| KLVN - Airlake Airport - Lakeville, MN, USA |
|
File Description:
KLVN - Airlake Airport beta version .4 - by Jason Boche
This is an update of the default P3Dv4.5 KLVN airport. Aside from the original 12/30 runway, everything else at this airport has been completely ripped and replaced.
Enhancements include:
-Extended runway on each end to depict current configuration
-Accurate taxiways including Hamburg Ave. and buildings representing the current general aviation hangars
-Added navigational equipment on the field
-Added a few asphault and dirt service roads
-Added FBO and other buildings as close as I could match them
-Added some general aviation aircraft, civilians, vehicles at the FBO and hangars, and two fuel trucks
-Moved fuel station to where I believe it is currently according to Google maps with 100LL fuel trigger functional
-Moved the windsock to accurate location
-Moved the beacon to accurate location
-Moved GA parking spots
-Added trees around FBO and beacon
-Added utility poles
-Added a few square miles of Lakeville city, farm, and residential land class and autogen according to Google maps. This is probably the biggest improvement. It now looks like people live, work, and shop north/northwest of KLVN.
-Reworked the runway 12/30 blast pads to what I believe is the "proper" method. Instead of freehand polygon asphault, they are now actual runway extensions on both ends with yellow chevron markings
-Reworked the land class on the southwest end of the airport where I believe hangar expansion is intended. Prior to this, there was a sharp contrast between where the KLVN airport boundary ended and where generic farm landclass began which was right in the middle of the southwest taxiways and it looked bad. Now that whole region is grass and looks to be part of the airport parcel.
-Minor building adjustments west of the FBO to better match actual placement.
-Fixed a gap on the southeast end of Hamburg ave taxiway where it rounds the corner for the rwy 30 hold short line
-Randomized the directional facing of some of the cars parked at GA hangars
-Renumbered the parking spots 1-4 with #5 being the refueling spot
-Reversed the start direction of parking spots 1-3.
-Pulled the refueling parking "start" spot back because on start the engine cowling & prop were too far forward inside the fuel pump equipment
-Added an autogen exclusion to the rwy 12 short final due to trees popping up on short final path.
-KLVN tower viewpoint 25 meters above FBO.
-Removed the perimeter fence around the entire field

File Description:
Air France's new airline Joon flightplans - 100% flights accurate on the 26/03/2018.
The airline was launched on the 1st of december of 2017, based in Paris Charles de Gaule airport. It is now operating routes to the following destinations:
-Cairo
-Berlin
-Naples
-Rome
-Oslo
-Lisbon
-Porto
-Barcelona
-Istanbul
-Cape Town
The airline is now using 7 A320s, 5 A321s, and 2 A340s, all transfered from Air France.
The airline operated its operation on the 1st of december 2017 as a new subsidairy of AirFrance. All of the aircrafts are all former Air France, i.e. 3 days ago Joon received its first A321 from parent company. Joon seems to follow an hybrid airline with many goals: 1) be cheaper than air france to compete with growing low cost, 2) feed the air france hubs 3) as it is cheaper, fly on destinations where air france is not profitable - or else open new routes 4) try to sound attractive to the younger generations. For all these reasons, Joon is currently flying to Barcelona (lots competition on that route), Rome, Fortaleza (new route) or Mumbai (not profitable neither), have wifi on board and its staff wears hypster clothes ;)The enabler ia the staff having lower wages.

| FSX/P3D Trans-Texas Airways DC-3/C-47 circa 1962 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Trans-Texas Airways colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Trans-Texas Airways (TTA) began operations in 1940, at Houston, as an aircraft sales and service company named Aviation Enterprises. The name was changed to Trans-Texas Airways on June 21 1947, and scheduled Douglas DC-3 services were inaugurated on October 11. Initially, Trans-Texas Airways flew routes only within Texas, but the key year in the history of Trans Texas Airways was 1966. That year its route network was significantly strengthened by the acquisition of new feeder routes from Eastern Airlines. This gave them virtual control of the entire feeder route system of the U.S. Southwest. Following this, TTA became an international airline in August 1967, with flights to Monterrey, Tampico, and Vera Cruz in Mexico. The expansion, however, created financial difficulties for TTA. This led to a takeover of TTA, in late 1968, by Minnesota Enterprises. The stockholders then voted to change the company name and corporate image the following spring. Thus, on March 1 1969, Trans-Texas Airways became Texas International Airlines. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

| Feelthere E175/E195 V3 SP1+ V3 Resized VC Textures |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
These are resized shared and shared lighting virtual cockpit textures for Version 3 (with SP1) of the Feelthere E175/E195 for Prepar3D Verion 4.5 and above. After Service Pack 1, released to date only for the Feelthere E175/E195, performance issues were experienced by some owners of the E175/E195 V3. Specifically, when switching views from the virtual cockpit (VC) to an exterior view and then back to the VC, some users experienced long load times and sustained low frame rates, in some cases as low as 5 fps or lower while in the VC view. The problem was experienced more often in the dusk to twilight times or at dawn. The textures related to these symptoms seem to be the shared textures and the shared lighting textures used by the virtual cockpit. This package is a set of those textures, resized to 2048x2048 (2K) from 4096x4096 (4K). Any textures smaller than 2K were not resized. These textures are only resized; no changes were made to any other attributes of characteristics of the DDS format files. NOTE: Feelthere has kindly given me permission to publish these textures and I thank them for that. To use these textures you must own a copy of the Feelthere Embraer E-JETS E175 AND E195 V3.

| Avro Lancaster (NA-S) No.44 Sqn R5508 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the AVRO Lancaster by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of Lancaster B.1 R5508 of No.44 Squadron based on Waddington, UK, as flown by Squadron Leader John Nettleton from South Africa during the low-level daylight raid on the MAN factory in Augsburg, Germany on 17 April, 1942. It involved six aircraft of 44 squadron and six of 97 squadron, that had to fly some 1000 miles over hostile terrain in daylight at low level. Only two of 44 sqn and five of 97 sqn reached the target, and two more aircraft were shot down near Augsburg by flak. Four 97 sqn aircraft returned to base under cover of darkness, but of 44 sqn, only Squadron Leader Nettletons aircraft, although heavily damaged, made it back to the UK. Nettleton received the VC for this raid, F/L Penman of 97 Sqn the DSO. 8 DFC's and 10 DFM's were awarded to other crew members. Nettleton died on 13 July 1943, returning from a raid on Turin. It is believed he was shot down near Brest by a FW190 of JG.2. His body and those of his crew were never recovered. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.

| ALM Antillean Airlines 1998 |
|
File Description:
In 1998, ALM was just 3 years from failure. The airline was operating 3 MD-82s and 4 DHC-8-300s mostly from CUR onwards to nearby nations as well as to ATL and MIA, while frequenting SXM as well. Now, I did the best I could, but this airlines schedule was a mess! It would often show the same flight number being flown at 3 or 4 different times on the same day with slight variation (as in LM810 CUR-BON leaving at 1505, 1510, and 1515 ALL on Friday, which is obviously an error). A very odd schedule. None the less, I was able to put it together with just 1 extra DHC-8-300 which is segregated if you don't wish to include it. The DHC-8s often turn in 10-15 minutes, and the MD-80s in 25-30, so the fleet keeps rather busy. TFS DHC-8-300 repaint by Christian Gold and Antoine Calleja\APG included. The AIA MD-80 texture by Frank Severino may be found on Avsim as: "texture.zip"(not a typo!). Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. File Description:
This scenery is based on the great CVN 68 Nimitz carrier model from Javier Fernandez.
The scenery shall replace my current CVN 75 scenery in the North Sea.
The scenery includes the following scenery elements, objects and dynamic traffic:
The carrier CVN 68 Nimitz and a lot of stuff on deck, 2 flying Helicopters over the Carrier,
4 Navy-Destroyers escorting the Carrier, 2 moving Destroyer based on a "Boats Traffic Plan
which are traveling around the group, 1 moving Tanker,a Oilrig about 30 nm northwest from the Carrier with a landable Platform !!
Seven F-18 Hornets as AI traffic, three F-18 Hornets based on recorded flights.
For the re-play of the start and landing traffic, the tool FSRecorder is required. The tool is part of this scenery package.
The carrier is built up as an airport with the code " CV68 ".
For installation and more info see the documentation inside the zip file.
For full carrier operation (catapul/cable catch) you need one of the two tools: RCBCO-30.zip, or ArrCab26.zip both available at the AVSIM lib.
CREDIT goes to :Javier Fernandez for his super great carrier model and to
Matthias Neusinger for his excellent FSRecorder tool.

Images related to this file:
File Description:
Re-upload. Built during 1934 by the Societa Idrovolanti Alta Italia "Savoia¢, the SM.74 had accommodation for twenty-four passengers in one large cabin. It had wooden wings and welded steel tube fuselage covered with aluminium and painted canvas. Fitted with four 780 h.p. Alfa Romeo AR.126 RC engines. Its loaded weight was 31.000 lbs and the cruising speed 190 m.p.h.. The SM.74 was the first four-engined Italian airliner. Only three planes were built (I-URBE, I-ROMA, I-ALPE), and they served from 1936 with Ala Littoria; distinguished by comfort and luxury, these planes were fast, safe and sturdy. The SM.74s were used on the Rome-Paris route until 1938 and on the Rome-Tripoli route until 1940. After June 1940 the Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) incorporated all the civil aircrafts. The SM.74, carrying more than 5,000 kg of material, revealed itself as the best Italian (operative) cargo. Complete aircraft. 3 Different Hi-Res GMax models (3 different versions), features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and navlights. Three different liveries (2 Ala Littoria + 1 Regia Aeronautica); 2D panel only (NO VC). Created by Manuele Villa , November 2007. Installation instructions included.
