| Chicago Sectional Chart Chunks for Aerosoft's FSMap |

File Description:
Sectional chart chunks made from the August 2009 Sectional charts at the original scale, formatted in the WGS84 lat/long geographic coordinate system for the FSMap, moving map application for flight simulation use. The chart chunks are the full sectional divided by 2 tiles (east/west) and converted to baseline 8bit tiffs with packbits compression applied. The images average 6,000x6,000 pixels at about 25mb each, also included is the FSMap fsm Calibration file for importing.

Tips and Tricks III. Tips and Tricks and Tips and Tricks II was so well received that I have compiled a third collection of Tips and Tricks for FS2004. that work well on my modest setup. This is not meant to be a comprehensive listing – just a few tips, tricks and ideas that I have come across that you may wish to try. This collection includes, amongst other things, a cool recommendation for KIDS (of all ages) and several suggestions for budding scenery designers. Also included is a brief discussion of frame rates and panel aliasing. Hopefully you will find something of use in these collections. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats by David "Opa" Marshall.

File Description:
Flight Ontario posted their scenery for CYRO in 2008. I originally learned to fly at Rockcliffe Flying Club and came up with some additions and modifications in 2009, and now with the passage of time there are more changes. This version replaces the previous updates and is a self-contained version.
A mini tornado in 2009 destroyed the old willow tree and almost put paid to the clubhouse too (though all the buildings are still standing right now) so there is a new (temporary) clubhouse, a new hangar, the willow tree is gone, the car park is enlarged and is now asphalt, the fence line is revised and the entrance gate relocated. The previous modifications included the refueling point near the RFC buildings, revised apron shape, gravel car park, parked cars, extended perimeter fence, deck in front of the RFC clubhouse, more parked planes, the large and old willow tree, and the float dock in the river. Note in the winter picture the Ottawa River is frozen, as it is right now in reality, and you can download my "Frozen Lakes etc" post and turn your own Canadian winter into reality; I have been surprised by how few people are interested in winter flying in FS9.

This panel is for the DHC-6 Twin Otter model made by Eric Dantès and Mauricio Illanes.
Full package including 80 custom gauges (16 engine gauges strictly true to the real dhc6 and 12 photoreal flight instruments), aircraft.cfg, .air files, new autopilot, auto-throttle device, subpanels bitmaps, 10 window views and wing views, gauges sound files and airline logo displayed in 2Dpanel and Vcockpit.
In addition, a set of documents with a full Panel Documentation, Operating Procedures, Check List, Reference List, Fuel Calculation sheet, 20 new repaints and more.
You need the original aircraft model (see Readme / Lisezmoi / Léeme).

This is an AI traffic package for the Braniff "jellybean" era. Includes some forty repaints to cover the entire fleet in varied colors, AI schedules, a scan of the June 13, 1967 Braniff timetable that I used to create the schedules, scans of a few of my slides from the era and a couple of other odds & ends. All AI models are included in the download.
This is the same as before the hack. The only difference is that KDEN has been corrected to XDEN -- Denver Stapleton.

This is an image collection of 6 maintenance platforms - Requires LOM (available on this site) and EZ Scenery Library ez-maint-platforms.zip also available on this site. Also included is a set of higher resolution screenshots to upgrade those images imported into LOM. Higher resolution screenshots are suitable for printing an index or contact sheet of images. There are A LOT of wake trails in the photoreal water areas that have no accompanying boat objects on top of them. This looks bad when you're flying low in a plane or helicopter. Now all the empty wake trails will have appropriate boat objects on top of them.
