook. If you are, or are going to become, a gmax designer, this data will provide an insight into how many polygons are used for various features. Depending on the application, it will range from over a 1000 for a single tire on a highly detailed aircraft, to about 1500 for an entire aircraft intended for AI use only. The workbook is macro free and presents no danger to your computer. You do need Excel to view the data.

FlyTampa Gmax Aerostatic 1.0

File Description:
Set of low-polygon aircraft incl. Boeing models 747, 777, 767, 737, Airbus A320, MD11 and MD80 as used in FlyTampa sceneries' static addons. This package comes as Open Source and includes the Gmax source files as well as sample and source texture files (PSD format). Some knowledge of Gmax is required in order to either export the aircraft directly, or to convert them to API/library calls. The Open Source license allows you to use the contents of this package without any restrictions, either in it's original form or with modifications of your own. The redistribution of modified/enhanced works derived from this package is not required but encouraged.

File Description: Gmax F-86 Sabre for FS2004. There are 2 versions included. A slatted wing version and a hard wing version. 26 paint schemes are provided. There's a detailed and realistic looking virtual cockpit for a great flying experience. I've also created a 2D panel with a combination of default and slightly modified default gauges. With the hard wing version there's an expanded VR cockpit model of the entire aircraft (minus the landing gear) allowing for great Active Camera shots. I've included 2 Active Camera preset files for this purpose. Enjoy! (FILE RE-UPLOAD)
