Delta Serpemtis Planetary System 1.01

File Description:
Fixed Version! This is an alternate fictitious solar system for the ORBITER space flight simulator, based on Delta Serpemtis, a real star approximatly 155 light years from the sun. See some screenshots in the AVSIM Orbiter forum from this package. There are a total of 6 planets and 11 moons in this system. 2 planets are gas giants with unique textures hand crafted by myself using Lunarcell. I'm including them in the package because the Luncarcell docs say that you cannot make a gas giant using it. Yes, you can. :D All moons/planets are a minimum of level 5 texture, with most at level 7. This version is for the latest build of Orbiter only and may not work in previous versions!

DC-101+ VTOL Aircraft

File Description:
This seems like a basic DC-9 right? Well no this amazing aircraft has 6 powerful engines, and VTOL capablities. It can hover, fly backwards, fowards, vertically. It works well with an incredibly short take-off but can also have a complete vertical lift-off! It if build could revoultionize the sirliner industry flying at well over 600mph and taking off on an area as small as a helipad. Nevertheless it is easy to do a conventional take-off using the whole runway. I think the cockpit controls are easy to use. But this plane takes a little bit of getting use to and is not an incredibly stable platform. Note: The DC-101+ take off best going 100% throtle at about a 50deg engine angle.

File Description:
AFCADv2 (FS2004) for EGLL London Heathrow, 2005, Default scenery, as per AIS document (Dec 04). Changes from Default version:---Most gates assigned, taxiways renamed as per AIS document (Dec 04). Taxiways A and B re-aligned to prevent aircraft hitting buildings as was the case before with the default AFCAD. Terminal 3, pier 6 changes added too. New Terminal 5 parking spaces added (10 spaces) and ramp areas as per AIS document (Dec 04). Closed taxiways addded to tidy up taxiway lighting. RWY 09L/27R for Landing, 09R/27L for takeoff. Antonov An-22 Turboprop

File Description:
The Antonov An-22 is the biggest turboprop plane ever build in serieproduction. In total 68 were build, the first one made it's maiden flight in 1965. It has four turboprop engines which drive large contra-rotating propellers, each with a diameter of 6 meters (20 feet). The An-22 set a number of world records, including no fewer than 14 payload-to-height marks on one occasion in 1967. Some of the planes are still in service until present day, including ones which fly for western heavylift companies. Flightsim version is designed up to the limit of AF99/AA, almost 1000 parts, 12 sided main fuselage, detailed and accurate textures, accurate flightmodel, moving contra-rotation props, moving flaps. A63 Intruder va-34

File Description:
This Grumman A6E Invader is in the squadron markings of the U.S. Navy's VA-34 Blue Blasters. In September 1970 VA-34 put to sea for an Operational Readiness Inspection (ORI) aboard USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67) as part of Carrier Air Wing ONE (CVW 1). Events in the Middle East necessitated an unexpected sortie of CV 67 and her Air Wing to the Mediterranean in the summer of 1970. The squadron returned home in March 1971 from this unscheduled deployment, only one year old, but already in possession of the Meritorious Unit Commendation. In August 1971, VA-34 received the Battle "E" award as the Atlantic Fleet's top A-6 squadron. Textures only. Rick Sasala's a-6e2k2.zip is required.

Lighthouse and Beams

File Description:
The lighthouse-plain.api is the one used in the Grand Lake O12 scenery project. It has a rotating beacon light & lamp. EOD source included. I darkened the lighthouse sides texture from the one shown here. All are re-scaleable without having to redo the EOD. Feel free to modify it. Beams API set so ya can agl altitude position them inside or over top of other api/objects. There's two kinds; 3 feet wide and 6 feet wide. These range in length of 100 yards (299 feet) to 5200 feet long. They all have a lamp and both beam & lamp rotate horizontal. They all just use the beam.bmp and the beam_LM.bmp Beam_LM.bmp is the only visable texture in the sim. The beam.bmp is the dummy.

The Flying Lions Formation Aerobatic Team - T-6G Harvard - ZU-BEJ

File Description:
The North American T-6 Texan was an excellent design that served as a basic transitional combat trainer in all branches of U.S. service as well as in countries worldwide. Arnie Meneghelli, a South African business man acquired 5 of these planes in 1997 from the South African Airforce and started what is now known as "The Flying Lions Formation Aerobatic Team" sponsored by Castrol and Academy brushware. This team can be seen on numerous airshows and stun the audience with their immaculate flying, as they take these qircraft through their paces. Aircraft repaint by Eberhard Haberkorn. Please respect all copyrights and intellectual property rights. These are TEXTURES ONLY. You need to own a legal copy of AlphaSim's Harvard. Should also work in FSX.

FDE PSS A320 LIP v1.6 (Improved A-FLOOR protection)

File Description:
A320 IAE V2500-A5@27000Lbs With LIP v1.6 (Lift Improvement Package) by Alan Fernandes and improved A-FLOOR protection by Edson Costa. Application of LIP on A320-IAE has been developped with the main objective to improve landing performance at SDU (PR-MAG and PR-MAK). LIP allows to reduce the approach speed by 6-7 kt for operational landing weights. Note: Preliminary estimate of the speed benefit was around 4kt. Five structural modifications have been introduced to change the aerodynamic configuration of the aircraft: 3 modifications on the wing leading edge, 1 modification on the engine nacelle (not modeled) and 1 modification on the wing trailing edge.
