File Description:
Indonesian Air Force A-4E/TA-4J Skyhawk (Late Scheme); for retro AI traffic. This package represents the Skyhawks operated by Indonesia, which served through the 1980s-1990s, until replaced by F-16s and Su-27s. This package uses the Nick Black base model set, but these models have been heavily modified by me from the FSDS source; and this package. I have added a lot of new things to create two virtually new base models, please refer to the enclosed readme file for a list of adds and changes. All models retain Nick's original XML animations, plus some new ones I created. The aircraft also uses the unaltered (save for one light position change), original FDE by Mike MacIntyre. This package has two main aircraft models, the A-4E (Israeli mod) and TA-4J; and includes 18 serials with many loadout options. The included readme file includes instructions, notes, disclaimers, credits, and anything else I can think of. Original aircraft and source by Nick Black, FDE by Mike MacIntyre, expert mentoring by Frank Safranek and Steve Holland, model modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.

| Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 4) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 4). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-23, with just over 5,000 built, was Russia's first production of a true multi-role aircraft with a beyond-visual-range air superiority role as its primary function. The aircraft was arguably the direct counterpart of the F-4 Phantom, although it carried about half of the ordnance load. Nevertheless, in capable hands and late versions, the Flogger has been and is a very potent adversary; having served in multiple conflicts in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The MiG-23 entered service in 1970, was eventually operated by 43 countries, and is still in service in 14 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-23MLA, MiG-23MLD, and a what-if had the MiG-23-98 been put in serial production; with 20 models and 82 repaints. Original aircraft model, afterburner effects, flight dynamics, and textures by Michael Pearson. Please read included documentation for credits and disclaimers.

| Wien Air Alaska '1984' Boeing 727-277 Adv. |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the 727-277 in Wien Air Alaska 1984 colors. The freeware 727-200 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. Wien Air Alaska was Alaska’s oldest major airline, and one of America's oldest. They inaugurated their first scheduled flights between Fairbanks and Nome on June 20, 1927. Wien operated various piston airliners before they formally entered the turboliner era with the acquisition of 2 Fairchild F-27As in 1958-59. In the early 1970s Wien was making good profits. However, 1977 was a particularly bad year as their pilots went on a major strike, and they posted a net loss of $742,000; a substantial amount for the airline. They made a recovery in 1979-80. Their route system was 10,500 miles long and they flew to over 150 points in Alaska, Canada, and Seattle. By 1981 their revenues climbed 42.8% to $180.7 million, the highest ever for the airline. However, further financial problems hit Wien heavily and they closed for business on November 28, 1984. Wien had 4 727-200s in their fleet. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.
