Ireland VFR Small Airports Part 1.
This scenery includes 5 small airports in Ireland. EIDL Donegal is in the far North West, EIAB Abbeyshrule is located in the centre of Ireland. EIKL Kilkenny is located in the South East and Newcastle can be found on the East coast. EITM is a small grass strip to the north West of Dublin. Donegal and Abbeyshrule have paved runways whilst the others consist of small grass strips.
The scenery includes animals, vegetation and rural objects. It also includes sound effects, animations, some high definition people, and aircraft painted using real Irish aircraft photos. Many of the airports include open hangers and buildings modelled from real photographs. Although Donegal is the only one with ILS, full night textures are included for all the airports.
Many of the files are stand alone and can be switched on or off according to user preference. The scenery can be used as a standalone, however it also uses objects from my other scenery addons.
The scenery has been tested with FSXA only and is designed to complement vfr photographic scenery. It will also work with the FSX default terrain, however all objects have been placed using ordinance survey data and may therefore appear misplaced in the default.
Full installation instructions are included in the Readme file.
I hope you enjoy using the airports as much as I enjoyed making them.

| F-5A Freedom Fighter 'Aegean Blue' Hellenic Air Force |

This is a superb aircraft I used to fly as a Hellenic Air Force pilot. This is an "Aegean Blue" repaint flown in service of 343rd Squadron of Hellenic Air Force during the '90ties. The F-5 Freedom Fighter was a very succesfull aircraft during its 30 year carrer in HAF as a fighter, bomber, multy role aircraft until the early months 2001 when finaly released by active duty. This "F-5A_HAF_v1.zip" package is full compatible with FS2K2 and it contains sound, NEW (made by the author) panel, the official checklist (by Northrop) and a VERY completed flight manual which can be read with Adobe Acrobat.
This repaint was based on the original model made by Denis da Silva [email protected] & Daniel da Silva [email protected]. Using my 1800 hrs flight experience as a former F-5 pilot, I create (starting by "zero"...) a flight model ("air" file and aircraft.cfg file) and I test it to the limits to be sure that it flies like the real one and I can guarantee that! This "F-5A_HAF_v1.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the stick and do not fight with the contol stick while flying...Other words it is for people who want to know how the F-5A is realy flying!!
The package contains new visual effects, night lighting and the best looking mechanical parts movement, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc.

since I was already there myself and again no decent freeware scenerywas to be
found for the FSX,
so building it yourself was once again the trend
I tested the airport on another computer - everything works fine
Traffic works, Ai traffic as well as road traffic and ILS approach works. So
have fun in Koh Samui at the airport and the surrounding area .......
The best way to go on a voyage of discovery is with a small plane or helicopter so
that you can do the same
see many details .........

This is a version for FSX of the Merrill Field made by Roger Wensley (me) for FS9, converted by John B Loney jnr. "PAMR read this first" explains this but I have modified John's original procedure, and instead of first installing the Merrill Field original plus two updates I have included here the current FS9 version as installed on my computer. Note that to see the apron lighting working in FS9 it was necessary to have Sidney Schwartz's light library installed, along with his updated textures (to avoid severe blurries caused by a faulty texture). The original installation instructions are included giving file library priorities etc. Just ignore the bits that do not apply, such as installing AI that is not included. I have of course omitted the original AI as this is replaced by John's version. I have no comment to make on installing in FSX as I have not done so, and I have not tested it in FSX. If you have comments or questions I will respond as much as I am able. Merrill Field is in Anchorage Alaska, between Anchorage International to the southwest and and Elmendorf Air Force Base to the north. It caters for general aviation and is the land equivalent of the Lake Hood float plane base, with fuel and numerous maintenance facilities, and several hundred parking spots for small planes. There are three runways, and the longest is 4,000 feet of 100 feet wide asphalt, the second 2,635 feet of asphalt 75 feet wide, and the third 2,000 feet of 60 feet wide gravel. The first two have runway lights. It is a controlled airfield with a relatively new control tower to cater for the numerous flights and to coordinate with Elmensdorf and Anchorage International, the latter also controlling flights from Lake Hood and the adjacent gravel strip Z41. (See my Lake Hood scenery). The gravel runway at Merrill Field is not connected with active taxiways to the rest of the airfield; this avoids you being ordered to land on it when flying a plane too large to do so.

This is a scenery upgrade for Frazier Lake, California (1C9). This is part Eight of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. The scenery mainly reflects the appearance of the airpark from directly above. If you are familiar with the place when on the ground, due to the limited number of buildings available it probably looks quite different. There is now however, a water strip for float planes which was missing from the default. It is proper FS9 water so you may land on it. Also, a few images from the net show that the ground varies from green grass to bare earth so I have made four .bgl files for the base texture. Note, I am using Flight1 Ground Environment; the default fields will look different. You must have rwy12 and EZ scenery libraries installed for the buildings to show. Both libraries of objects are free. EZ Library is available at http://www.abacuspub.com/pub/AbacusEZLibraries.exe. Rwy12 and additional EZ Custom libraries from Avsim. Search under Scenery design.

This is a scenery upgrade for Funny Farm Airport, Brentwood, California (4CA2) (Why Funny Farm?) This is part Nine of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. The scenery mainly reflects the appearance of the airpark from directly above, so if you are familiar with the place then on the ground it probably looks quite different, due to the limited number of buildings available. This scenery includes the Private lake and dwellings to the southwest of the airstrip proper plus extensive landclass alterations to make the small paddocks in the same area. This is a tough place to land neatly in anything past a C172 in calm weather; the runway is only 20 feet wide! Built using EZ_Scenery, Lee Swordy's AFCAD and SBuilder. You must have rwy12 and EZ scenery libraries installed for the buildings to show. Both libraries of objects are free: EZ Library is available from http://www.abacuspub.com/pub/AbacusEZLibraries.exe and rwy12 and additional EZ Custom libraries from Avsim. Googly scenery for VEAT Argatala, India - one of the airports that Microsoft seem to have, um, "forgotten" in FS2004. In the real world it is regularly served by Boeings and Airbii of Alliance Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines (and smaller aircraft), using the 6000 foot runway with little room for manoevre. These scenery files add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other airport features to Flight Simulator's bland representation and allow you, and "AI" traffic, to land, taxi, park and take off realistically. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportianally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. Details of optional additional scenery library downloads are provided within.

| Project Airlift Royal New Zealand Air Force No. 40 Squadron #0 |

This is Project Airlift's (mis)interpretation of the No. 40 Squadron of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Only the two 757-200s are included as there is no appropriate AI model for the C-130. At this point in time (May 2003), the RNZAF has only taken delivery of one 757-200 (from United) and will be taking delivery of the other one in the next few months. If it makes you feel better, you can insert one of the flightplans in now and wait until August to insert the other one to better "simulate reality". The two planes visit sites mentioned by the Royal New Zealand Air Force as well as a few "virtual training missions" with the Royal Australian Air Force and other interesting places. Please download the RNZAF bases by PAL Pat Brown and the 757-200 by Cees Melieste (incredibly GPU & eye friendly model by Aardvark). The best way to find any PAL file is by searching the Avsim.com library with "Project Airlift".

to Daisuke Yamamoto's Boeing F/A-18E,

fa18esh3_138105.zip; Avsim library. This is
the CAG version of the bird. VFA-201 Hunters
fly the F/A-18A+ version of the Hornet now and
this paint scheme was originally applied to
that model Hornet. Upon transitioning to the
F/A-18 from F-14A Tomcats the Hunters dropped
the state of Texas insignia that they wore on
their Tomcats and re-adopted their earlier
chevron insignia that now adorns their
Hornets. For the first time in 50 years, an
entire Naval Reserve strike fighter squadron
was called up for active duty over Iraq. The
Hunters flew more than 1,000 sorties off of
the USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT, then returned home
to Ft. Worth NAS, JRB, in Texas. I wish to
thank Daisuke Yamamoto and Hiroaki Kubota for
providing us with such a fine model of this
aircraft and their kind permission to repaint
it. These are 32-bit textures with no mip-maps
to preserve image clarity.

This Profile was created by Joseph Ranos, (Sonar5) & includes about 225 Voice Commands that can be executed with a voice response.

Approximately 175+ voice Commands will Execute a MSFS2004 Key command as well as a Voice response. (voice response may be limited if you do not have all programs installed according to main Flight Assistant website). Approximately 60+ have a response but do not execute a key command. These are used for Cabin Crew Calls, and are optimized with FSD Avanti Checklists to show you the possibility of what the program is capable of. This file has been customized for the FSD Avanti and may not perform as designed if used with other aircraft.
