File Description:
FS2004 Lockheed EP-3E Aries II, a turboprop-based signals reconnaissance aircraft, operated by the United States Navy. It is based on a Lockheed P-3 Orion airframe, which is in turn based on the Lockheed L-188 Electra passenger airliner. There are eleven EP-3Es in the Navy's inventory, the last of which was delivered in 1997. A total of twelve P-3C aircraft were converted to replace older versions of the aircraft, which had been converted in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
On April 1, 2001, an EP-3E (PR-32) was intercepted by Chinese F-8 fighter jets about 70 miles off the Chinese island of Hainan. One of the Chinese jets bumped the wing of the EP-3E, which was forced to make an emergency landing in China. VQ-1 provides electronic reconnaissance from the east coast of Africa to the west coast of the United States. The squadron maintains a permanent detachment in Misawa Japan and has maintained a continuous presence in the Arabian Gulf since July 1992.

Pilatus PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter for FSX by Tim Conrad in a Royal Netherlands Air Force livery. The PC-6C Turbo Porter has been an amazing contribution to the STOL aircraft fleet around the world for decades. It's robust airframe and excellent aerodynamics make the plane very popular for para-drops, but also for supply missions in remote area's throughout the globe. Despite it's age the aircraft is still widely in use. This repaint represents a "what-if" RNLAF PC-6C in 336 Sqn colours. 336 Sqn has been a Dutch Antilles based Air Force MARPAT unit operating F-27MPA's. Currently the Sqn operates four C-130's from Eindhoven AB, with a new Sqn logo. This PC-6C is (fictional) operated by 2 ULF (Utility and Liaison Flight), 336 Sqn. The flight is designated to operate anywhere in the world. This livery resembles a unit operating from Tarin kowt (Tereen (OATN)), Uruzgan, Afghanistan 2009 under ISAF mandate, and in support of the Dutch Task force Uruzgan, Tarin Kowt, 2009. The aircraft shares the same registration as my previous livery (PC-6C_KLU.zip), but weathered, tone-down grey and 37 years later.You need the excellent freeware PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter by Tim Conrad in order to use this repaint. Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 3). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-23, with just over 5,000 built, was Russia's first production of a true multi-role aircraft with a beyond-visual-range air superiority role as its primary function. The aircraft was arguably the direct counterpart of the F-4 Phantom, although it carried about half of the ordnance load. Nevertheless, in capable hands and late versions, the Flogger has been and is a very potent adversary; having served in multiple conflicts in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The MiG-23 entered service in 1970, was eventually operated by 43 countries, and is still in service in 14 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-23ML and MiG-23P; with 10 models and 91 repaints. Included in that count is a small service pack for parts 1 and 2 of this project which fixes one texture glitch and adds three more operator countries, instructions are included in the documentation. | Douglas C-47 (PH-PBA) Rijksluchtvaartdienst |

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of PH-PBA. It was built as c/n 19434 and went to the 8th Air Force as 42-100971. She served among other during Operation Market Garden. After the war, she was obtained by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and registered as PH-PBA in 1946. In 1947, the Rijksluchtvaartdienst (RLD, Civil Aviation Authoroties) took her on charge, and from then on she served as the first Dutch Government aircraft, used mainly to fly the Dutch Royal family, often with Prince Bernhard as pilot. In 1961 she was replaced by a Fokker F-27, but continued to be used by the RLD, in the paintscheme presented here. In 1975, she was transferred to the Aviodome museum at Schiphol airport, where she stood outside for 20 years. Prince Bernhard always lobbied for a return to airworthiness for PH-PBA, and in 1995 she reappeared on the Dutch register. She is currently flying with the Dutch Dakota Association, in a combined KLM - Air France paintscheme. | Lockheed P-38L Italian Air Force 3 Stormo 3-12 |

This folder contains a repaint for the MIlviz P-38L, representing P-38L MM4260 3-21 as flown by the 3 Stormo of the Italian Air Force. After the war, Italy received 120 P-38s in an agreement dated April, 1946. Those heavy fighters, mainly P-38Ls, but also F-5s, were put in service in 4 Stormo. They flew reconnaissance missions over the Balkans, as well as ground attack, naval cooperation and air superiority missions. Delivered after a one-month refurbishing, they finally were all sent to AMI not before 1952. Other wings, like 3 Stormo, used the P-38 as well. Due at the big dimensions of this fighter, the old engines and pilot error, a very high number of P-38s, sadly, were lost in accidents. At least 30 crashes of P-38s in Italian service claimed a number of victims. Despite this, many Italian pilots liked the fighter, due to its excellent visibility on the ground and its stability at take off. Finally, P-38s were phased-out in 1956. Today, no Italian P-38s survive, nor even a single component from one, as these aircraft, with the value of light alloys, were quickly dismantled. | Fairchild 24 (2/96) Swedish Air Force |

This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of 2/96, a civilian Fairchild 24 that was impressed into the Swedish Air Force. At the outbreak of war, many civilian aircraft were mobilized. Most of them was larger aircraft, but lighter aircraft for liaison work were also used. The Naval Aviation Wing of F 2 at Hägernäs needed smaller aircraft for transport of personnel and liaison in their co-operation with the Navy.
For this reason, one Fairchild 24-C8CS-De Luxe was mobilized between May of 1940 and February of 1943. Its earlier civil registration was SE-AIR (in the USA ex NC15926). It was powered with a Warner Super Scarab S50 air-cooled radial engine delivering 145 hk. The aircraft was designated Tp 6 and got the Air Force number 912. At the delivery of the Tp 6 in May of 1940 to the Air Force, it crashed. But it was repaired and in service again in October the same year. After its time in the Air Force, the Fairchild went back to the civil register, where it was written off in 1951 after another crash.

| Avro Lancaster (NA-S) No.44 Sqn R5508 |

This folder contains a repaint for the AVRO Lancaster by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of Lancaster B.1 R5508 of No.44 Squadron based on Waddington, UK, as flown by Squadron Leader John Nettleton from South Africa during the low-level daylight raid on the MAN factory in Augsburg, Germany on 17 April, 1942. It involved six aircraft of 44 squadron and six of 97 squadron, that had to fly some 1000 miles over hostile terrain in daylight at low level. Only two of 44 sqn and five of 97 sqn reached the target, and two more aircraft were shot down near Augsburg by flak. Four 97 sqn aircraft returned to base under cover of darkness, but of 44 sqn, only Squadron Leader Nettletons aircraft, although heavily damaged, made it back to the UK. Nettleton received the VC for this raid, F/L Penman of 97 Sqn the DSO. 8 DFC's and 10 DFM's were awarded to other crew members. Nettleton died on 13 July 1943, returning from a raid on Turin. It is believed he was shot down near Brest by a FW190 of JG.2. His body and those of his crew were never recovered. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.

| Zaragoza AB Retro 1958-1962 |

File Description:
This scenery and its traffic represents Zaragoza AB (LEZG) in the Cold War era of the late 50s to early 60s. Zaragoza was one of three major Cold War US air bases in Spain, the others being Torrejon (also available here and at other sites) and Moron. Zaragoza served as a Reflex base for Strategic Air Command, hosting various B-47 units doing rotational duty at the base along with permanently assigned fighters for air defense purposes. It was shared with the Spanish Air Force which flew the F-86F. All of this is represented in this retro version of Zaragoza AFB including Traffic for 1958 and 1962.
This scenery requires the installation of Zaragoza-1 by By Pablo Fernandez de Bobadilla, Jose Ramon Rodriguez and Diego Novillo. Information provided in the installation instructions. Full credit goes to them for the original modeling of the base. We have simply modified the ADE/AFCAD file and flightline elements to take it back to the time of the B-47 bombers and fighters of the late 50s and early 60s. | FSX FA-18 2024 Aerodynamic Performance Upgrade |

This is a performance mod/upgrade for the FSX Acceleration/Steam FA-18 Hornet. This will also work with both the "Sludge Hornet" and with the "Combat" add-ons. The inspiration for this "Upgrade" came from the YouTube vids of the AWESOME Swiss and Finnish F-18C Hornet Demos at RIAT RAF Fairford! After seeing those, I went to work modifying the "aircraft.cfg" and "FA-18.air" files and got the "old" FSX Hornet to fly like a NEW jet! Think of it like fixing up an old sports car, putting in a new engine, suspension, and when you're done it drives better than when it was new! I've made the upgrade instructions easy and it should only take just a couple minutes to complete. THEN your FSX FA-18 Hornet will look and fly like the ones in those videos!! And it won't just be great at airshow flying, it will also fly smooth and stable around the carrier, and will be LOTS of fun "free flying" through the mountains at 500ft and 500kts! I've also included new/upgraded afterburner textures, and a Shockwave exterior light upgrade. And as a BONUS, I've included BOTH the Swiss J-5011 and Finland HN-411 RIAT Airshow repaint textures.

Trans Australian Airlines or Nationally known as TAA, was established in 1946 by the Commonwealth Government, which called the airline Australian National Airlines Commission which operated as TAA. Qantas assigned TAA to perfome its domestic routes in Australia as at that stage Qantas was flying Internation sectors. Taa began with Convair Cv-240 and then ended with the Airbus a300 which was purchaced in the Mid 1970's. TAA ceased opperations in 1989. Then Australian Airlines was born. This aircraft works for both fs2002/fs2004.
