File Description:
This is a re-paint of the former Air Rhodesia DC-3 (Cargo) VP-YKP as it appeared in the 1960's. It was in service from 1953-1977. This re-paint is suitable for the MAAM DC-3 (cargo) only. Air Rhodesia was re-named Air Zimbabwe once that country became independent. It comes with shading and dirt from all of its landings on dusty African Airstrips. This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-117D by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-117D N306SF (cn 43393) Skyfreighters, 1985. The aircraft was delivered to the USAAF as C-47A-30-DL, 42-23758 with C/N 9620. To the USN as R4D-5 BuNo 12437 then rebuilt to R4D-8. Became C-117D when designations standardized in 1962. Other civil regns include N8538R and N44GH. Served with Blue Angels 1953-55. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on paintkit by Manfred Jahn.

File Description:
Air Atlantique Douglas DC-6A Liftmaster, Reg. Id. G-APSA, c/n 45497/995, as seen in September 2007 at Lelystad and Hamburg Airport Days. Shows vintage livery of KLM PH-TGA named "Dr. Ir. M.H. Damme” as the original PH-TGA participated in the 1953 London-Christchurch Air Race. The DC-6A was an extended DC-6 with cargo doors and a reinforced floor for carrying cargo. Textures only. Original by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson, flight dynamics by FSAviator, repainted by Hans U. Hermann (Virtual Birds Factory)

TWA(Transcontinental & Western Air) Douglas DC-3-209 NC17323 "Skyclub 373", C/N 1969, builded 1937,sold in 1953 to Union Steel and Wrecking Co.,in service with the Fuerza Aerea Ecuatoriana as FAE-1969, HC-AUV, then in Colombia as HK-3350X, last report(21-07-1987) as HK-3350 with SERVICIOS AEREOS ESPECIALIZADOS TRANSPORTES PETROLEROS SAEP S.A.This aircraft was also reported in some publications as model DC-3-102A. TWA(renamed Trans World Airlines 17 may 1950) operated with a fleet of 76 DC-3's.

File Description:
The Piaggio P-149 is a trainer-laison aircraft. It first flew in June 19th, 1953. I'ts a development of the P-148 model, with increased seat capacity, tricycle retractable landing gear and a more powerful engine, featuring a three-bladed constant speed propeller. It was mainly used by German Luftwaffe (P-149D) as a training aircraft. The P-149CH variant was used by Swissair as flying school (Swissair Luftverkehrsschule).
These textures require the FREEWARE original aircraft by Mario Noriega. Installation instructions are included. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

File Description:
Let C-11 (Yak -11) for FS9. The Yak-11 design was based in large part on the successful Yak-3 fighter, and became the Soviet Air Force's most widely used trainer aircraft. From 1953, an additional 707 were licence-built by Let in Czechoslovakia under the name C-11 (LET C-11 in some documentation). Both Yak-11 and C-11 were used in all Warsaw Pact countries and were exported to eighteen countries. The model is created using Gmax, with 2D cockpit, fully clickable virtual cockpit and all moving parts.
